I do not think that bitcoin will continue to grow very long. It should be taken into account that the higher the bitcoin price, the more difficult it will be to invest in it people with low and even average incomes. Therefore, the price growth of bitcoins should slow down over time. If the bulk of the population stops investing in it, the richer people can also be cautious in this regard. The further course of events is unpredictable.

It should increase its value with no cap because only 21 million coins will ever be in existence. Once the 21 million coins have been mined, and more people buy bitcoin, the supply is stagnant but the demand will ever increase, thus the increase in price for bitcoin should happen.

If the current trend continues  and bitcoin survives harsh ecosphere then up till 2042 no of bitcoins circulating will reach there limit value. At that time there will be a boost in its price for some time then it reach a stable value and will stay there with very small volatility like dollar or other currencies.

btc is  the strongest and oldest coin. something huge should happen to affect the increasing of its price. the probability exists anyway, as always, but I dont think so. it'll increase.  Wink

I think it will one day have a very large value that will stay around 1-10 million per coin but eventually after all coins are mined people can loose coins here and there so the value will eventually go up more as bitcoin becomes scarce

Bitcoin increase is not forever because as we all notice, bitcoin price is not stable sometimes high sometime the value of it drops but if that well happen that bitcoin increase forever, then I would rather invest all my asset here in bitcoin and wait for a couple of years  then exchange it into cash to get rich easily rather than investing in bank that youll only get few profit so it is better to choose to invest in bitcoin than anything else because bitcoin as of now is really om demand and no one else can defeat bitcoin so choose bitcoin in order for you to be able to have a brighter future.

Bitcoin will go up until it’s not going up any more, then it will go down. One thing is certain, no currency or medium of exchange in recorded history has had its value sit still.

The price of bitcoin will keep on increasing so long as there are demands in the crypto market. On a daily basis there are more people coming into crypto currencies and investing into bitcoin which is making the demand of bitcoin more.

Nothing lasts forever. Tough to predict when it burst or stabilize.

When I get to the point where it will stabilize with the price I believe that the ups and downs will be very small and even then we will still be able to negotiate it, no matter how small the negotiated fraction.

Since the total number of bitcoin is fixed, so the value of bitcoin will keep grow, and it's price will keep grow also. So will there a price cap for bitcoin?

it hard to explained and to predict the bitcoin price its either continue to increase or have time to falling dump the reason on my opinion as decentralized currency bitcoin can't control the price value nobody can say about bitcoin price in the future.

As described in one of the quote, there is nothing termed of eternal growth and with anything there will be updates and downs. In similar manner bitcoin too will experience price drops, it's better to be have positive trust upon the growth. For an newbie it'll be hard to believe, but the growth is real.

There is no such thing as ''eternal growth''.
Everything depends on supply and demand.
So far, we have witnessed a great growth of bitcoins, but also big drops, for example from $ 5000 to $ 3000 recently.
Although now things look great with bitcoin, be careful and wise.
Nothing is forever.

Since the total number of bitcoin is fixed, so the value of bitcoin will keep grow, and it's price will keep grow also. So will there a price cap for bitcoin?

I know bitcoins are limited, but don't forget there is a halve in the reward miners get every four years (the next one is 2020), so with these halves and with the increase in difficulty, we will not see bitcoin hitting it's cap anytime soon. At least I wont see it in my lifetime for sure. Given this, the price of bitcoin should keep growing as long as the demand is larger than the supply. Once both things get stable, then we should see the price getting some stability as well. Also don't forget that there could be a point where BTC just gets to expensive, regardless if the bitcoins ar all mined or not. When this happens, we should also get a lot of stability in it's price. I guess this could happen probably in 5 to 10 years, and this is when the bitcoins will get interesting, because we will be able to use them as a alternate payment method.

Not for a lifetime to increase the price of bitcoins. Still the chance is that bitcoins will fall. So now we have to reap what we planted and to replant in the rainy season so that when it is sunny again we can harvest it. In other words, we have withdrawn our bitcoins and wait for it to fall again to buy a cheap amount. In trading buy low and sell high. Well, timing is what you need here.

As of now, there are as yet a large number of bitcoin to be mined in this manner it isn't "settled" in light of your thought. I think there is no such thing as price cap of bitcoin. The cost will keep knocking all over yet heading through the north. The majority of the general population these days still no or little thought regarding the bitcoin, we could state that it is still in beginning time and an enormous potential price climb could happen.
