Its hard to say on the % of people. Since I dont see any graph chat that can allocated what type of transaction is spent for unless it was labeled.

But most of the transactions till this day has been known for gambling then spending it at some store at starbucks.

Yes very well said . Bitcoin will not be totally used by the USA as a currency they are just using it as a currenly through online transaction but it will never be replace US dollars because it is a international currency and it is used all over the globe .

It's highly unlikey. Bitcoin offers a decentralized system, and a centralized system such as the government would do anything in their power to promote a hierarchy rather than providing a decentralized system.
It's all about Monopoly at the end of the day, and the government won't lose theirs so easily.
Over a period of time, things may change, as of now, in my opinion, it's a difficult cause.

I think the whole world will use bitcoins. This currency will be the world currency very soon ... It will be a source of imports and exports of the countries ... If this happens (I hope it happens) I'm already packing for early holiday hahahaha Wink

I'm not sure, if the news is right, the US government will adopt bitcoin next year as currency.

it's too fast. I think they should talk about this in a long enough time before considering whether it's accepted or not.

USA never circulates bitcoin as a currency. In my opinion I have seen many people describing it as a token than a currency.

In my opinion for this kiind of matters the only important thing is to follow the money. Actually the Us are "exporting" their debt to foreign countries. Why would they give up on this kind of free money ?
IMO they will not do much against it (it would be perceived as weakness or like a confession that something is a real threat to their economy, but they will not encourage it in my way.

bitcoin price is based on dollars so i think USA is already using it as a currency . here in my country it is now being used as a currency but in some stores only and it is mostly used for online shopping . we still need to convert it to cash before we use it for real .

You can't claim that a currency which is being actively used by a few tens of thousands of individuals is a world currency. As a matter of fact, the Bhutanese ngultrum and the Surinamese dollar are more popular than the Bitcoin. I think they are already using bitcoin just like here in my country they are now using bitcoin and put some rules and regulation. also they are need government identity before you can withdraw. and i hope we the same as in usa..
