That may not happen now but in future this may play out. Some players may have desired to be pay in bitcoin now but there could not express such desired because of the way they pay master may look at it. I have been thinking along with what you have said but it should be futuristic as now our governments see bitcoin as enemy. If you look at the rates most of the footballers are collecting they pay if that can be convert to bitcoin payment we would definitely going to see bitcoin in the moon as this is going to publish bitcoin to maintream media's.
This is known as day dreaming Cheesy Bitcoin is only good to be kept as a secondary payment system, it cannot be a primary payment system ever. Government is not implementing it because there are think-tank with government who measure things into broad sense. People emotionally most of the time thinks individually only to the shorter period.
Everyone talk about football player getting high packages so, why will a player ask to be paid in a currency which don’t have the ability to remain stable. What if government ban it in future like china did? The moon price will go underground in less than 24 hours.

Football players are only seeking money and honestly they need that because the day they stop playing they don't have any other source of money except if they do publicity for some brands or start a coaching career , but most of them end up just spending from the money they gathered during their football career , those guys don't even have retirement checks so they need every penny they could get when they are on teams .

And transfers between teams is the most fruitful activity for them because they get large percentages of those deals between teams especially if they played well in their last seasons , and risking those transfers by getting paid in bitcoin isn't something that most players would agree to i guess because you never now if that money will persist , in addition they'll have to pay tax to the government whenever they transfer and paying in bitcoin isn't acceptable by most of the countries so that's why i don't think the'll ever be transfers paid in bitcoin.

i don't think it will happen because the price of bitcoin that always changed every minutes. Players transfer is involved a really big amount of money and bitcoin is good actually to become as the payment. Maybe when bitcoin become popular someday, players transfer will be paid with bitcoins.

I guess, for player transfer is not. Just imagine, for example saga transfer neymar from barcelona to psg in pay with bitcoin, but when the process of bitcoin delivery, it was hacked by hackers. That would be very dangerous and a bit funny in my opinion  Grin
for transfer saga which is a lot of money involved then i'm pretty sure the process will more secure but indeed transfer players use bitcoin as the payment is hard to be realize and risky also transfer fee for bitcoin is pretty high now so probably the clubs will think twice to use bitcoin for buying the players

There are rules that must be met in the transfer of players especially in Europe. Not just an agreement between player and the club only. And as today there are still many parties being nervous with bitcoin, player's transfer with bitcoin will remain as a discourse.

From one summer to the next one,  the price of the players is multiplied as well as the highest player's price in the history, at least by 2 times. As a result, due to the permanent elevation of the prices of players , and due to the new emerging laws in our sports which is : money is every things !
Could we see some deals paid  in bitcoin ?

As long as a certain player has an idea with bitcoin then I guess it would be possible to see this kind of scenario in the future, if he do not want to hold bitcoin then he can easily exchange it for fiat then cash out, what's important is the value, they have already invested in themselves because they have the skills that gives them money, so money is the most important to them and bitcoin is money.

The possibility of that is something not likely at this point only when government fully accepts bitcoin as a form of legal tender. The reason for that is because for those record breaking deals for players, a lot of eyes is already on that money and not all will even go into the players personal account. Taxes will be paid which is a sure one. Today we have heard cases of players being sued for tax related offences which could land them in jail if taken to the extreme and this is still the case of being paid in fiat imagine what would happen to a player career if he choose and get paid in bitcoin. The only thing is just to send him to prison straight.

Buy The F*cking Dip
The idea of it is quite good for us and for the Bitcoin community but I think that is still far from happening, at least, with the current state of how players are being paid. There's a high chance that management handling these players are only focused in upbringing their teams and would likely never heard or know very little about Bitcoin. Their main business right now is still revolving around fiat and they probably don't have any rules regarding BTC payment for players. It is still possible in the future but not in the very near one.

Sinbad Mixer: Mix Your BTC Quickly
I am sure that future betting is going to be with bitcoin. As a matter of fact, it will be much more fun because the value of bitcoin is always changing. For example, let's say I bet on 0.01btc which is 150$, and my friends did the same (assuming we are 4 players, thus 0.01 per each).

And let's say I won those 0.04btc which is worth 450$ and I saved them. Later on, the price increased. It would be very profitable for me. That is why it is really fun and exciting.

The way in which adoption of bitcoin and crypto currency in general is going I have a strong believe that in the nearest future such payment will be paid in bitcoin and will no longer be paid in Dollars, pounce or other fiat currency as usual.

yes I think in the near future we can see players are to be paid in bitcoin especially when it become legal in all countries. With the continuous progress of bitcoin many will want to be paid in bitcoin because of its increasing purchasing power.
Football players are paid very high, in millions in every currency, why would they risk so much money with bitcoins? If they wish they can buy some and invest in many altcoins, but do they care about that at all? They have their stuff who take care of finance's.
Probably main problem is legality of bitcoin, if bitcoin is not legal how can someone be paid in bitcoins and pay all the taxes, it would be really tricky . We will see player transfers when bitcoin become much more regulated then it is now.

Payment Gateway Allows Recurring Payments
It's very possible, contracts that will be paid in bitcoin is now going to be on trend. But it's up to the players if they are willing of accepting it so. I don't know if what I read was right that Messi is with bitcoin and it's up to their teams on how they will rely on it. There are some things to be fixed first like taxation and on how they are going to deal with it but in the future we might see it on news that a player accepted a contract through bitcoin.

Could we see some deals paid  in bitcoin ?

I believe that at the current bitcoin scenerio, it is going to have some law problems, as it is impossible to pay taxes with bitcoin, and paying tax on a player transfer is a must.

Anyway, I believe that if a serious player will insist that he wants his transfer to be done in bitcoins, he is going to get it, and the team who bought him will take care of all the problems that may appeal.

If bitcoin is going to become mainstream anytime soon, and is going to be considered as a legal money, then I guess that we will see a large amount of players getting paid in bitcoins( if it will be considered as a regular money, then they are actually getting paid in money, not in a virtual currency).

If any club wants to make transfer in bitcoin for players than they can easily do this as there are many third party payment processors which can easily convert bitcoin received to directly bank account.

But they might find it just as another stunt rather than a practical way to make transfers, they will not care until bitcoin will be 1 million $ per coin.  Grin

No as of now it's not even possible, there is a growing clamor to ban Bitcoins, UK and EU are pushing to regulate it, or impose further restrictions on it. So as of now it's really difficult to see how this would even function. What could happen and who knows if it happens, players could be accepting Bitcoin and under the guise of she'll companies hiding it, that's a possibility but official Bitcoin transfer are not happening now or future, unless some major law changes happen.
This is one of the things why it cant be accepted knowing that those countries do already have negative impressions into bitcoin which means it lessens the possibilities for this thing to be considered. This is why i wont really be surprised if they do deny it on the very first place and as most people said on here managers and even those players wont really plan to accept their salaries on bitcoin form because of its volatility and not having a fixed price.
