I invested some time to go through all the comments in this thread one by one.
I took a positive comment as "Yes" and a negative comment as "No"and in between as "Maybe".
Here is my summary

Now some highlights from this thread as pro and cons towards XRP and Ripple as a company :

XRP is one of the coins in my portfolio that I am always questioning if I should keep or if I should sell. It was one of my first crypto currency investments (when it was still around USD 0.20), so I would like to see it succeed and I hope it can reach its all time high at some point this or next year.

"Cuallet’s Money Transfer Service Integrates Ripple’s xRapid"

Also its over heard "Starbucks Will Accept Ripple (XRP) in 2018" but to be honest I guess none is helping Ripple to recover to its previous state.

Reasons it has been criticized for not being truly decentralized also, Ripple distribution of the original limited amount of XRP currency has met with a fair amount of controversy too.

We can't predict the future but Ripple team is working hard to get partnerships with Banks and with exchanges which might result Ripple as another fiat money dressed up like crypto. (That's my opinion)

What you guys think of Ripple (XRP) does it have potential to shape the crypto world? Or will be merely another crypto currency?
Can Ripple go back to $3+ again?

If XRP (Ripple) is allowed to use its great power. Actually XRP is capable of doing it all, XRP only needs one knock it out to invite colleagues who are all over the country, XRP is capable of sped faster because XRP is declared as the only legal coin in all banks.

I dont know about, because now many people know about ripple is centralized coins controlled by bank, and so many drama, this make ripple's price goes down. For me i also dont like this coin. We need decentalized coin not centralized coin like ripple. But i hope can recover because many people buy when that price

There is reason to wait and believe it. Prices may be higher than ripple fluctuations. I think we can expect x2 to be safe, x4 if progress is fast. If the market rebounded, the ripple will be based on the user moon x6 this year.

$16 at the end it would be a "simple" x16, which in this world isn't something extraordinary, but due to the market cap I'm not sure that could go so high. Of course having some XRP I wish it could go to such a high price, but I'd be happy with $8 as well Grin

I dont think so this is far far away from the current price of ripple I will be happy if we can see it back to $3 but its hard to recover since this altcoin are controlable by bank and more people not convice with ripple potential.

If you dont do researching you should do it now,because this coin is never a cryptocurrency,it was created by the bankers who wants to regulate the cryotocurrency market,it has the banking structure that is why most of the people opt out this coin for their investments and you should to the same,stay away from this coin if you dont want to lose your money.

Well, everything is real, I think he will be able to take the bar at 4 dolar, but this will clearly be closer to the fall, not earlier than summer, for sure. Now the situation seems to have stabilized, but it still takes time

Stable coin to make charity free for everyone

It shouldnt reached that point again because XRP is being manipulated by the few people who are developing it,centralized coin shouldnt be called as a cryptocurrency because cryptocurrencies should always be decentralized,you shouldnt help those bankers getting billions of dollars out from these newbie investors who arent researching.

i think the real question is when? it will see 3 dollars but i dont believe its soon enough. it can be 1 year to recover i think but not going to enter top 3 in market cap

I guess Ripple will be back on track. But will need more than a year to pass 3$ again, in my opinion. Ripple reputation is badly damage after the last pump and dump.

LOL this is like asking an obvious thing, what a centralized blockchain coin can't do when there's someone have the authorities over the coins lol, much manipulation and much bankers.
If those bunch of people decides a pump time, then it is, so, just wait till the time.

of course it will hit that price again , it's just normal correction after it pumped and got its ATH , just wait until market stabilizes and it will moon .
