deciding whether to gambler or not is indeed a decision that is difficult to prediction if when we were young we already liked gambling activities, however, every human being must have their own principles of life when they are old or in the future. I myself have these principles because I have our own point of view towards gambling, in my opinion gambling will never end if we continue to do this activity and are worried that we will be addicted to it until we get old and of course that is not very good, we definitely have a family and we definitely want our children not to follow the footstep of gamblers like ours, would not it be good if we were old and would give good guidance to our children and grandchildren instead of spending money on gambling?

If you have convinced yourself that you can stop gambling and can still think about earning income for your family's needs, that means you are not a gambling addict, maybe you are just a gambler who might just have fun by gambling as entertainment, but only you know about yourself. it's good if you can still think about your family's needs because not all gamblers can think about that, I also do the same thing as you so I understand what you mean.

I can also stop gambling at any time, as long as it is under good control, I gamble just for fun and it is still just entertainment, it will not be a big problem for me, but if we talk about how long it is true, we cannot measure the time when we will stop, but the sooner the better because of course not many families want us to gamble for too long.

Mapping out plans for long-term, ofcourse that doesn't suit our standards, one could not predict what will happen the next minute or hour, this is life and it comes with unexpected results, more reason we should prepare ourselves to face the worst. For me, I'm sticking to making good plans that I'm aware won't affect me. Old age will catchup with all of us, is just a matter of time, some of us will live up to old age while some will not, we just hoped for the very best out of life. Why would I want to engaged in gambling activities till old age? Ofcourse I'm able to gamble at my youth and have experience both good and terrible scenarios in gambling.

Yes, the decision not to provide certainty about when we will stop gambling really depends on the family's financial condition. If the family's financial condition allows us to gamble, we may still gamble. But if not, maybe we will stop gambling earlier because we prioritize family, especially if we are married and have responsibilities. We cannot continue gambling even though we still feel we can gamble responsibly. Still, there is no guarantee we can remain like that because gambling can provide stronger temptations that can make us complacent and continue gambling without stopping. When we make decisions, we also have to look at what is happening around us to make the right decisions. But regarding gambling, the sooner we can stop or reduce gambling activities, the less the family finances will be affected.

When a person is young their old age seems to be so far away they do not even think about it as it may seem as if it may never come, it is because of this reason that teachers and other people often ask them questions about their future so they begin to think about it, however knowing whether you will gamble during your old age or not seems like a difficult thing to guess, as only those that really love to gamble will know they will like to do so even at that age.

No one knows about age and we don't know whether we will continue to gamble when we are old or not because we don't know for sure if we haven't felt it yet, but among us we definitely have plans for the future when we are old 50 and above.

I personally have my own plans for when I am old, maybe I don't want to do these activities although I have money to gamble because when I was young I was satisfied doing these activities. and when old age is mentioned, it is no longer the time for me to continue doing it, maybe I will spend my time at home enjoying my old age watching television and enjoying playing with my grandchildren without having to gamble which might bother my children if my children give me money I however I use it to gamble instead, not everyone has a pension fund when they are old so I think I will stay at home doing more useful activities while I can.

I cannot provide a certainty to answer this kind of question. There may be times when you have to stop gambling sooner than expected depending on the family's financial condition. So far I have prioritized my family's needs, some of the remaining money from my income is used for investing and the other part I use for gambling. When my income starts to decrease, I will stop gambling. I made this choice so that the money that should be used for family needs is not taken for gambling.

If it's for fun and you enjoy it, then it shouldn't be stressful. If you set yourself the goal of making money from this, then this changes everything, in which case you have to place more significant bets, and this will create stress for you and most likely you will have losses.

Therefore, in this case, it will be very difficult to separate gambling for entertainment and for earning money. Personally, I chose gambling for myself as entertainment, so I don’t let it affect my mood and I never thought about stopping gambling when I get old, I do it because I like it, if I get tired of it I’ll quit it.

There is no problem as long as they have good control over gambling and have enough money to play gambling after fulfilling their needs. And this will become a serious problem when they force themselves to gamble by using money that should be used as provisions for their old age but they choose to spend it on irresponsible gambling which in the meantime their needs cannot be met. This can be bad, because in old age someone with all the limitations that exist they can no longer make money. And in conditions like this it can make the parents become a liar by telling lies such as asking their children for money on the pretext of meeting their needs, but in reality they use the money to play gambling.
I never prohibit someone from gambling whether they are young or old. But if our financial conditions are unstable and the money we earn cannot fulfill our desire to gamble, then we should never think about playing gambling occasionally.

Of course, gambling has spread very much, especially in recent decades. Online gambling will continue to spread and I will not be surprised that soon almost half of the population will try what it is. But we must not forget that a large number of people live in Africa or India, where many are looking for food for the day, not to mention some kind of games. They will not be able to play in old age because the average life expectancy there is very short.

