It is said that the end is good to whom all is good. Ireland women are yet to lose a match but in today's game they lost five wickets for 40 runs in 10 overs. Where did Captain Laura go? Laura does well in all sports but what happened today. Anyway, I don't think Ireland women can do more than 110/9. That's the cruel irony of fate! No one can tell when it will go either way. Best of luck to the Scotland ladies.
Scotland women won the semi-final match against Ireland women and they qualified for the final match. In the loss of Ireland women, I think they're open this blame should have to go to the openers because they both were out on the zero scores then how can they come back after this start? Amy Hunter and Gaby Lewis both were out on zero in the most important match of this WT20 Qualifier.
Ireland women are no more in this World Cup qualifiers and after their opener's poor performance, the whole team is also out early as you can see the captain Laura Delany who had too many responsibilities lost the wicket on two scores, and there were nine other players, none of them played good innings. If Leah Paul and Arlene Kelly would not have made 45 and 35 runs respectively, then we could have seen their team all out under 50 runs
Scotland played very well in the Semi-final match as they chased the target in under 16 overs and just in the loss of two wickets they chased up the target in which only one player didn’t play well named Saskia Horley.
The player named Sarah Bryce also made fewer runs but she came to play at the end of the match and on the balls that she got to play, on that she played on average.
Some players who led the team to the win are mentioned and given below:
Megan McColl
Kathryn Bryce
Kathryn Bryce
Rachel Slater
From the 11th players, these are the four players who were the backbone of the team, now we want the same performance from them in the finals too.
