Don't mention Bitcoin, say "cryptocurrency" and add: "it's complicated" ... then mention "decent profits" and "money" ... that's hole-in-one. She'll even accept a second wife on your side if you have a Lambo.

99% of girls fuck on first date if your car is decent.
Reality is sometimes cruel.

Never go about telling any technical shit. All they wanna know is "money, success, status". Nothing more, nothing less. Try to be humble while bragging.

It is hard to say, being a nerd has become cool now a days so it might not be a horrible thing to do.  It also depends on the goal of the date.  If you are out for some tail then dont bother to mention it.  If you are looking for a relationship then mention it.  You want to find out right away if you are compatible and getting to your nerdier hobbies is a great way to filter out the shallow ones.

only basement dwellers would talk about bitcoin on a first date

if you want to atleast meander around the edges.. just say your an international currency investor..
Lol, that sounds great, it's actually what I say, not only with girls, but male friends, it's just too fucking geeky to mention, we are still the early adopters. Once it's on the news and so on, then we'll look cool because we were there since the begining, while the rest will be posers lol.

Here's my take on it: women generally like emotions (I get all passionate when I talk about Bitcoin), men with vision, men with money, men who believe in something and stand up for it and take initiative. So as long as you avoid a logical, factual, technical conversation, see how Bitcoin actually works great in a dating context?
I couldn't agree more!

Actually, bitcoin contributed to me getting laid on more than one occasion. It's sort of my gimmick. Tongue

and other advice to those virgin basement dwellers who want to know whats best for a first date..
the answer is listen to the girl and then reply by asking more details about what they are talking about. as it shows you are listening to her and interested in what she likes by talking about her topics..
never be an asshole by trying to impress her with math and science..

That's the single best advise out there.

Your main role during the first date is to be active listener.

Even if the subject of bitcoin comes up and the girl asks "what is bitcoin?", it's best just to say "it's pretty boring, I'll explain it to you some other time" sending the message that you like the girl and want to see her again without saying it outright.

It depends entirely on the type of woman. If you're just on a date with your run of the mill average female I wouldn't bother though if she's intelligent she may find it interesting, though going into too much detail may bore her or any other member of the general public. If you're out on a date with a woman who is interested in tech or other such things go ahead. She might like you more for it.

It's extremely likely that mentioning Bitcoin on your first date would get you dumped faster than someone who talked about diesel engines on his first date. I'm sure most mechanics don't talk about diesel engines on their first dates, so why should we talk about Bitcoin unless we want to get dumped?

you are quite right. there have been topics similar to this in the past, where basement dwelling virgins think that it impresses girls.
its best to meander around the subject by saying your an investor (or your example) mechanic. rather then talking about decentralization (or in your case) the best mix of fuel and airflow of the engine.

I've been with the same girlfriend for 7 years, she isn't interested in bitcoin one bit.
She knows what it is & she obviously wants it to work out financially for us but she doesn't give a crap about the inner workings & details of bitcoin.
I think she might want to know a little bit more if we go to the moon & she's got her hand out asking for some Christian Louboutin's  Grin
But yeah to anybody going on a 1st date don't mention bitcoin, the girl will likely think you're a loser.

On my next date, I will wear a T-shirt with a QR code printed on the front. The QR code will point to one of the richest Bitcoin addresses out there now.
I will print the following on my back " Do you like me now? "
It will get me laid, but I will have a truck load of trouble when she finds out, I am not the owner. ^grrr^

If she knows enough about bitcoin to understand the t shirt she will likely know that could be anyones address, this plan is flawed Grin

What Kazimir said. If it is a topic you a passionate about and obviously for everyone here it is, then yes, you should definitly talk about bitcoin on your first date. It is nice to converse over things that are new and shiny and have a future or at least we believe has a future. You could avoid talking about the stuff you like, but it will only give a false idea of who you really are and a dumbed down version of you. On a date you would like to have a shiny and passionate version of the one you date with, not a dumbed down mediocore version of them. You want to be interesting and interested in eachother. Be yourself, take in your bitcoin passion into the converstation. I would definately talk about bitcoin. Chances are the other one does not know a big deal about it and has a lot of questions you can provide answers for. Or in the best case you can both pay with bitcoin for your date and go for a mining session at your place  Grin

Just be flexable on a first date, go with the flow, if technology/money comes up its fine to talk about bitcoin a little.  If you talk about other things just talk about other things, its not important the other person knows everything about you right away.  The date should be enjoyable not hard work for you or them.

i could mention it if we were talking about technology in general or if we are going to pay pure something, basically any related stuff to bitcoin; in that case it would be a good opportunity to shift the argument to bitcoin

otherwise it is better to avoid it i guess

If you talk about hobbies you should be able to mention it. Would just show that you are passionate about something that even has the potential to make you some money Wink
