This is actually true on which it all really depends on timing and yet we do really get use to the movement or volatileness of cryptocurrencies which there would really be some days that price will dip and there not really need to curse or blame but yet we do already know the risk in the first time we do invest that we would really possible to lose up money.Its just like that.We do earn we do lose but yet we do really need to move on.

You shoulnd focus on current situation but the next one. When the fork happens bitcoin will likely drop and altcoins will rise again. Juts wait for four days..

yes, by taking advantage of the current situation that we have to do if we have the capital to buy altcoins because altcoin prices are currently declining in value, it can make many people feel lucky if altcoin can rise again. although now bitcoin prices continue to increase because many people are pushing for bitcoin prices are expected to rise in price, but the role of altcoin is certainly necessary because altcoin is also a type of digital currency that can be traded the same as bitcoin

I think you are one of newbie traders that always follow any coin that is attractive and everyone is talking about. It's your choice if you want to stop trading but only altcoin can give you much profit faster than btc.

I tell you, bro. It is all about timing. There are so many people here who got rich or even became millionaires because of altcoins. No need to put the blame to altcoins altogether. Are you mad because they are dipping in price? It is very normal. No need to worry. They will get back to their All Time High again and then continue to climb higher.

Mostly of investors are invested on altcoins it's because alts are cheaper value than bitcoin and they can choose in a different varieties in values most of them has a potential to increase its value.

What time scale are we talking about? And what coins did you buy? I find it really hard to imagine that you'd only x2 on altcoins...

its funny.. there are the ones who have some bitcoin in their portfolio and think they are the gurus of business and giving lessons to the rest of the community.. nevermind! ANYONE here can see the future. It was unpredictable that bitcoin could grow as soon and fast before the hardfork. Sadly, people is a little bit stupid because they run to everything what is "free".. and in fact this Bitcoin Gold will really be a shit.
On the other side, you are not alone in this boat.. many of us have been loosing money the last weeks.. (25% of my investment at least to me). So stop crying and complaining.. there were risks in this business, and now assume it. I am ready to loose the money, but luckily it wont happen. I am 100% sure this is future. Maybe some of my coins will die, but the rest will recover, grow and will make a huge amount. This is not the end of altcoins. There are many useful altcoins, Bitcoin was just a pioneer, but I think there will come a day when it will be replaced.. I still remember Microsoft MSN Messenger.. 10 years ago i would have bet my balls that it will last forever... but no one uses it anymore. or do you?¿?¿??
If you still are not sure, then sell all your alts and fly away from here.. because they will still bleed a little more until 20nov (segwit2x).

almost all prices of altcoin its go down,,i think now moment  time to buying altcoin for long term. but you should have analyze before choosing the coin.

I am in the same boat. I bought so many bitcoins and converted them to altcoins because I never thought bitcoin would rise faster than altcoins due to its huge market cap compared to them. I could have easily done 3x-4x now if i had just kept the bitcoins compared to less than 2x I did overall in the altcoins. 

it looks right when bitcoin manages to enter the real world and has a tremendous effect.
but it can not be avoided if we can also get a good profit when playing altcoin with research full of calculations.

That's not going to change and this same thing has been going on in the stock market and in VC as well. Just means cryptos are finally making an entry into "the real world".

On top of everyone selling altcoins to get bitcoin forks, the entire alt market is diluted with ICO's, forks and new altcoins trying to make a buck off the hype. Well its just diluting the potential growth of the real coins like ETH and the other top coins. There's just way too many fucking coins now.

All the coins I bought are top ten altcoins in market cap (No small caps or shitcoins). All are way down vs btc since buying in june. I'm not trading, this was always intended to be a long term investment. I bought them with bitcoins that I had been holding. Overall I must have lost at least 70% in btc value. Not sure why everyone keeps saying Im buying the wrong coins and I don't know how to trade. IM NOT TRADING, I'm investing and still holding TOP ten altcoins long term.

Always depends on which altcoins you picked. A lot of alts are just trash, so you need to be very careful with what coins you pick for hodling.

Some days I thought like you but most of the altcoins that I bought have replaced their price. My friendly advice to you do not sell these altcoins , just hodl.

Altcoin is profitable if you know your move of when to buy and when to sell your hodlings coins. When the btc price rise high it is good time to buy altcoin because of cheap price. Think first before buying your coins, buy those worth investing. And if you choose good coins with great future you are in good hands.

Altcoins help spice up trading, an Altcoin can easily pump ×4 of its value in a very short period, which Bitcoin can't be able to do
And as it stands now, don't be discouraged with your Altcoins, due to the upcoming fork, everyone is Pushing to Bitcoin. When all this is over, you'll be glad you bought those Altcoins.

Bitcoin "only" went x6 this year. There have been numerous coins that outperformed that increase and there are several that will gain more than that in the coming months/year as well. Bitcoin just happens to be one of the few coins that are very likely to keep increasing for a long time (until it gets replaced). But as far as raw gains are concerned, there are better options.
Either way, Bitcoin is a safe haven (with regard to cryptos) and a portfolio that has a generous position in Bitcoin while spreading a good chunk across riskier (but promising) altcoins will outperform any raw Bitcoin allocation. I personally wouldn't even buy Bitcoin if I didn't have several hundreds of thousands in cryptos of which I wanted to protect a good portion.

Just for today, I wish I never do it also. Over 80% of my portfolio is in ETH and Tokens and now BTC is 6K, Ether is still 300 bucks...

But I choose to hold for better times/value/exchange rate.
