Foolish as it may seem, there are people who would go through that risk. Perhaps being exposed to one hit wonder, rags to riches stories in movies affected their thinking but it's not that uncommon that people go for broke. I got your point but I think losing in gambling does not count. What I mean is, we can learn from gambling sessions if we managed to analyze the situation and be able to adjust to it (bankroll management and discipline) but losing in gambling and losing everything to it does not guarantee us of being successful. Probably you are saying failures in life .. and yes the make us stronger and if we manage to learn from them, avoid stuff that made us a failure. But losing in gambling and failure in lufe is far different stuff.

That kind of mindset is not easy to have but it is the best to have. Some will say it is easier said than done, but normally, the earlier one realizes that one can lose everything, the better and that even helps a lot to control greed and be able to challenge those impulses whenever they want to arise.)Once I am out of my gambling funds, I really do not see any reason to go further and just like you, why go with extra cash, when you know there could be some possibility of you wanting to just try your luck as a normal human.

Definitely not, I will not continue if all money that I had left is not some excess money. I'd stop immediately, not trying to regain my losses. I also know when to stop when you're still in profit. Self control is what everyone should learn in gambling.
