Today is the first game between India women and New Zealand women. New Zealand women are full confident because recently they came here after winning the World Cup that is why fully confidence in them.

By the way, I think Indian women also wanted to take the revenge because in the recent World Cup, India women were out by the New Zealand team otherwise for sure India was winning the title but they stole it. Anyway, today aslo is the game of India vs New Zealand at men's cricket which was going equal for the both teams so far. Let's see what happen in the women's game.

New Zealand Women's team, who have just won the Women's T20 World Cup, are visiting India to play three ODI matches with the first ODI of the series scheduled to be played on October 24. The team against New Zealand Women's team has just been announced with those who have represented India in the T20 World Cup. New Zealand women's team is definitely a strong opponent for India women's team, but if this series is held on Indian soil, India will definitely be ahead considering the conditions. Indian girls do not play cricket in the same conditions in which New Zealand girls play cricket, so Indian girls can adapt to these conditions as much as New Zealand girls can't adapt.

I've been watching all the games that India has participated in during the Men's Emerging Asia T20 Cup. While watching these matches, I noticed that the performance of teams from the Indian subcontinent in the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 was quite disappointing.

My question is, why doesn’t the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) organize a similar tournament for women? Identifying and nurturing talent in women's cricket could help one of the subcontinent countries excel in future World Cups. As it stands, none of the winners of the prestigious Women's T20 World Cup are from this region, which I find shameful considering the subcontinent's passion for cricket, regardless of gender.

I do understand that many societal obligations are the primary reason why girls are not interested in cricket from the subcontinent. Looking at the amount of money these ladies can make from different leagues I guess the mindset will change in the future. I know BCCI has already started working on finding talent from the grassroots level.

But, a tournament similar to what the men are playing today will give a moral boost to those girls who are talented and yet do not get the opportunity. I think it will be the right time for the ACC to come up with something similar to what they are doing for the upcoming talents. What do you think guys?

In this match USA Women played with good performance and passion, but only one side won.  In which due to some hard work and mistakes, Zimbabwe women lost in this match.  Although their batsmen set a target of 179 in 50 overs, which was an easy target, USA Women batsmen managed to complete the target in 36 overs to win.  Zimbabwe Women batsmen did not perform well in this match, but if she played with speed and good performance and kept wickets, Ho SA Women would have been a tough target.  Congratulations to the USA Women on this win, may they continue to play strong and perform well in the next matches.  Zimbabwean women should focus on improving themselves so that they too can become strong.

Did anyone heard about the scandal involving Indian women's team player Jemimah Rodrigues? Her membership with the Khar Gymkhana cricket club (which is one of the most prestigious cricket clubs in Mumbai) has been terminated. The reason is that her father (Ivan Rordrigues) used the premises for converting poor people to Christianity. Religious conversions have become a hot topics in India recently, and the termination of membership has triggered a social media war between the left and right in India.

I don't think that we are seeing a similar performance by the United States team in this match. Zimbabwe women's team batting first has scored 179 runs. No one was able to play well today and they were all out in the 49th over. United States of America Women started this chase with a lot of professional batting by Disha Dhingra and Gargi Bhogle and they both made 87 runs first wicket partnership until Disha Dhingra was bowled by Mazvishaya. I know it is hard for Zimbabwe to win this match from here but who knows considering the bad form of USA, we may see a collaspe.

Today is the 3rd ODI match at Harare between Zimbabwe women and United States of America women. I am sure again today Zimbabwe will get the win as they had in the last two matches and in the last two matches, none of the matches were closer in which there was the chances for the United States of America to win those game. Yes, but in the first one day game there were some chances for the United States of America women to win this game but Zimbabwe women had chased the score before the 9 balls meanwhile after the end of the day, the win was for the Zimbabwe women.

I also really shocked and surprised the effort of Myanmar -W team in 1 st game of Singapore Women's T20I Tri-Series with Singapore -W team. Singapore-W team played quite poor in batting and did not set competitive target to Myanmar Batsman. Singapore-W team won toss and got a chance to take first bat or bowl and Singapore-W team elected bat first and gave bowl chance to Myanmar -W team. Singapore-W team made 90 runs in target and set to Myanmar -W team. Myanmar -W team did not play well in Asian Cricket Council Women's Premier Cup series and they lost all games in this series and now they bounce back with brilliant effort and beat Singapore-W team. M.San got a player of game award because she made 47 runs in 40 balls and hitted seven 4s. Aung batsman also batted good and she hitted five 4s and made 23 total runs. Today both will play next game what you think Myanmar -W again will win this game?

I watch first game of this tournament The 1st match between Singapore woman and Myanmar woman was took place at Singapore National cricket ground. Singapore woman won the toss and selected to batting first. Myanmar woman won 1st game by 7 wickets and 34 balls. Myanmar woman is good team but their effort is low than Kuwait team . Myanmar woman played bad in previous tournament. Myanmar woman total runs for 91 and won the match. Singapore woman total runs for 90 and lost the match. Their team still needs a lot of hard work to play a good match.The best bowling performance in the Myanmar woman team was by johannah pooranakaran scored 4 over conceded 32 runs and took 2 wickets. Congratulations to Myanmar woman for their upcoming matches. I was very disappointed for Singapore woman team member.

