I honestly don't see Ripple reaching $5 dollars. It got close during it's run up but now it's price isn't anywhere near it.

no it has no chance to reach that level , despite what the ripple shills are telling you here. just take a look at the supply and you know it is impossible , most coins are still in a couple persons hands . get out and buy some real crypto's.

agree, ripple is a good money investment and future proof profit type but it all comes down to this, when exactly is that? if we base on the growth of crypto market recently i think it all depends on bitcoin now, all alts are affected with bitcoins price dip in the last couple of days and many says that it will continue until lunar calendar, whatever happens just hodl OP If you don't need the money, then just HODL. I think it's a long way from Ripple's $ 5. I think the Ripple structure will stay at $ 2. Of course, this may not hold my guess. This is my opinion. Total Ripple's number and function are leading me to this prediction.

Remember when the value of LISK was below $5 but later move to $7 and later move to $21 withing a short period of time, so also there is a tendency that ripple will reach $5 one day if not above. Don't loss hope and stay positive, such negativity feeling will make you down, it is much better if you control it. We have notice that market today are started to move high, and I believe Ripple also will grow just like the other coins. Reaching such $5 amount it seems to be not easily to get since market trend are growing slowly but no possible, maybe you should take any longer or sell it in same price when you buy it. I am very sorry for you since you made a huge loss. Ripple probably going up again until 2019 but I am not confident it will reach your target of $3 or more.
Since companies can use the technology of ripple without using ripples coin there might not be much use in future. Depending on how many companies will adopt the technology including the coin you might get away without losses.
Just to help you for further investments, be sure that the price didn't rice very quickly in a very short time. Since that's always a sign of a total overbought asset which might crash soon in the same speed it went up.

Well of course it will. Bitcoin price increasing and all altcoins prices being quoted in bitcoins, since Bitcoin will reach prices in the area of 200k$ per coin in the next decade, Ripple price will increase a lot too.
It will go up to 5$, but you must realize that it's not gonna be soon. You need to wait for a market to recover and wait for market growth.

I've been following for a year. I've read this same thread from people that bought the all time high's at 0.03, 0.07, 0.44 cents and every time there is a new high. From 20 cents to to over 40 cent's took nearly 5 months
After a year it can be too late to sell. Ripple so strange coin that I will not be surprised if all banks will accept or reject this protocol once and forever. So very dangerous strategy as I think

I am also in confusion. Some day ago, I bought ripple with high price but at that time the price of ripple is so low. I don't know what is the best decision. I don't want to sell my ripple with loses. So i think holding is the best decision now.
