Well that's up to the person if he or she wants to continue but it's great that you have told that it only has a small chance. I agree with you that having a break from gambling would totally change your mindset and not be distracted with the losses from before and hopefully you would have the correct mindset to win.

Some may want to do it and probably get lucky but it is never advisable. One thing with gambling and trying to continue to recover losses puts you in a position of wanting to bet even bigger amount and that is what always end up happening to people who usually lose more, because the impulse to keep betting after losing such a huge amount will keep coming and stopping it would be a problem. So, it is better to just stick with the little you want to bet with and if you are lucky you can get something out of that and if not, you go home.

Actually, I don't consider OP as a gambling addict. There are times that shit really happens, and you can't tell when it will happen. But if it is happening everyday, that's the time that he needs to reassess himself and see if what is doing is good or bad for himself and for the people around him.

Honestly if your house is near your job, I don't think that fuel is a problem.

But the fact that being distracted with losses will just bring to more losses as of course you can't concentrate now because of your eagerness to win. So instead of making yourself more miserable just stop and call it a day and come back when you have a good sleep and clearer mind.

Yes, mostly gamblers don't stop because they want to get back all or a percent of what they have lost therefore i agree of what other's say that they tend to continue even for the last drop of its money. As for me we should stop if we think we already have successive lost because its a sign that lucky day is not ours, so be wise and have a limitation always to avoid greediness that make us ruin our good decision.

Hold your transportation with you and if you are not careful, you would still end up gambling with that as well. There will be no point of continuing our gambling when we are having very much limited resources for financial input. I mean to say only for the people who are born with silver spoon may get enough money to continue regardless of whatever things he does face with gambling.
