I would accept it in a near future. A lot of things can be easier that way, given the fact that is really easy to send and receive money using Bitcoin, and the fees are very low, indeed.

We can think of accepting it in future but it will also depend on the price of bitcoin at that point of time, if price is higher then it can be affordable but it can be risky if price goes the other way.

Sounds great idea, but I don't think now is the right time for this. Maybe later, when bitcoin gets wider adoption.

yeah probably would be a good idea to accept bitcoin bitcoin while already popular and mainstream, and we can use the direct bitcoin to shop?

The use of bitcoin may change things a lot in near future, but there is still a high risk on accepting Bitcoin as your salary, given the fact that the price is unstable, may inflate or fluctuate, affecting your total salary.

my salary usually go through the banks, an usually the bank did not charge anything, but if i received bitcoins, when i convert it to fiat i will have to pay the fees for witdrawals..
unless i could find someone who do offline transactions

I would like to receive payments on bitcoin, it would be easier to receive every month. But I'd rather wait for the price to stabilize.

Aside from those fluctuations, we should think about the inconvenient of converting back to back so you could use the value of your money...We should think about accepting bitcoin as a salary if we could go to the market and buy a fresh fish with it or all the things that you eat or use daily... Smiley

Now every company is trying its best to adopt bitcoin for their payment, so I hope that at the time when we will get our salary in bitcoin, the fish shops will also have an option of bitcoin payment for their clients.

I agree with the concept that when we will get our salaries in bitcoin in our offline life then it will be a time when our offline stores will have an option for the payment with bitcoin, so there will be no any problem with us to pay with bitcoin, just like nowadays we are getting our salaries in bitcoin on this forum and we all know that we a number of online stores have payment system with bitcoin with no problem and we are happy with our salaries in bitcoin because of that . The same will be the case in our offline life with bitcoin.

I definitely would! Earning bitcoin as salary would be a great step ahead because, with the continuous fluctuations of bitcoin, both sides will get more money overall.

If you don't use your earning in bitcoin in real life then it's just fine if you want it that way and keep your bitcoins.. But if you are using your salary to buy your foods and pay your debts and bills, that would be an inconvenient..

Well, of you have no desperate need of money it would work for you but those people who are earning and does not have the opportunity to invest because their earnings are only enough for the basic needs of his family will be affected if there is a big price fall back happening after receiving his salary.

I dont think will accept my salry with bitcoin,
My reason:

1. Bitcoin isn't too popular in my country
2. If i received my salary at btc price $650 then btc down to $500 after that i can lose much my salary

So i like my salary with real money.

This is exactly what my answer would be.
Bitcoin is too inconsistent to rely on.
Unless, if all my basic needs can be bought by bitcoin, I would consider.
But I don't think that will be possible in the near future.

A big YES!  I will accept it as a salary.  It would not be a problem since we have here a licensed bitcoin wallet.  It has all the services needed from loading prepaid cards to school tuition fees.  It has been partnered with almost all bank here in our country.  The only problem is I will not be able to have my salary in full as encashing it has fees on it.
If my boss going to pay me bitcoin of course im not going to think twice, and we have the same idea or thoughts it not would be problem even the bitcoin price decrease , increase because i can still use it to invest , or trading where i can still grow my bitcoin  , bitcoin wallet i use here in my country in parrnered with some banks where i can easily exchange my bitcoin , into cash easily Wink
Maybe I would not also allow my boss to do that, I do not want to risk all my income although there is also possibility that the value I will be receiving will increase but that is a total gamble for me, what if I really need the exact amount for my family and then suddenly the price crash.

i will accept my salary in bitcoin, in fact now im join signature campaign and i get salary each week in bitcoin.
i think accept salary in bitcoin is best idea to hide from tax.

Unless you're from a third world country and the signature campaign payout levels with your weekly or monthly wage, you can somewhat make that comparison. But when you're not, then the only way to look at signature campaign payouts is to see it as a bonus. And nothing more.

You have a point, signature campaigns earning would be decent enough to compare the salary rate in 3rd world countries which is very useful because you won't do hardwork already because you are already earning decent in Bitcoin and it really depends on what country do you live but still remember the risk on Bitcoin because it's not stable as of now to fully rely on.

Even if you are from third world country I don't thin that only earnings from signature campaign would be sufficient for living, as payouts are too low and it can take care only of your basic expenses.
In 1st,2nd, or 3rd world, the money you get from the signature campaign just enough for buying ya food and the daily needs. earning your living just relied on signature earning that's too bad and at the same time is a bullshit because in this time a lot of people needs the secondary needs and like an obligation.
Being in a first-world country, the money I get from my signature campaign is something enough to maybe get something from the dollar menu every day or two, nothing substantial. It would probably be enough to help pay off a few packs of Ramen or something each day and keep you fed, although on a very meager diet. Something like this would be useful for students in University or so, and almost definitely useful for those in third-world countries to help them get food.

I heard some of them that they rely on signature campaign earning to pay their bills and even their  food budget  for the whole day which is really good to know that they could possibly do that things  even earning  on signature campaigns are not decent enough for many people, i think it really depends on the exchange  of a certain currency to their country thats why its big and can buy theit needs.

It will depend on the country and the cost of living, if cost of living is not too high then earning from signature campaign can take best care of your basic expenses.
you are right, im really sad that i live in a country with high fees as i cannot use signature campaigns to make a living with it, i hope it will change soon

Thats really an advantage  for them especially if the cost of living is cheap but dont wish  to  make your country would be like theirs because  it would not make any sense to switch places. lol.  Signature campaigns  earnings are not really big to rely on but  still its better than nothing at all.

Exactly when you are from a third world, your earnings from bitcoin signature campaign CAN be comparable to your wage, which is a good addition. Not only that you are earning from your job, you are getting nearly the same amount from your bitcoin hobby. Wouldn't that be great for them?
When bitcoin's value is low, then you're only going to be receiving more bitcoins because the 'value' is received in salary, not the amount of bitcoins. Or atleast that's how I understand it.

Anyway, I wouldn't want to receive my salary in bitcoins simply because the value of bitcoin changes from time to time.

yeah in my opinion the financial system would be really changed if people started accepting bitcoins as a salary and that would be really great

Oh my gosh Will u accept bitcoin as your salary?? That's a nice question. I want my salary in btc when rate is high but not when rate is low. It could make me both rich and poor it all depens on my luck that whether my salary in bitcoin will benefit me or push me to hell

The value of your salary in bitcoin is all depend on the conversion of bitcoin to fiat money, and it will never be fixed so the rate being low is not an issue here.  The probelem would be the price when the moment you recieve you BTC and the price when you are to convert it.  And another issue is the immediate access on spending it in the market.

Indirectly it means that it will depend on the price of bitcoin, if price goes lower then it will give us lower income and vice versa and that makes it really risky to accept salary in bitcoins.

It's shouldn't be big problem as long as bitcoin price is stable (for now, bitcoin price is quite stable).
Don't forget that you could earn profit if bitcoin price raised as well.

If price remains stable or it goes higher then its well and good to receive salary in bitcoin, but there may be scenario that price may fall dramatically as we can never expect price stability in bitcoins.
