A user which is now on top of the list, has wagered 1.87 bitcoin. It's not a high amount. Just check the contest of the Wolf.bet which you yourself are promoting that in your signature. In the last round, the winner has wagered 6.46 bitcoins in a 24-hour contest. Windice is conducting a 3-day contest.
Any way, I expect the numbers shown in Windice contest table to significantly change in coming 9 hours. I won't be surprised even if a user who is not listed in top 50 now, win the contest.

I havent ever seen that many people online like today. Over 300 players currently, that is amazing, about 50% more than e.g. last Friday. as in more or less places and a different prize pool , or even the timeframe , but pretty sure if the contest is successful
