Bitcoin yet to decentralised cryptocurrency, if any government think that this type of currency threatened their economical activity and can used for crime then they can ban bitcoin for exchange officially not any government can ban bitcoin for privately used.
Banning bitcoin will be possible to be happen because government always think that this transaction is a scam and can make chaos to everyone. It will be ban by the government if ever they dont know what really bitcoin is and how it really helps many people for their living. Government will ban bitcoin because they always think negative about bitcoin and that was makes them wrong.
It is almost impossible for the government to ban bitcoin completely. bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency which uses the internet to perform a transaction. I think the government is smart enough to understand how bitcoin works and provide the proper way to treat bitcoin than trying to ban it which is not possible at some point. If you take for example China, the government there, already banned bitcoin but the people in China are still using bitcoin in the other way around.

I believe government is not trying to ban bitcoin but to gain control over the price and use. Not only bitcoin but all other altcoins, to reduce fraud and money laundering. In this process posing a challenge to bitcoin to improve it use and transaction speed/fee. The crytocurrency will improve with time and hope the Lightning network will be an advantage

Cryptocurrencies have firmly entered our life and now nothing can change with simple prohibitions. The state will have to regulate this new industry and try to generate revenue from it. Therefore, it is precisely the correct regulation of the cryptomarket that will become the basis for the growth of the price of not only Bitcoin, but also other alternative coins. So government will not  ban bitocoin.

I think so.
But it is for their own purposes not for the people of their country.
Bitcoin can make the life of every human to much easier and faster. No more lines in paying bills and other stuffs.
Japan did it, then why not with other countries.
If the joke of stepping in the monetary system is their reason then it is a hell of a joke to be laughed with. Tradition will stay but we also need to push it up for change.

you made again this threads so many topic about government bitcoin ban, i will recommend to you my friend before you make a new thread make sure there nothing the same. some government want to ban crypto because they to regulate bitcoin as currency there's only one reason i can seen on that issue, because government want to collect taxes from crypto's.
Yes sir you are right there are a lot of countries who want to make bitcoin regulate because bitcoin is the only currency which is helping countries in their economy so I think if we support bitcoin so it will bring revaluation around the world although some countries are against bitcoin but still bitcoin is very strong and popular in market and some countries they have accepted bitcoin and want to make it legal.

Bitcoin has been announced since the day it was invented, and it will be suppressed by governments in the future and declared illegal currency. Is the basis, the further development of the currency will be in the interests of the threat to traditional monetary and ruler, not the rights to cryptography currency once governments announced that the currency is illegal, its price will produce volatile in the short term, and may even crash. At the same time, the government will force the bitcoin exchange to be shut down, so that bitcoin can only be sold in private, and its exchange capacity will be badly hit. Will the government ban bitcoin?
Governments only enacted laws to tax bitcoins. Governments will soon join the crypto market if they wantn't to be eliminated
By trying to regulate the sale and purchase of bitcoins means that the governments are really getting something good out of Bitcoins, otherwise they would have shut it down already and though the initially claim that they want to ban it, They have found out regulating it is the best option here.

Yes it is possible that government will ban bitcoin but it depends on how we people will handle it and on how we use it
Some government have already banned bitcoin but i think their people still manage to use bitcoin, in my country the State banks has turn bitcoin trading as illegal but still people continue trading bitcoin, i am hopeful that in respect of the increasing interest of the people in bitcoin government will very soon change their decision and will hopefully turn bitcoin as legal currency.

I think not, bitcoin has short-term and long-term value, so in my opinion in the future, the government will not ban bitcoin

today we see higher bitcoin spreading, so the government will be scared and worried if the national currency can be replaced by crypto currency.

then, the government seems will using blockchain technology for surviving their existention. so impossible they ban bitcoin.

maybe the government will manage and control bitcoin well in future. like taking the tax from the owners bitcoin.

The govenrment is reliable in doing such work, but why would the government ban such thing that could make the people its conquering productive. we should really put our eyes on simple logics on how bitcoin is a great thing.

I think NO, because there is no such country would ban bitcoin that some business investor using it. What i think is that the government will find ways how to collect tax by the users of bitcoin. They probably legalize it in-order to collect tax by lawful means.

I understand what you are saying, the thing is that this is actually starting the government is starting to getting control with bitcoin because they want to control the flow of bitcoin but I don't think that they will ban bitcoin because they can also benefit from it and earn from it. In the future for sure, they will also make their own coin but in this case, they can take advantage of it and they can also earn from it while they are controlling it.

Government only wants to ban bitcoin because they think bitcoin is used in doing illegal things/transactions like buying illegal drugs, but I don't think government can totally ban it. There are lot of users who benefit from bitcoin and I think this advantage of bitcoin will be considered by governments to stop banning and will be the reason to not ban bitcoin at all.

It depends on the situation, maybe if bitcoin is being used in bad things or used in doing such criminal things then the government would probably ban bitcoin. Bitcoin is very powerful and it can be used as the money to be used in buying such things and when the point comes that bitcoin is being used in underground stores which sells illegal guns and drugs, government will start to ban and destroy bitcoin. We all know that government is the one who controls and rules all over a country, and whenever bad things happen, they will be the one to control it.

There are many speculations about cryptocurrency introduce to the government. One I heard is, they will ask for a tax or else it will be illegal and this might end the transaction of bitcoiners meaning to say it will be ban. Thus, these speculations are not  yet proven since it doesn't affect the market yet and it is just a hear says. If ever that this speculation happened, we might probably earn lesser amount than the usual value we are expecting since 12% has a big impact to the present value of bitcoin and it will allow the government to get their income for many planned projects which I hope is a legit project for the country.

Even for now, bitcoin is too big to fail. Some governments also have already joined into the cryptocurrency. As you mentioned, exchanges have become some governemtns' targets time and time again and it's a valid point. But, there are projects about decentralized exchange. Once it's established and there's no loss of users' trust on bitcoin, bitcoin will become more resistant to government interventions.

I think there is a little possibilities because I believe that the governments all over the world don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin so that they didn't know what is the good thing about it.Also they don't have any reason to ban it because it gives a source of income to the unemployed people.

I think governments will embrace and accept it for the most part. I'm sure they have realized banning things are counter-productive in the past.
I believe that government will not going to ban Bitcoin, I think they will accept it after a long period of time. Government officials have no control to it but it will never be enough reason to ban Bitcoin.

I also think so. If the government will only give chance to understand the bitcoin for sure they will know how good is bitcoin. They will look the advantages and disadvantages of the bitcoin regulation and all there worries for bitcoin  can be solve.
