I think there are still many uncertainties in the market, if I were you, I would rather observing the market for a few more time and would not do any trading during this period

Unless we see a strong push in the next few days Bitcoin price will most probably drop below $5,500.

I see the current price of Bitcoin is still down. Are there any predictions until the end of 2018?

It will fall. But it will also rise higher. It shouldn't matter if you are going for the long term otherwise it might be a problem to you. The market never has been certain... it's just very volatile so you gotta be prepared for anything. It's going down right now but that's normal.

I think you're posting this in the wrong board. So move this topic to the Bitcoin discussion board, without starting another Mega Thread in B&H section.

sorry if my post is wrong on the board. I'm just a newbie, I just want to ask questions and add knowledge. do not understand this matter. I will fix it. Thank you for reminding me

the price will go up or down!  Grin
look at this: https://www.turtlebc.com/tools/buy_percentage?period=3years

surely noone can tell you what to do, you must make your own decisions or you'll sooner or later lose your money. in general, btc will definitely go up, and some people say due to this "mining cost" that it won't drop below $5800.

thank you for your advice. for the price of 5800 usd we have to be careful huh? or is it just a possibility of going down? maybe you mean we have to be swift in dealing with prices when going down or up.

The state of the cryptocurrency markets is a perfect mirror to what the private bankers did in the 1910's and 1920's.

They crash the markets over and over again to buy up larger and larger stakes in the business' in order to gain control over the entire industry. Don't be fooled by the obvious manipulation, blockchain technologies are being adopted and used at an ever increasing rate across hundreds of industries and thousands of companies.

It doesn't matter.

If you are in it for the long term - the price now is a drop in the bucket.     Invest what you can afford to lose, then sit on your hands.   Don't worry about short term price movement.

Now, if you are looking for small short term profits -  personally I'd hold off a bit and see what happens.

Bitcoin has continued to fall, but it is still lucky compared to other cryptocurrencies, you can see that ETH has fallen below $300!
Everything is down almost 20% since yesterday. We may still have a lot of volatility waiting for SEC news in September. After following the result, it's big fall or big push.
But by then be careful!

Of course the price could still fall lower to $5k or somewhere in that region but who can predict that?
Just don't panic and sell your lovely bitcoins, I'd rather buy even more right now when they're cheap in smaller portions.
In other words: buy red sell green

No one can guess what will happen with bitcoin now. It's still in the support zone, if you already have bitcoin now, just hold, don't sell because bitcoin can approach up trend next time.

Buy, sell or hold? I will answer to keep the coin at this point to see how price action evolves compared to the price points mentioned above.

My best advice, if you buy, HODL.
Its not easy, its not possible sometimes, but as bitcoin history showed us already many many times, those who HODL are those who WIN.

Will you be able to? Most aren't.

Today, the market has started to fall rapidly again. I still don't know what caused it. Bitcoin fell more than 12% in a week. This is a terrible change!

No one can say what is going to happen.
So do your own research. But don't do your research by asking the people for their opinion. Cheesy
I mean technical research

1. The market has been uncertain since before.

2. Think wisely in a way that you don't include your emotion with whatever your decision is.

3. Sell if you are ready to stop your losses but hold if you can last and take it while looking at your bleeding portfolio.

there's a huge wall at around $5800 so it's slightly unlikely to go lower than $5800 short-term.

Agreed here. At 5800 there is strong support. I think that if we break this level, then we will drop to 5000 easily imo. As it was said earlier, I'm also not an expert in trading.

Definitely. Same thought. I have some stop offers set up at around 5750 just if ever it goes below that. But then again. I could be wrong.
