One fourth of the population have gambled atleast once in their lifetime. Some part of the world gambling is very common and sending on it is not a big issue. Many countries have restrictions on gambling and in very specific region casinos are available. With the existence of more number of online platforms gambling is accessible all around the world. Even in countries where gambling is restricted, people continue to gamble using VPN and mirror links. Majority of the people at the age scale of 20 years to 40 years are much into gambling. During the retirement these people once again start to spend on gambling. This is all because of the person's luck that brought him win/loss during the earlier years of active gambling. Personally I will get into gambling based on the fund I have during the days of retirement. I shouldn't loss everything in gambling and face difficulty during my old-age.
Well, for me though, I do not believe that those gambling in old age is as a result of the outcome of their gambling during their younger days or age, gambling is completely based on ones decision, there are still people who gamble for leisure, while there are others who gamble for money and for business purposes.
When it comes to older people in our current generation, there are those who have made alot of money, have retired and instead of sitting around doing nothing and feeling completely helpless to themselves, they engage in gambling as a way to have fun and make the time move faster for them.
The only thing I have observed is that, such people don't engage in online gambling that much, they usually prefer to gamble at physical casinos since they mostly don't like gambling alone, but like to do it with friends.
I guess this is why when we visit physical casinos, the majority of population there are always older men and women, most especially in the weekends.
