It was only the wind.
Hey guys,
For some reason can get "easy-miner" but not this to work.

Used this version:
Some Win binaries for those without AES-NI.

https://ottrbutt.com/cpuminer-multi/cpuminer-multi-wolf-06-12-2014.zip
https://ottrbutt.com/cpuminer-multi/cpuminer-multi-wolf-06-12-2014.zip.sig

Command line just says 3 miner therads started, sets diff, and keeps saying stratum detecetd new block and resets diff.

No hash tho.

Same thing happens for me on a machine with Xeon E5520's. Just lines of 'stratum detected new block'. No hash reported, no shares found. Both Lucas' and yam work fine on the same machines.

It's broken atm, but I think I have a fix. Hold on.

EDIT: All fixed.

I get this error when i try to compile it:

Code:
root@prox8:~/cpuminer-multi# ./autogen.sh
configure.ac:133: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_ERROR
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.

How to solve that?

System is Debian wheezy 64bit.

Compile latest autoconf from source.

Any other solution? I am on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I'd rather stick to available repository versions. There is other stuff on that machine that may break.

Edit:
I just checked and my version of autoconf is 2.69, which seems to be the latest version according to http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/

Just wanted to confirm. It is 10-20% faster on average across some of my multi-core machines.
The same performance on my FX-8350.  Undecided

does dev still here ?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Okay, done. Have a Windows x64 binary for non-AES-NI. Does it submit shares? Yes. Does it work on a non-AES-NI system? Beats me.

I use this miner, but  system memory increased more and more

how to clean memory and set remine auto?

or dev fix this ?

Can someone fix the bug that causes miner to hash even when not connected to the pool ? This is a waste of cpu resources and should be fixed. I'm offering a 0.05BTC bounty for the fix!

Still looking for a fix, anyone ?

BTW very good work but please clean up the OP!

I'll second that. Which is the latest version for Win 64 with AES-NI? cpuminer-multi-wolf-06-12-2014?

That 06-12-2014 version is for withOUT AES-NI.
The newest Windows 64 binary WITH AES-NI is 06-09-2014 I believe.
That one is the fastest for me.

Happy to announce 5-20% performance increase, depending on the number of cores, out of Wolf's current public miner!

We support Wolf's work and will soon enable pool donations to Wolf for his miner development

We are actively looking!

Hello.  GlobalBoost-Y just launched and it is a cpu only coin.  It uses the yescrypt algo, so their is no mining software yet.  It is the first coin to use this algo.   I wanted to reach out and see if we could get some assistance.  We can pay for the work.  Please feel free to PM me or drop a comment on the thread. Thanks  Smiley

I have a dual Opteron 6274 machine with 32 cores and 32 gb ram.  I was expecting to get results around 800 and maybe even over 1000 for my hash rate.  I'm using Windows x64 and have tinkered with the threads settings.  All I ever get is 200 and a maybe 300 hash rate.  Is there anything I can do to get something similar to what is found on the google docs sheet.  There are several dual opteron configurations that are pushing 1000.

Thank you very much in advance for anybody that is willing to provide some input!

It was only the wind.
Can not compile win64 binaries from the source.
Is there any tutorial about how to do that?

It's not easy. If you're not good at cross-compiling, I'd give up.

It's clear that it's not easy.
Would you kindly make a step-by-step guide?

I think many people in this thread are not very strong at cross-compiling but wanna be a little bit.

A step-by-step guide would take quite a while and would only work on Arch Linux x64...
