Could be. If that future will stabilize the price. That is the most important thing when working for money right? A stable income. Is bitcoin stable? No, it moves more than US dollar. If $ can make a wave in its price then bitcoin can create a larger one. Its number is limited so it can be manipulatred by a person who is owning a lot of it.

As long as I have some form of insurance against the fluctuations of the value of Bitcoin, I would gladly take all of my salary in Bitcoin. If I don't have any form of insurance, I would still take a portion of my salary in Bitcoin, but it would be substantially less than what I would if I had some insurance. Maybe 10-15% would be something I'm comfortable with, but I have no idea.

Exactly, that is the biggest problem with bitcoin as you never know what price it will hold in future so if we start accepting salary in bitcoins and if price drops then it will also reduce our monthly income.

and if price goes up you are the big winner. and as most of the user here expect the price to go up this should be a good chance. also why not agree on a fix dollar salary and adjust the bitcoin amount every payout? this is not hard to realize.

Well, that would help a lot when you spend regularly online, but I doubts others would follow that kind of mentality of yours, I think they are more concern on the value of their money rather than the opportunity to transact online, there problem is the price fluctuation which makes the value of their salary also fluctuate.

And how will you spend it friend ? Its good to know that you are ready to accept bitcoins as payment but the biggest problem for people like me is that we cannot use the bitcoins at any stores or shops located near my house. Apart from online I can't think of place where i can use bitcoins and thats the problem Sad

Yes that woud be a great factor to consider if they will offer bitcoin as your salary if the price is stable. Otherwise, employees would still prefer the cash as their salary. And also make sure that everytime your bitcoin salary will turn to cash it should be free.

Neither price will be stable nor you would be able to convert it for free, you need to pay transaction cost to the trader, as of now its not free in my country and I am not aware about the scenarios in other countries.

If price is in 4 digits and if it is stable then it would be great to accept salary in bitcoins, but as of now I will not prefer to accept salary in bitcoins as price is not too high and it will not give me steady income too.

Furthermore, there are a lot of online stores that accepted bitcoin as payment that you can shopping spree there.

Mate what will you do if price of bitcoins falls to $200 in coming future? Will you still accept your salary in bitcoins and if you are going to convert it to fiat for spending then what is the use of getting paid in bitcoins.

I think that I would accept bitcoin as part of my salary. Bitcoin has many advantages, it's also in demand now. And you can save the bitcoins in your wallet, that means no need to go to banks.

I will never expect my salary in bitcoins as I cannot spend it anywhere and if I have to spend then I need to convert it to fiat first, so I will prefer to have my salary only in fiat.

Yes in future we will find many merchants who will start accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and we are moving slowly towards it and scenario will change in future for sure.

Hopefully this will happen in the soonest time. Im worry that bitcoin may become unpopular one day and failed to the field of merchant adoption in local area. We all know bitcoin needs internet and most local merchant don't have access to internet. Especially in supermarket or small convinient stores.

This thing sir for me would only happens if so we are going to be less active in this industry. We should not stop promoting how good bitcoin is to encourage more users and more investors and miners to work for bitcoin industry.

Yeah it difference how they are dealing with and how much they pay if we accept bitcoin as salary compare to fiat..
If they are giving good in bitcoin well it is good to accept bitcoin as salary..

Why would any companie paying anyon who earn 900 dollars, with 100 dollars in bitcoin? It makes no sense at all, the big issue, besides not being able to spend those bitcoins as most places, besides the card solution, we would be forced to exchange the bitcoins into fiat, loosing on the first moment 5-20% of the salaire to fees.

Exactly its pointless to accept salary in bitcoins as we cannot use it anywhere and finally we are going to exchange it to fiat to spend them, so it will not be profitable to accept salary in bitcoins.
