I would glad to receive bitcoin as my salary. I love bitcoins and it values a lot. But I don't think any company will agree to offer bitcoin as salary. Sad

Yes, I am willing to accept Bitcoin as my salary, it is kind of cool too when your employer pay you in Bitcoin Cheesy
No, it is your salary its not about bitcoin being cool when you are paid by your employer with it. Its about the real amount you will get when you will use it in your daily life. Think of it this way when you sacrifice fiat you accept the volatility you will face with Bitcoin which is honestly will greatly affect your way of living both good and bad way. Just to stay safe I would rather accept fiat.

It all depends on what kind of accommodation are being made by my employer to give me my salary in Bitcoin and whether or not I felt like the market was stable at the time and worth having going for me. Chances are I would accept a portion of my salary in bitcoin, something like 1/5th or 1/6th, but I wouldn't want my entire salary to be in Bitcoin because of the fluctuations that do happen. There might be some weeks where I really need the money, and I don't want that to be one of the weeks the markets dips.

Well that depends, would you receive a flat rate of btc each month or the btc-equivalent of a certain amount of fiat. In a perfect situation for me, I'd receive the majority of my salary in fiat for daily expenses and a percentage in btc to avoid the exchange hassle.

I would never accept payment of salary that could change before I had the chance to exchange it.

Exchange it, why would you even mention about receiving your salary in bitcoin if you're just going to convert it back to fiat, make no sense.

Unless you get paid in the $100k plus bracket the price fluctuation in bitcoin has very little effect on how much you receive in your pay, the amount of bitcoin you will receive will be equivalent to the value of btc at the time of conversion.

Even a $50 change in the bitcoin price, which is big these days has would have only a small effect on the amount you would receive.

Let's say you get $500 usd in fiat each week, at $650 per coin you would receive BTC0.76923, at $700 per coin you will receive BTC0.714288 - a difference of BTC0.054942 or about $35 usd.

You should not because bitcoins price is not stable it keeps increasing and decreasing so you may lose yor money when get salary in bitcoins.

Exactly because its not stable.
The risk is not because of the stability of bitcoin is possible, but this is still a temporary phenomenon. Bitcoin is needed for the future rather than today. It is worth to think about future income.

Of course, if I offered to be paid in bitcoin, I will not give up, because it is certain prospects and opportunities.

I would not refuse to pay in cryptocurrency. All the same, I buy it for the money received from the steady-state operation. It would be nice if the company paid to the choice of the employee or Bitcoins or dollars
Anyway you buy bitcoin for the future, in the hope that its price will rise. Of course, it will happen, but it is doubtful that the company will pay in bitcoin or dollars if they complicate a cheaper currency.
I think that bitcoin is a business to earn more than a dollar. That's the math.

Perhaps when there will be another drop bitcoin, some offices will be able to receive salaries on offer bitcoin. And this I say not a bad option. Judging by the growth in popularity cryptocurrency, demand is stable.

At the current state of Bitcoin, I would not accept my complete salary in Bitcoin. But I would accept 10 or 15%. When Bitcoin is settled down in mainstream then I would also accept 100%.
I have such a small salary, if it translated into bitcoin, then there is nothing left at all.
If some part of getting into bitcoin, it is possible to keep the coins to make a profit in the future. Probably the best option in the half, but it's great if the salary. And if small, then there's not happened does not make sense.
