Well i don't think that just because you don't know anything about the sport, betting on it would be relying on pure luck, no. The difference with sport betting is that we have a lot of information that we can gather or a lot of tips that are available on the internet. For example, i dont know anything about cricket, i can look up tips online that would give me higher percentage of winning.

I was thinking about getting into sports betting but the games are countless and i don't know which one to choose and i don't know anything about majority of sports.

Of course, few years ago i was betting on hokey - i didn't know back than anything about hokey and also i didn't watched hokey games. But i know how to read statistics and i was very accurate and made some extra cash. Just chose game and bet on statistically better team.

That is why sports book have like 1.9 odds on both teams if chances of winning for both are 50% while dice takes just 1% because in sports we can use brain and smartness and some people even fix matches lol so its much safer for a gambler to bet on sports he knows while betting on unknown sports is same too because you can win also or loose also but very risky actually.

That is still sports betting as that fall to the definition on how games are played, you bet is based on sports. For some gamblers who have a deep knowledge in sports handicapping, they call it as sports investing and that is the opposite of what you are doing. When sports investing, you have a game plan to follow and you need to have a decent bankroll for long term betting.

Yeah, as mentioned betting is purely have 50% winning based upon luck. So betting on sports that we don't have much idea to is not a big matter. I have tried this in the early days of entering gambling. Later on started to participate in sports events in which I have at least some strategy making knowledge.

no i will not do it and honestly i am so blind about sports games, i only know about football but not much only popular group which i know, and to bet on the sports games that i dont know is very risky so i will do it if i make wrong prediction i will lose my money

There are some gamblers that loves to gamble with the sports that they don't know and that's like guessing game for them and they think they can win with those games. And they intend to think that that is gambling, all about luck and guessing so if they won they are lucky enough and if they don't, then they are not lucky.

Of course, few years ago i was betting on hokey - i didn't know back than anything about hokey and also i didn't watched hokey games. But i know how to read statistics and i was very accurate and made some extra cash. Just chose game and bet on statistically better team.

That's possible happens, because basically betting on sports is not pure luck it's also need an analysis to the statics, market and current formation.

It's also happens to me when I bet on basketball match which I'm not follow this sport and win the bet. First I read 3-5 latest match from both team, then I read about basketball player market news and see a players from both team, is there are a potential player or not.

I don't want to lose my money on unfamiliar teams and i would prefer to bet on nba,ufc or any familiar sports who im following on and i believe that many gamblers do that the same way to since if we bet on unknown teams and sport surely we got a high chance to lose and we will surely doubt on why we do that.

I was betting on statistically better teams, with better standings on table, mostly on first 2-3 teams on table against last 2-3 teams, looking at current team form(you can find that in statistics) and other stats.

Also:

Would you call this lucky bet if I bet on first team, not knowing anything about sport?!

If i got any extra coins or made big profits in previous bets, I will try this in some games. But not everytime. I will also bet on only what games I know. Because it is easy to predict and we can analyze the game result based on our game knowledge. Sometimes I will place a bet on without knowing games for example boxing I didn't know players performance but based on famous name, and experts suggestions will do betting. I did very less time and met some profit and loss. So I will suggest you play only known games.

I agree we should bet only on the games we are familiar with. I have an experience of betting in an unknown game and just relying on tipsters. I was so confident that I would win this run but well tipsters messed up and I lost some amount of BTC. Lucky I only bet what I can afford to lose though I was tempted to bet more LOL. Lucky i do not.

That is absolutely right! Why bet on a sports that you don't know, out are just wasting your and time in there. But if you really have no problem aboutmoney or bitcoin, ok, do what you want. But I will never bet on something that i don't know, better to bet it all on dice games than betting it on something that I don't know or heard.
