IMO, if you sold a good deal higher ($550+), or you haven't bought in (period), then just wait for a strong breakout on AT LEAST the 4hr, but preferably the daily. we have not gotten that yet. the down trend is still in full swing. best to wait it out. don't need to catch the very bottom (but do get those flash crash bids in!!!)

Smiley Well, without getting into a larger debate on USA vs UK - we know how to spell "colour"...

Sure, but you don't know how to spell "center".   Kiss

And what's with putting an "r" sound at the end of words that end in "a"... like "Idea", or "Linda"?

It's all good.   Grin

I dont have a ton of bitcoin but enough that if bitcoin hits 5k I should be set for life.

10k BTC is a nice stash. Don't underestimate that.  Or do you speak of 5k per mBTC?  Grin

I haven't forgotten.  I'm not sure how long I should wait in anticipation, because if you show up 5 years from now yelling "SEE, I FKN TOLD YOU!" I'm going to laugh at you again.

At least you're right in that you own up to your fuckups.

No. The $200 range would have to be part of the Wave 4 correction, DanV style that I had bought into and believed in, which I then abandoned as soon as the dollar signs in my eyes lit up at the prospect of another Bitcoin take-off, but which I am now buying into again, except I aint 'buying' or selling anything to do with crypto.......actually, I never abandoned it all, but I figured on a rise up to around $800 for the B wave of the Primary wave 4 correction......man, I have lost my fucking shirt on Bitcoin in 2014. It has also just come to my attention that I am down around $1.5K on crypto investments that I 'didn't care about', namely 30 Litecoin and 3500 Quark (lol/cringe) that I bought in Nov 2013, which are now worth next to fuck all.........great having so much cash that $1.5K doesn't matter, innit? Except for the fact that I don't, and $1.5K certainly fucking does matter to me.

Anyhow, if Wave A took from Dec - April, and Wave B took from April - June, then Wave C should reach it's conclusion by Dec 2014. Only grounds upon which I can come gloating full of self righteousness after that date, would be if Bitcoin just continues to grind and bounce up weakly as 2013's China and/or Willy bot inspired exuberance is slowly but surely deflated out of the market.

I;ve had some of the same thoughts/isssues that you have or had.. I just decided to put all my coins into cold storage and not look at the price that often. Its hard, trust me to not look at the prices, so my goal is to look at it once a day, then once every other, etc. kind of like getting of drugs or something similar, lol...

Im in it for the long haul, Im more worried about the price in 5 to 10 years, not really today. so I dont know why its bothering me so much, I do buy a little when its low, but not that much, I dont have a ton of bitcoin but enough that if bitcoin hits 5k I should be set for life.

I even toyed with the idea of selling yesterday and rebuying back when it hit sub 400.. glad i didn't do it. thats just another reason im glad my coins aren't on my computer, its a pain to get them out of cold storage, so it gives you time to think about it..

Now if you just have a few coins or are a day trader, then its a different mentality. But I think the best thing to do is just hold. I've already cashed out a significant amount when we were close to the ALH to get out of debt and buy a car, etc, so I dont need the money. Its my retirement.. thats how you have to look at it..When the recession hit in 2008 most people didnt sell their IRS or 401k's, they just held and now its more than recovered..

So, everyone that is nervous out there, just hodl.. it will be okay..

Would love coin prices to come back to earth so I could afford to buy in and have a decent holding of BTC.
As it sits now I own none and it's sad..  Angry

Prices are down almost 60% from the peak. Now is the time to buy.  Grin

Cant wait to spend 20k euro at 250 dollars Cheesy
Let it burn ! dont stop it!

You may change your mind if it actually drop to 250 and decided to hold instead.

$250 would be a great price to buy, no doubt

$470 is great for me, might go a little lower on my limit order today, but no much   $458-470   What you reckon?

When someone willing to sell at 310 to get out yesterday, that kind of make me wonder if he has information which the general public has no access to yet.

agreed, bitstamp follow to $300 is just a "when" question

I would love for BTC to drop down to $1 so I could pay back my investors far more cheaply than now..

But I do not really see this happening in the near future.. although it *is* possible.

too 1 is too much man, what all the asic miners will do if that happen? shoot at their head?

You are an extremely stupid person. Not only you don't know how to type properly, you are literally an idiot for your flawed reasoning. How do you know $250 will be the bottom, what made you come to this conclusion? How do you know the bottom is not at $400? Or $100? How?

250 sounds like a great price to buy, lets see if we get there:) Thats around my 'hard buy zone', not sure how much exactly Im willing to spend buying if we reach it - bcs of course the thats close to the danger zone of breaking previous lows of $50, which would mean at that stage we are properly on a down trend. THAT would be interesting (and costly to me, ouch)! As long as the previous low remains ($50) unbroken, I'll remain a buyer.

In these times of panic moves up and down, just need to listen to this guy. Its more about fiat market trading, but most principles are still the same:

http://youtu.be/S7H-MVPlGJw?t=7m

Just remember folks, there cant be any buyers at 250 or any other low price if there are no sellers at that price. If you bought high the temptation is to sell low, but if you and everyone else holds strong then the low buyers have to come up to a higher price to buy meaning the market cant reach low prices. Just remember each time you sell, its in the hands of someone, not some magical market entity (...yet, not now for BTC anyway).
Once the short sellers make their money here the market will rebound in my opinion. the same short sellers will buy and make their money again on the way up. As long as the rebound starts above $50 IMHO, then we are still good to reach new highs (or match the last one).

Disclaimer: I remain bullish on the price to reach 1kpBTC minimum, I have a vested interest in higher BTC prices = in people not selling at the lows. My last buy in was at 475, hard (highest) target to sell: just under 2kpBTC Smiley
