Many of the shitcoins have been filtered out. However, ethereum and litecoin have continued development so all that is needed is patience.

What do you mean by filtered out ?  Remove ? Well yes some of them are removed but not totally because until now shit coins are still regaining a dominance over the legit alts  .  and what you are saying tht etherium and litecoin are only contiuing to develop . what about other altcoins ?  There are lots of good alts out there not just eth and ltc  and they are also continue to develop  .

Prices will return but it might not happen this year

Prices are already returning and i believe that they will continue to increase  as the time passes by  .

Not all of them will recover as their owners will abandon the projects leaving you their useless dumped coin while they take away all of your BTC and ETH.  Dont expect too much for altcoins, but watch over the top 1 to 10 crypto coins. BTC, ETH,....

I just visit my wallet now and I find out that many of them are in a bad shape.  Coins like litecoin that went as high as  $300 is now below $40 and ethereum which host many tokens is currently struggling to remain above $100. Most of the tokens that are closed to $1 have lose over 95% of it December value. I think for some of us that invested in some icos especially the services one we are now regretting as many of them has been abandoned by the developers.
If the current trends control I believe about 80% coins and tokens that are listed in coinmarketcap will not be in existence by 2019. I will also want to here your views on this.  Thank.

Generally it depends on the team not giving up on their project, holders holding and not eventually dumping their tokens and moving on and if new people are willing to invest. If these three points are in check, that altcoin will definitely shoot up
Main reason for a successful recovery will be the developers in my opinion. A coin without good developers and if the coin has nothing special I don't see investors buying the coin and instead all holders will sell. A dead coin is dead when the developers stop developing and improving the coin.

Only the projects that has a working product and use case will survive in this battle of cryptocurrencies and erc 20 tokens. I want eliminate those shit tokens  and altcoins .

Exactly, you are right because if a company don't have any working product will lead to losing their value. We are seeing these kinds of project from 2016 losing their value due to there are not active developments from the team, that's why while investing we need to be very careful with the coin and we have to research very carefully.

alot of Erc20 coin got killed last 2018 .
I think it's how the team of the ICO help their token to be notice again . So many Er20 coins got dump and still hopibg for them to recover. Maybe if the Bitcoin starts to pump and then ethereum will be proportional as bitcoin pump . It will help the tokens go rise again
Still not all the coins are going to recover when the price of bitcoin bumps that is why you have to hold the tokens only if it has potential to grow when the market is in good shape.

Eventually most of the exchange continuously eliminating many shuttled tokens from the exchange trading pairs. Here we need better demand over the cryptos but number traders increased they are moving around all the cryptos minute by minute.
If  this happen we will find good price for cryptocurrencies.
Once we can see the price changes on single coin and other coins fluctuate somewhere but nowadays it bump and dump close equally.

Of course, they will be restored, since the problem of the fall in the course of most altcoins is that after collecting funds the project takes time to develop a product, and it is for this that the rate of many examples of altcoins in the market falls a lot.

I am waiting from April by holding few altcoins, luckily I have sold some of them in June and July But for few altcoins I decided to hold till they reach their ICO price. The total amount of that altcoin was 1500$ in May and now they are at 40$. I am about to break my patience. If it does not recover in new two months.
Then, if your altcoin still only $40 in the next 2 months, will you sell it? Does it make sense to sell your token while you already 97% lower than your initial token's value at $1500? Rather than sell it, might be better to HOLD and forget about your token for long time

I would not worry too much about Ethereum, it's a good platform, frequently used and accepted. Maybe ETH suffered because of the countless scam ICOs which lead to lost trust but this won't affect ETH as a platform longterm.
LTC is far more concerning, the founder dumped all his coins in late 2017 and it's always a negative sign if the founder does such things. Imagine if Satoshi would dump all his coins. I would not invest in LTC anymore.

I agree, many shitcoins will go down near zero, but others will rise. It's up to you to pick the few rising projects, this will be most of the big ones but maybe there are some we don't know yet.  Smiley

No one can know. Therefore, it remains only to observe the information and follow the news. But I still hope for the best and I think that the course will be the same, for example, ethereum is growing

Agree with you, may be even more coins will go away. And only with real use cases and products will remain. I think more regulations will be in 2019 and exchanges will be delisting coins to save themselves. Interesting time )

not only do you feel all the altcoins are down, but I also feel the same way now in the wallet there are only a few dollars left, if I just wait for the beginning of the year waiting for good news, because I'm sure altcoin prices like eth will be as stable as before

Well, what did you expect? Yes, indeed, many Altcoins have fallen in price, but you need to understand that this is a temporary phenomenon, because remember how it all began then cryptocurrency was not even considered an asset, but then everything changed so much now

I do not really expect high in the current situation, I just surrender, all my asset values dropped dramatically and I also realized that all of this was not only me who felt, it was clear I still believed in crypto world.
