Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!
I haven't mentioned Bitcoin on a date. I don't think I would mention Bitcoin on a date either, it may cause my date to get bored and leave. However, I think if the girl is interested in technological things, then I would mention Bitcoin to her.

Not on my first date, but...

I made a bet with my girlfriend: Anytime bitcoin falls 10 points or more in a week, I go down on her 3 times of her choosing. Anytime bitcoin climbs 10 or more points in a week, she goes down on me 3 times of my choosing.

It's been a good week.

I would if we talked about hobby or something like this. Talking about all those techy stuffs in a casual conversation during a first date would just be weird. Hell why would someone talk about money or stuffs like that during their first date?

I think its premature to talk much about finances on a first day.  Maybe if you are a bitcoin honcho or mention it in passing like a hobby or something but I would leave it at that.

i wouldn't do so, especially because girls don't like to talk about technical stuff. once you and she are getting to know each other you can try it on a second date. make sure you use easy language.

I did it once. She was curious at first but then she couldn't handle such technical stuff and deflected subject Smiley

Now? We're not seeing each other. I think she saw me as a nerd guy who I'm.

It depends entirely on the type of woman. If you're just on a date with your run of the mill average female I wouldn't bother though if she's intelligent she may find it interesting, though going into too much detail may bore her or any other member of the general public. If you're out on a date with a woman who is interested in tech or other such things go ahead. She might like you more for it.

Even with an intelligent women, I don't think Bitcoin should come up on a first date. Seems like something so random to talk about, especially when you're just getting to know someone. It's rather awkward in my opinion.

Well, this could be a professional approach if anyone has some fear to express their wish to their partners, surely it will work as an introduction to express himself what will be his thoughts and ideas regards to the welfare of the girl, and it gives the good impression on girls that their partners are professional and willing to take care about their future growth in terms of financial and their own life style needs.

Hehehe this is a bit funny but actually my current Girlfriend i kind of got her more interested in me just because i did talked about bitcoin, I'm not gonna lie i did kind of show off my wallet at some point she's a smart girl so we have been together for a little over a year.

Girls are looking to be entertain you just have to find the right topic and the key moves to get that private key wet.

Fall seven times, stand up eight.
I'm a little bit old to be dating now, but if I were ever to go on another first date, I would not mention Bitcoin. I also wouldn't mention fiat money, stocks, bonds, or Real estate. There are a lot of interesting things to discuss on the first date. Finances is probably not one of them.

+1.

Talk about sex with girls.

Edit:- Why even talk about it, Just do it!!!

I did mention it to my wife, she is tech savvy so she should understand how it works, but had a hard time to explain it to her. She thinks the time I spend on bitcoin is futile, makes fun of me trying to earn some coins while she swipes away the candy on her phone. I would still mention it if it were our first date though Smiley

It's extremely likely that mentioning Bitcoin on your first date would get you dumped faster than someone who talked about diesel engines on his first date. I'm sure most mechanics don't talk about diesel engines on their first dates, so why should we talk about Bitcoin unless we want to get dumped?

you are quite right. there have been topics similar to this in the past, where basement dwelling virgins think that it impresses girls.
its best to meander around the subject by saying your an investor (or your example) mechanic. rather then talking about decentralization (or in your case) the best mix of fuel and airflow of the engine.

and other advice to those virgin basement dwellers who want to know whats best for a first date..
the answer is listen to the girl and then reply by asking more details about what they are talking about. as it shows you are listening to her and interested in what she likes by talking about her topics..
never be an asshole by trying to impress her with math and science..

Methinks thou doth protest too much, basement-dwelling virgin.

This is the advice of either a grass-eating fagboy or a sociopath.

On my next date, I will wear a T-shirt with a QR code printed on the front. The QR code will point to one of the richest Bitcoin addresses out there now.
I will print the following on my back " Do you like me now? "
It will get me laid, but I will have a truck load of trouble when she finds out, I am not the owner. ^grrr^

 BAD IDEA!!!!
It will get you robbed more than likely.

Viva Ut Vivas
I pick up girls by saying:
"Hi there, my public key is 19KJZ5aqWnrrCaNAS5Pbd4uknPFBxjALRt"

Better than driving a Ferrari.

Yes, I say it out loud...their knees start to buckle as I get to PFBx.

I'm pretty sure if you had 5k btc in your wallet and single why not show off a little, we all know girl like a man with money and toys, real facts !

Bitcoin rich or Bitcoin poor?

After that I ask her if she wants to come back to my place and see my private key. Tongue
