I'll quit my day job if we ever see 100,000 USD bitcoins so realistically I'm not going to be quitting my day job any time soon if ever Grin

10,000 USD bitcoins would be enough to buy me a pretty big house with a pool & no mortgage, maybe a Caribbean cruise once a year but I'd still have to work so in short I'm going to need 100,000 USD bitcoins to ever be able to quit my normal job unfortunately.

Yes,but problem is how to make bitcoin, without a job?
a lot of ways to earn bitcoin, you choose the appropriate that you want or that you control, you can mine, trade bitcoin or altcoin, faucet, and maybe you can join camp sign, still many others you just choose

yes there are many ways to earn bitcoins, but the question is, is it affordable to leave our present job for the sake of bitcoins? It is illogical to quit a full day job and keep on working on bitcoins. Job guarantees you a financial security but bitcoins doesn't.

All the answers here are pissing me off, really. Bitcoin is an investment which has created a new market for itself, also creating a new sector of mini job industries for people. Some people earn thousands of dollars from bitcoin while some are still stuck with 0.0005 btc. You think somebody will offer you a job related to bitcoin here? or you expect somebody to talk about their bitcoin business model over here?
it depends on your hard work in getting bitcoin, the more you motivation to work hard, you will get the results you want

Those aren't jobs and will not pay the bills, unless you are like 15 you aren't getting any money doing any of that.
The reality is finding a real job for Bitcoin is still a pipedream. Few people are doing real, good paid jobs for Bitcoin because simply few businessmen will know what Bitcoin is and pay you with it.

signature is the best job that you can get nowadays with bitcoin, if you can post a lot, you have already a wage that is equiparable to a part-time which is enough for plenty of poeple that do not own a family

mining can also be profitable if you have cheap electricity

The jobs directly involved with Bitcoin development will require you an engineer degree minimum, so it's a small %.
The rest of the jobs are also coding related, and then trading, not much else. Anything that doesn't involve coding is basically gambling, not a "true" job in the classic sense (for me someone that makes crypto trading for a living doesn't have a "true" job), sure skill is needed but it's too unstable. Sig campaign is obviously not a true job, just nice extra.

Yeah, you cannot treat Gambling as a job, as it is truly based on the luck factor, one day you win and next ten days you turned up loosing, as for fun it is good, but your life depending on gambling doesn't sound great.

On the other hand, signature campaigns are just a source to earn bitcoins or you can call it as a part time income to take care of your day to day expenses, Surely one will not quit his job for the sake of bitcoins. As the job provides financial security to a person and his family.
It's really sad to see that so many people think playing poker as a job. I had a friend who was addicted to gambling and he ended up demanded money from me to play poker, then got mad at me for losing. Don't gamble dude, you're only hurting yourself.

Exactly, gambling is an addiction, once you are into it, it is very difficult to come out of it, as when you win you become more greedy to win more, and when you loose, you keep on thinking that I want to recover my losses of previous game and the process continues. But end of the day, you have nothing in your hand and that is very painful.

You can mine some alt coins then trade them for bitcoins. That's the best way to earn a passive income these days.

A Bitcoin job! Smiley

You could make 100 posts a day with sig campaign, work on a Bitcoin farm.
Setup a Faucet rotator with tons of VMs and VPNs?
Buy and resell? Flip coins? Regular trading?

I'm currently working on my coding portfuolio, then building my first CakePHP application. That will take some time to do as I need to fix my old Windows 8 laptop. So no, considering I had to go find a job in my local economy.

no too much risk for me, i prefer to work normally like everyone else, at least for the moment, at best i could accept a bitcoin payment for my wage
but going directly with trading, gambling and mining as a first job is pure crazy

you will end up losing everything in the long term, if you have some luck at the beginning i could see this working if you are good at poker and trading
because they are based on skill, this is true for the long terms

I think you are unaware of the opportunities bitcoin has in store for people, there are many job opportunities on the internet related to bitcoin based on the skills. People can earn money researching and writing on bitcoins, trading and understanding running a business along with bitcoin, mining and being involved in the block chain, devs which work on crypocurrency, marketing other currencies, marketing online gambling and even being a part of it, etc.

yes, very few people have knowledge about how big the bitcoin market truly is, surely there will be many business opportunities when more than 500k people are using it everyday individually and they are active. There are traditional ways of earning btc like trading, mining and now there are new ways like campaigns, marketing faucets, etc. Its a huge market.
No its not like that.
In your day job there is a job security and you are satisfied with what you earn and also that you are gonna get assured money at end of each month.
But in world of crypto there are many challenges that people face as there is no job security and money per month is not guaranteed for newbies.

But in my opinion, crypto thing is good for a part time job.

Apart from social factors like job security, crypto also involves major pros like larger rewards than a fixed salary. And all the work which one has to perform will be individually or p2p which is nice as depending on someone else complicates and increases work time. It is a nice part time job, rather being involved in trading and even being in a campaign can get you a little good money.

Buy and sell bitcoins,
well some already own a good money but they doesnt consider milionaires ,but has enought to live, bitcoin is getting mature on the next years and we all believe it can go up and get more and more supporters, becoming the first currency in world accepted everywhere without conversion. Some people just made those decision left their job and dedicated their time into their projects.

People who invest in miners are usually the rich people. I'm talking about farm mining/mass mining. I saw this documentary on youtube about a bitcoin mining farm and they generate like 100 bitcoins daily. Imagine that amount in 1 week, 1 month, 1 year.

Damn, that's a shit load of bitcoins man. Even if production and salary payments take away 10-15 bitcoins, they are still left with so many bitcoins. Mining is only beneficial when you have the best gear, the most complete resources, capabilities, understanding and time. Once you do and you understand and know your way around, nobody can stop you from creating your own btc empire Wink

True that. Investing a few thousand dollars in setting up a bitcoin farm can really pay up knowing that the halving is near. The price will probably go up since there wont be coins for everybody by then.