Myanmar Women surprised everyone by winning their first match (against Singapore Women). And they won by a very healthy margin of 7 wickets. This was quite odd, given the fact that Myanmar is considered as one of the weakest associate nations from Asia, while Singapore is usually considered as one of the strongest. All credit goes to the Myanmar bowlers. Thae Thae Aung took two wickets, while both the Singapore openers were run out. And in return, May San scored an unbeaten 47 to take Myanmar home.

Yes, I am following this T20 series and the hosts Singapore Women have played one match and lost it against Myanmar Women. Kuwait Women are the only unbeaten team till now as they have played one match against Myanmar Women and won that match.

Kuwait Women were able to make 136 runs and the successfully defended that score. Zeefa Jilani from Kuwait played a nice innings of 77 runs. He also bowled 4 overs and got a wicket too. Interestingly in his four overs, he only gave away 19 runs and her strike rate was 2nd best that was 4.75. Maria Jasvi had the best strike rate of 3.50 and she got two wickets too.

Myanmar Women vs Kuwait Women

Is anyone here who relate this new competition Singapore Women's T20I Tri-Series competition of these squads Singapore women, Kuwait women and Myanmar Women squad.

Today second match of this competition was finished and yesterday first match was played. In today's match among Myanmar women squad against Kuwait women squad, I know that these squad were participated in previous competition and Myanmar women squad displayed very bad performance just like today's match against Kuwait women squad. Kuwait women squad has begun this match first with batting Inning and their squad has managed 136 scores after playing 20 overs with lost of 9 wickets. In bowling inning, Myanmar women squad expressed their good strength and restricted them at low scores. But in batting Inning, their batters did not achieve all scores and faced defeat by 27 scores. Zeefa Jilani Kuwait women batter delivered amazing performance and she collected 77 scores after playing 53 deliveries.

Yeah. Their hard work definitely helped them immensely, but luck was a contributing factor too. They bared crossed the line against West Indies who dropped plenty of catches in their semifinal.

Kerr was the gamechanger plain and simple. Her contributions with both bat and ball throughout the series helped them in a big, big way.

I would give credit to the New Zealand team for playing such a good game at the final of the Women T20 cup. In the post match conference, Sophie Devine was excited and she told that she didn't think that all these players can ever play again together and it was a moment worth remembering for each one of the players who were involved in this victory. Also she was thankful to the coaches, without their efforts the team would not have performed.

When they arrived in the UAE, they weren't anywhere near being favorites and no one predicted that they would win the cup. It was their hard work that lead them to this win.

I think 158 runs is a good target in women side and if we look at targets from past games only few games had targets above 150 and in most of games target  runs set was below 150. This runs 158 made a good pressure to South Africa Batsman and they did not encounter it. Bowling line of South Africa team did not well and they did not stopped New Zealand for small runs. Both teams New Zealand women and South Africa women lost one game each and both effort was good in past games, South Africa team beated Australia-W team in 1 st semi final game and also England-W team. But in final game, they showed quite poor effort and they also lost previous year world cup against India -W and now again they lost.

New Zealand has won the final game. By the way, in 2024, I have noticed that South Africa always went very close through the win but couldn't achieve it for whatever reason they wanted. And named as the runner up. Not only in 2024 for many years, this same process is going on and i would call this bad luck is following them.
 
But in this year 2024, they were so close in men's cricket and in women's cricket. Both times they reached the final of the T20 World Cup but were named as the runners up. South African women lost against New Zealand and on the other hand, South Africa men's lost against India on 29th June at Barbados.

Pain of expectation weighs heavy as South Africa fall short again

In the last T20 World Cup South Africa played the final against India where they came very close to win and lost against India, similarly South Africa Women's team qualified for the T20 World Cup final against New Zealand Women's team where South Africa Women's team lost against New Zealand Women's team. South Africa has always failed in major tournaments so I thought maybe the girls from their country will bring fame for their country but the South African girls have also walked the same path that South Africa has followed. 

South Africa women's team competed against New Zealand women's team but should have improved their run rate from the start then maybe there would have been a chance.

I have never seen a team except the Australian being so agressive in their approach like the NZ team did yesterday. They lost the toss and were asked to bat first but their approach on that pitch was positive. They never made the crowd felt that this pitch is not a good scoring one, wherein they scored a good amount of runs considering it is a women cricket final match.

As usual the South African women side succumbed to the pressure as we know about their men side. I expected them to be in the same zone like the NZ team was in the final game. Ironically this was the same team that defeated the Australian earlier in the semifinals whereas the NZ team got defeated by the Australian in the playoffs.

I think that was an average score but that was pressure match and SA W team could not handle that pressure and they lose the match by 32 runs. Amelia Kerr was player of the tournament because she played well in almost all matches and she played major role for New Zealand Women team to win this World Cup . New Zealand Women team was one of the best team but they proved that they are winners and they are champions . Amelia Kerr gave all round performance,she took 3 wickets at crucial moment when team needed that and she made 43 runs in 38 balls and these runs were very important for this win. Collectively all team of New Zealand Women team played well and they won the match in the end . Congrats to the players of New Zealand Women team.

I expected a good fightback from SA but after top order fell, they crumbled. Bosch's wicket was turning point, against Australia she was big reason why SA won effortlessly, here required run rate was climbling up and she had to go for big shots, and she fell in doing so.

Kudos to New Zealand for putting huge score for SA to chase.
