Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

Governments control fiat currencies. They use central banks to issue or destroy money out of thin air, using what is known as monetary policy to exert economic influence. They also dictate how fiat currencies can be transferred, enabling them to track currency movement, dictate who profits from that movement, collect taxes on it, and trace criminal activity. All of this control is lost when non-government bodies create their own currencies.

It will be a continuous fight to get digital forms of money acknowledged by governments, albeit some are more ground breaking than others. It doesn't enable that new cryptographic forms of money to hit the business sectors consistently, most will vanish, some might be valuable for a small segment of the populace and a couple will wind up with the lion's offer. Control will start things out, trailed by 99% of digital currencies crumbling and only a couple of key players left standing. Not an awful thing for the eventual fate of digital money as I would like to think, and it will be a while before it happens, so still time to make a couple of weave.

Some countries will abandon cryptocurrencies and they have all the reasons. I think if in a few years cryptocurrencies can become more stable, then maybe some countries will lift the ban.

I don’t think that there is any need to kill crypto. If the crypto community will only grow then there is no chance to kill it. The only way might happen that governments will take them under control. If we will begin to use the coins in every day living, they’ll need to be tax payed.

Governments in their entirety do not seek to adopt crypto currencies, since decentralization facilitates the free flow of capital, which most governments in the world dislike.

I suppose it is quite possible in conservative countries. Crypto is the new way for earning money and it can be recognised as a danger for the country.

I read crypto news daily the chance that government will support cryptocurrency is high, i don't think they would want to kill a wonderful innovation like blockchain technology.

I think that many countries will eventually adopt laws in which they will simply limit the use of cryptocurrency, but they will not prohibit them.

no government ever can kill cryptocurrencies it is not possible to kill cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are built on decentralized network no governments an stop it just like internet

I think that government can find more easy way to block cryptocurrency, but main question "Why do they want to do this"?

I think, after some time the government will stop fighting with decentralization and recognize its benefits in many areas.  After a few years, cryptocurrencies will be used in most developed countries of the world and they will become familiar to most people. Therefore, you should not worry about temporary difficulties and you can be sure of a bright future of cryptocurrencies.
Indeed, cryptocurrency will be recognized by most of the developed countries and due to its positive impact to the growing economy. We couldn't prevent those who worry about the current struggles that we've been experiencing right now. Government will not kill, but rather adopt the opportunity which has more people been benefited of.

Your prediction is beyond optimistic. IMO Governments are not so open minded and usually are afraid of new things especially when they cannot control it.

Individual country has different level of education to its people about investment. Perhaps in a country whose populace are accustomed to stocks, it will be able to accept cryptocurrency as another option of an investment instrument. But in other countries, this crypto phenomenon is considered a bubble and the government bans on the grounds to protect people from extreme levels of changes.

I think that the fight against cryptocurrencies is likely to continue for some time, but most likely the cryptocurrencies will win, since no one wants to miss such a great opportunity to earn.

Many countries are now embracing cryptocurrencies and are accepting it as a means of payment. The only that scares them about crypto is the tax, that is why some are banning it because they can't monitor users in their country who are engaged in cryptos.

I think the fate of cryptocurrency depends on the community, if we try to make the government know how beneficial crypto is and the opportunities behind it, i believe they'll change for better.

Yes they may try to kill cryptocurrency because they're powerful, but what I do understand is that any country that didn't accept crypto technology will definitely Lagg behind in terms of advanced system.

Ideally, the government is all about the welfare of its people. Whereas, many countries have people in third government that plays their selfish gains into Politics. If in the long run, it will pay them, they embrace, but if not, they will by all means and power within their reach kick against it.
