Definitely ripple are giving profits early january this year i think ripple pump again their price just hold the relax mate, patience are best ways to make earning for holding the coins.
Specially the investor's turn back again and invest.

Ripple will be very hard to reach $ 5. This is a coin of banks which effectively discourages investors. There are many better coins on the market from ripple. If it reaches 2 $, it will be maximum.

It shouldn't given the amount of coins they distributed. If the trend of coins being overvalued continues I can see ripple getting there eventually

Ripple has gone really really down now but it has reached 3USD only a couple of months ago so it means it has the potential...it is already the third ranked coin in the coinmarketcap and i the coming time...surely it will reach 5 usd

That is fine. And this is why I say you are either lucky or unlucky most of the time. Like those who bought Bitcoin after 10k they might have felt so stupid when it reached 20k and they held. But we have many years ahead of us to see how things will turn out in crypto.

I myself only bought Ripple at $1 something, and if I can feel the pain of 30-40% losses, I can imagine what it must be like for people like you. Ripple is extremely centralized so I would not worry. They will definitely intervene to take the price above $1 again, and then they will want it to reach $3 for sure, at least one more time. Hang in there.

Nowdays this coin is not attracting users because the scope and the expectation this coin has created somehow dint deliver from 2018 till date. It being falling only even in this rising market and thus not a good investment at this point in this coin.

Ripple would follow Bitcoin path whether it is price rise or price dip but it may reflect in its price bit late like 3 to 4 days. Since Bitcoin's price is trending upwards definitely Ethereum would follow the trend, you bought for $2.50 and you need to wait for another couple of months to double your investment or may be triple. Just hold the coin and wait patiently and do not get panic now.

I think it's totally possible for a good cryptocurrency like Ripple, it's the best crypto after ETH and BTC but I don't know what happening make Ripple price is very low atm. But I think in the near future, maybe just at the end of this year, Ripple is possible to reach to 5$ or maybe even higher than that, nothing can stop it if it's a really good cryptocurrency. Beside as I know Ripple is being supported very hard by Asia countries.

We cannot guarantee this year that it will reach again that price but the probability is high in years ahead. XRP is a good coin to invest fundamentally speaking because it has back up with banking sectors. Just be patient enough to hold on. What your experience right now is just a paper loss. Focus your attention in future price just sits and wait the price to recover.

Most coins are long term coins if you want to see massive profits. Look how long it took Bitcoin to get where it is. However, Ripple (XRP) will most likely face a longer and tougher wait as the community doesn't really consider it crypto based on the fact that it is centralized and the fact that it is backed by the banks. Already they have faced a lot of negative results this year, such as Coinbase coming out saying that they don't have any intentions of listing them. This and other little setbacks will make it difficult for ripple to climb back up. I do personally think it would reach and surpass $5, but it might be end of the year. Let's wait and see what regulations the EU wants to pass for crypto, things may change then for XRP, since it already sort of regulated.