I wonder what you will do if, thanks to your fund, you win a jackpot or something like that in your old age?) As for me, I would like to bet for fun in my old age, but it will be along with a beer in my hands and watching a football match Champions League.

That's right, because the benefit of being a responsible gambler is that you don't fall into the addiction itself and that way it will be very useful as a preventive measure, firstly so that you don't lose a larger amount and secondly so that you don't get into the addiction zone which is full of stress. So before you gamble you need to understand everything in gambling including the level of risk which is the most important, basically and maybe most of us also know that the level of risk is greater than the chances of winning which will only come once in a while, and with that if you are ready with all the risks then when you lose you shouldn't be emotional and upset because you lost money, because obviously at the beginning you have brought the rule that if you don't win then yes you lose, and if you can accept any results at the end of the session then I say you are a responsible gambler.

On the other hand to prevent you from losing large sums then yes as you said they have to set very strong limits there, don't be tempted by anything because it's just a trap, you have to be firm, because real gambling is just for fun when you are bored or to fill your empty time. True, if you feel that you are difficult to control yourself then it is better not to touch gambling.

Well, for me though, I do not believe that those gambling in old age is as a result of the outcome of their gambling during their younger days or age, gambling is completely based on ones decision, there are still people who gamble for leisure, while there are others who gamble for money and for business purposes.

When it comes to older people in our current generation, there are those who have made alot of money, have retired and instead of sitting around doing nothing and feeling completely helpless to themselves, they engage in gambling as a way to have fun and make the time move faster for them.

The only thing I have observed is that, such people don't engage in online gambling that much, they usually prefer to gamble at physical casinos since they mostly don't like gambling alone, but like to do it with friends.
I guess this is why when we visit physical casinos, the majority of population there are always older men and women, most especially in the weekends.

The main question here is that, are you willing to lose money? Could you be able to bare the risks that gambling impose? If the answer is yes, then you could be able to handle out gambling risks.
There's no such thing about age bracket for those who would really be tending to gamble, whether you are old or middle age then it wont really be that an issue. You can gamble all you want and
this is really that for anyone or everybody in regardless of the age then you could freely engage with it as long you do have the money to play on. It would really be just that differ when it comes to
decision and interest because there are really people who cant really just that able to bare up with the risks with gambling or simply they dont really like to lose money then this isnt  for you.
Old age then this is something on the time that you arent really that minding something or stressing into other problems in life specially when you are on to those retirement days
on which you would really be just wanting to relax and have that entertainment but of course you should really be still needing to be aware and careful with the risks.

Basically, gambling is a game of chance so it's fine to gamble blindly here or play the random way. If we gamble, we are also willing to spend money. That's right, you shouldn't prioritize gambling if you think you are lacking in budget. Gambling can just wait and besides you can still do it for fun mode only or without money involved.

I have a bad experience with gambling before because I mostly lose money and it gives me a lot of stress but good thing I change the way I play. So now, I can mostly experience the benefits of it, and that is; Apart from being entertained, it helps me to earn extra money. I can definitely say that I will gamble till I'm old.

Responsible gambling reduces the chances of addiction and a responsible gambler knows how to keep himself connected after not needing to spend on daily necessities. Gambling that doesn't cause problems in your daily life the key to responsible gambling is to set limits and stick to them. It is important to remember that gambling is a form of entertainment people who cannot take full control of their gambling activities must refrain from gambling.

I totally agree that everything depend from us. It is a question how we gonna live our lives before retirement and what we seek from gambling. If during our pre-retirement period we had a lot of fun and gambled, then most likely we will continue gambling. If we had more or less calm life, then I think gambling will be no near us. Most important, is how much we gonna earn through life. If we had a lot, then gambling will be one of affordable ways of entertainment, if not, then our thoughts will be aimed on different.

It will depend on each of us. If we can still play with young gamblers, we can enjoy it and it will be more fun for all of us because we can reminisce about our youth. We can also play while telling stories about what we did when we were young while we were gambling and share what we need to share with them, especially regarding self-control issues. And when we can no longer gamble with them, they may advise us to stop gambling and encourage us to rest immediately. So there is a reciprocal relationship between us and them which will create a closer relationship with them.

Yes, I often see it in physical casinos, lots of old people there because maybe they are looking for entertainment in their old age or just looking for extra money for living expenses, but maybe we won't find old people who have a complete family so it seems they are more busy spending their old age. with their families is different from parents who do not have intact families, most of them gamble to survive through gambling.

the only problem is when we are old enough whether we are able to follow the style of playing with other gamblers whereas on the one hand we are old enough in terms of our eyesight we already have problems and to focus on gambling thinking about something harder we likely not be able to anymore to set strategies etc. but if we still have very good physical condition when we are old, there is no harm in still gambling to enjoy ourselves while we are old, but as you said, it is better to donate money to people who need it, that would be better. because usually when we are old we dont only think about worldly pleasures but think about readiness to take the path when we die.
