For example, the fastest delivery by a male bowler is measured at 161.3 kmph (by Shoaib Akhtar), while the fastest delivery by a female bowler is recorded at just 130.5 kmph (Ellyse Perry). Also, a few weeks ago one of the male athletes competing for the Canadian women's team (Danielle McGahey) caused an injury to one of the players in the opposing Brazil squad (hit in the mouth by a Mcgahey shot). Similar bans already exist in other sports such as athletics, cycling, swimming and rugby.
