Bitcoin has been announced since the day it was invented, and it will be suppressed by governments in the future and declared illegal currency. I think we shouldn't fear governments banning Bitcoin anymore. It was the thing of the past. Governments and regulators are looking for ways to regulate it. They are looking for ways to use crypto in a positive way instead of outright banning it which will eliminates all of its potential.
