Indeed there are many other contests/challenges/promotions before this 0.3btc wagering contest, but was there any wagering contest before? I'm not really active at windice (both on the site and the forum), that's why I ask about it. This could be the reason why there is nothing to be shown under the history of contest because there was no wagering contest previously. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But he didn't mention it directly so I think he's talking about the whole contest thing of windice.

The prize pool is impressive indeed. I am not counting on ending up in the top 10, since I can almost always see more than 10 people who wager much more than I do on WinDice, but I will definitely try my luck in this contest because even the five bottom prizes

look attractive to me. I mean, maybe it's not that much in USD, but I love winning prizes!

All in all I will give it a shot, I don't know if the rankings will be there and we would be able to see where we are at the contest before it ends but if I see myself doing fine and calculate that I am in a lesser loss than the amount I can win then I will continue until it goes to negative, after which I would probably stop or maybe I won't have the will power to stop Cheesy

only time will tell. Only 1 day left, I am super hyped about it.

if you want to play smart , you can wager some every day and monitor your progress , compare it to others
the last hour or two before the end , have a look at the table and decide for yourself if it is worth to try and climb the ladder or not
there are different strategies and approaches and no success recipe ( same as in gambling in general )
but smart players can make money during such promotions , or at least decrease the house's advantage because of the prizes

50 spots may seem to much for a contest like this but you should also consider the number of members that are actively playing on the site . for sure alot of them are big time players . ive been on a contest like this before and even though i wagger a good amount of coins , i still dont get on the top list because there are more bigger waggers than me even on the last spot . thier waggers are bigger than their prize , so i think thats not really worth it not unless if you are winning most of your bets .

As it is a wagering contest so for sure that the one who wager the most in the the timeframe will win the prize. It wont be surprising if there will be huge number of wagered amount during the contest because the prizes are so attractive. Those who usually play big amount will come and compete with other players for the first prize.
I'll wait for the 2nd day first to see how much have been wagered by other players, if there is a good chance to win something by wagering not much BTC then I'll join it but if most players are wagering a lot already then I'll not join it because I know my limit.
