As of now.. no.
1) there is not enough vendors accepting bitcoin as payment so i'd have to go through the trouble of exchanging to fiat.

If it's stable against the US dollar, why not? But if it's fluctuating especially on a descending trend I wouldn't accept to be paid in bitcoins.

If given the opportunity I would happily accept half of my salary in bitcoins and save them but accepting whole salary as btc wont help as I would have to sell halfof them to manage my living.
