There will definitely be a massive drop in 2018 due to market corrective forces and the natural cycle of bitcoin but i cant say where it will start or end.
I can relate to the OP. As the FUD created on Christmas time is really extreme that is cost Bitcoin to go down from 20,000$ to around 12,000$ not only that as the traders are now exploring other options to create their money they have shifted their money to other cryptocurrency available in the market and that is of course Ripple as it has tripled its value in a month at the same time has overtaken Ethereum in terms of market cap.
But as a Trader I am not angry on what is happening to Bitcoin instead I will go to what asset can make my capital grow, right now I am not using Bitcoin as a currency but as an investment vehicle to earn money.

Well who knows, we don't now if bitcoin will last for a long time but I guess bitcoin will run for a long time as long as we are here and more adoption of people. Bitcoin is now holding the most vital position in the world economy, so its price catch everybody fancy. Yep, bitcoin will always survive. Through its notorious volatile, we can keep patient and trust on its price, because if it falls, it can also goes up again and sometimes it gets a leveling out. When I invest btc, I realize that giving a trust on it and keeping patient is better off . That is unlikely to happen, judging by Lightning network should be implemented in 2018 and the mainstream started to have an attention on Bitcoin, I'm sure this year is a lot more interesting for cryptocurrencies scenes. Don't forget if you look at a bigger picture, Bitcoin has just started the first stage of movement, we can see over the past year Bitcoin is only consolidating and then its break the consolidation period in 2017, So, I believe its really good for Bitcoin in the upcoming years.
Shit man there is no way to fall btc ok . if hold btc then just wait and see btc where it go . btw its a digital currency and its have a price correction too so i f u have any doubt dew to price fall then u can leave it . still i am positive about btc .
I do believe in your opinion, Even the value of bitcoins might fall down in 2018, It does not mean that it is a bad thing for us because we can still invest on bitcoins while the value is low and we should just think of it as a good thing to earn more profit in the next few months to come.
Yes, the value will fall, and not only the correction is the cause for it, also the pump and dump and again pump game is very much happening at this high value. Sp yeah, obviously it will fall, but I hope it won't effect the long term investor.

I began to fear seeing bitcoin prices slowly falling. I really hope bitcoin will continue to increase in 2018 but at the moment bitcoin has not experienced price increases.
Just hold your BTC for a little further. Predictions says it will rise and its price will be stable soon.

Bitcoin will exist for a long time whether it's completely mined or facing political pressures by the government. I think it's not that bitcoin prices have dropped yet, but as investors in bitcoin will increase their prices but it will not go down soon when there is no good reason for bitcoin and why it will fall lower but look at it I will lower the price because they prefer the ripple now and ethereum, it is rising and their price rises.

As everyone knows that ripple is a banking sector coin and that was surity that banking sector makes lots of transaction of money from.one country to another so they needed for it to use ripple and that was the result that we seen .
Well here we should go with the trend that what the most activity is associated and with which coin and participate and make money with them .
Bitcoin up and down, but who cares? Every single time Bitcoin down it will be up even higher later. So the best is to hold.
