That's serious gambling addiction if you will continue and you have left with almost nothing.
You have few bucks on your pocket but it's bound to be used for some other important things and you don't spend that money just to gamble again.
That's a very poor reasoning if you will say that you might recover your loss.

I could not agree more. There is always to time to play again in the other day. But knowing it is hard to win against the house is the thing we should always have in mind so that we will not going to use the hard earned money or our family savings. We should only use money that we can afford to lose and stick to it and not tempted to spend more that you should.

Luck in this case is more like probability. It is like that if you pick the same number in all games, the probability of the number coming increase with every failed attempt. This can be handy in small bets but a lot of other considerations are required.

It is good that you have the control to stop at 30% of your budget. If all gamblers have such control, gambling will be more fun.

I know the feeling, especially when you are gambling and losing. No one wants to lose in something or anything, it is just weird if you like losing. It’s not easy because probably you meant for the money in different thing, far away from gambling. It’s just human nature.

Most of us will lose our common sense when we are on the bad lossing streaks and frankly, it will be very difficult to fight our own minds in such situations. Making limits will be good practice but it won't be easy. This will require good steady intention to follow our own rules every time we gamble and in whatever situation we will meet.

In my own term I'd be stopping already at the amount of 30-40% in my budget, It's stupid to risk all your money in a day, I know that luck does not strongly base on what your games would be, but rather than to know if you are actually playing the game right or you are just playing the game to win money without even using your common sense, learn how to restrain yourself, or else you'd be using your feet all the way onto your home.

Never ever play online with money you cant afford to loose.

The most tragic part of the gambling addiction is that people may try to rationalize and instead of doing what you said (and what would be wise) and keeping the emergency money for emergency, they may rationalize that OK they bet the emergency money because THIS TIME for sure they will win. Usually they lose.

I would stop already because I don't want to take any more risk, especially if the money I only have is for fare. I always have an emergency in my wallet in case of emergency, it is important to me

Lol. I don't think you are a gambler dude. There are wise gamblers here, maybe because of years in experience of playing and have total self control. But please don't just say stop gambling because it will not make you rich.  . We play for other purpose as well but personally, I gamble not to make me rich, well not unless you bought tickets for lottery. . Some enjoy gambling during their free time and has money to burned, but just like I said, I'm matured already and know when to stop.

It sounded like you're assuming that people are just having jobs and earning money just so they will be able to gamble. You even advised that we should study more about gambling and look for other ways to recover from the loss. How about not gambling at all so you don't have any loss? Imagine if the times that you used up to gamble, study gambling, and working to recover from those losses were spent in a much different way. Something like becoming better in your passion instead, and losing your money because you're pursuing a career or starting up a business. Does that sound good to you?

It saddens me that people are thinking this way. SMH. It's like their lives just revolves around gambling.

Must be a terrible life to live, right? Being so brainwashed by the idea that you're someday going to hit the jackpot and recover the losses and gain back the trust and respect from the people you lost it to. It sounded like for everytime he loses all of his money, it's simply not his "day" and that he should just come back again later when he has money again. All the while, he's going to research more about gambling because apparently his "techniques" are not good enough and one day he will master all these when in reality there's no mastering to this. The day that he will hit the jackpot will never come, sadly.

If you already lose several times in gambling you should stop simply because it will make poor and it will result to big losses. Furthermore, do not waste your money in gambling once you lose you should top because playing gambling doesn't make you rich but it will make you poor if you lose a lot of money.

I think  it’s not just the gambling addiction that I need to control but every part of our life.  Not to the point that we control everyone around us but the point where we know our limits and we should not over extend the patience we have and be reckless.

strategy in gambling is not just about playing tricks so that you can always win in the game but must be able to control your situation while playing, if indeed we always lose in gambling and leave little money left, we cannot decide to continue the game because of the rest the money we have is more useful to use for transportation purposes, avoid stupid things that we should not do

This is how habitual gamblers will react, they will not stop till the last penny finishes in their pocket. They will not let any chance go instead they know that it is their bad day but they will keep continue their game. This is a very horrible time in the life of the gamblers, this is the point where the person is going to be stressed and also has the chances of ending good relationship and family matters. In trying to gain something of the money lost all his money but it is not only money. A gambler after being empty pocket loses the respect and dignity in the society and live wrecked life.

As bad as I play gambling, but I always save coins or money for other purposes, indeed lust and the feeling of wanting to win the game is very high, especially when being hit by any defeat will also be in the fight, but I'm not like that stupid thing if we spend the last money to enter the game again

I will stop playing. I want that remaining money to be alloted for myself. Another, in my own belief if I play today and I lose more than winning it means it is not my day. I will just lose my money so better to stop before it happen.
Stop gambling today does not mean losing. Sometimes you just have to let others won today and tomorrow will be yours.

I think I will keep on playing because I want to play my last money and there is a chance I can gain again all the money I lost. In addition, do not ever give up and play your last card until the end because there are still a chance of winning. However, if you not win its not your luck and just find alternative way to gain money that you lost in gambling and try to study and get more information about gambling so you can I can avoid losing money and make a plan if you once you enter again in gambling.

you are right, and this will happen in every time, and every new gambler will think that they can get much money from gambling so they can use gambling as one of the source income. but I guess they never learn from the other mistake and keep continue to play even they are losing much money in the games. I think he doesn't know that in gambling, we can add the investment too so we can earn some money with the house.

But the fact is gambling isn't just portrayed for entertainment nowadays. Most of gamblers think that gambling as a source of income and we can't actually stop them from thinking that way. For me, you can only have fun in gambling if you won.
