Anything we can buy include island, if someday bitcoin prices reach $ 1 million then easy for those who have bitcoin buy bitcoin, it all depends on us and the opportunity is there if we do not delay the bitcoin investment.

I don't know if there is an island that is up for sale and accepts bitcoin as a payment but you can buy island if you have a lot of bitcoin but first you have to convert it into fiat before purchasing the island you are dreaming of.

There should be a government which possess island, and accept bitcoin as way of paying.

There is no government that accepts bitcoins.
And frankly speaking there is no government that sells an island as it's not the government doing financial transactions but the financial entity of that country. Separation of powers, only a few countries are still communist dictatorships.

Besides, they will never take bitcoin even if they would make it legal tender.
For example you can by a car in Poland or Bulgaria with euros but you will never be able to pay your taxes with euros.
By law all transactions done by the authorities must be done in the national currency, they will never accept a foreign one.
Even if it is pegged to a foreign one, like the Bulgarian leva to the euro.

Of course you can. Back in the day there was a whole island in Micronesia up for sale.

Now there are many equally interesting places to choose from.
For instance this one https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/442-32-hectares-13-of-island-southwest-lombok

I think this will prohibit. I never heard of it here. lombok is a part of our country. no sale of an island, in indonesia not allowed to sell an island. even if there are foreign nationals, they just hire no more than that. if any of these violations will become criminal.

You should carefully read the ad. They aren't selling the whole island, but a large part of it. Somebody owns land there and is selling it, just like they would sell land on the mainland. About half of the island belongs to someone else, and we can see that it's used for agriculture.
It's still a beautiful region. If I had enough money I'd buy it and build a watchtower in the middle of it and rent out rooms with a 360 degree view of the island Cheesy

I think that could be possible, yes. But for you to buy an island with bitcoins, first somethings needs to be possible. There should be a government which possess island, and accept bitcoin as way of paying. Second you need to have enough bitcoins. If that requirements at meet, it should be no problem for a person to buy an island. I must say that, that would be a thing to see or read about. Cheesy

Brother, I'd take an island with half the acreage of the one shown here.  Islands
are even better than bunkers in case SHTF, which it no doubt will.  I'm stocking up on
canned goods, seeds, silver coins, and good reading material for that day.  But I think zombies
can still make their way to an island if I'm not mistaken.  Saw it on The Walking Dead.

Seriously, buying property with crypto is a fine idea.  I'd like to see more of it done.

It depends if they are the zombies from dawn of the dead series. I remember those zombies were walking under water and able to cross rivers and such.

In case of SHTF, I'df be scared of people knowing that the island is full of goods and building boats and rafts to assault you at night. Hungry people are like animals. Worse than zombies, because they are smarter, faster, and can shoot guns Wink

Governments decision to accept Bitcoin or not, should not stand in your way to buy your island. If you have enough money to

afford to buy a island, the Real estate agents will fall over their feet to find a way for you to do that. Most of them will push

the transaction through payment processors and they will only see the fiat cash.

" A 250 million pound ($325 million) luxury development has been launched in Dubai — and the people behind it don't mind if you pay in bitcoin. "

Instead of dreaming of having an island. How about buying a bitcoin first? Just incase you got lots of Bitcoin. Instead of purchasing an island, how about creating and hosting your own crypto currency? You will be a billonaire soon just like ETH founder.

Last time I checked, private islands go for as low as $250,000. If you think about it, that really isn't so much. Are you going to get an amazing location and a cleared out island with a place to live and electricity, etc.? Nope. But you do get an island, at the very least.

Yeah, but after those 250k comes the taxes.
You will need to have everything shipped (really shipped)  to you at astronomical prices.
Ever checked the prices of milk in some villages in Alaska? Almost 5 times more expensive.
Think about a health problem and the time you will need for rescue.

If you are really interested in buying a 250 000 $ island be prepared with at least another half a million in reserve.

maybe you should convert it in you currency first before you can buy an island, but i think the first thing you must do is to work for your bitcoins too hard so that you will earn a big money for your future and to buy an island.

there is still much to buy other than the island, to buy the island and have to live alone and some employees may not be a comfortable thing, seeking pleasure around the world is certainly better, knowing the outside world with just a bit of bitcoin to visit hundreds of islands.
I don't think it's possible for now, maybe we can earn a lot that can be good for buying a house or a car, I mean buying only thru btc from poor getting rich, but those who are brn rich may be able to buy some island.

If 21 million people in the world want to have a whole bitcoin, then we're gonna be looking at sky high pricing. Who knows have much a bitcoin will be in the future, or what things you can buy with bitcoin. If it truly does get massly adopted internationally, then you may just get your island Smiley

I am not that sure but I think there are some countries that there government accepts bitxoin.
But in our country you need to convert it first because our government is not accepting bitcoin yet but hoping that they accept in the near future.

He doesn't even necessarily have to pay for the island in bitcoins directly, he can easily use the exchanges and have them converted to fiat before buying so I'm wondering why he's even asking because the answer is clear for all to see.
