I am the person who begins to turn out to be calm with my advancement. It's a very creating second while you're telling your accomplishments to other people however it'll ultimately make you think assuming you truly need to. The exhortation hence ought to be to be cautious with not uncovering of your secret word. Be more capable on the things you can't stand to lose.

All in all, I think we should all be careful of the type of information we drop online. You only become target when you’re always sharing information that you’re not supposed to share or inputting your information on the wrong sites.

If you are not sure about a particular site, it is best that you avoid it and not do anything with it, because these days your email and every other info (maybe wallet address etc). Can be used to trace and target you as long as they know that it is an active one. So, knowing what to keep secret is the best way to go.

I have never really experienced coins showing up in my wallet, but I have seen someone that talked about receiving coins out of nowhere.

You have a point but the long existence of cryptocurrency users or investors in the market cant be used to judge their capacity and understanding of an individual about the market cause it all depends on what the person devoted her time on not how long she's into cryptocurrency.
I am saying this base on some question which high ranking account member have asked before.
True, you have a valid point. Being an old member doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re going to know everything, it is all about what you have dedicated time, but someone who has been an old member is expected to know more than one that is just a newbie.

I do know people who are just only interested in Bitcoin because they are using it for transactions, they don’t go round the internet looking for investments to make. Such a person, if should develop interest for investments, would be lacking information in this area, and wouldn’t know what’s right for them to do and might even for a scam if they are not being careful.

Why would anyone even believe an email that says they won something, when they know for sure that they never even played any game of sort that would have possibly led to them being a winner of such?

Some people would know for sure that they didn’t participate in any activity that would have led to them winning money anywhere, but they would still be acting all greedy and would trust all those scammers that sends them the email.

I don’t pity people that falls for such a scam, seriously, what would make you fall for such easy scam?
It is only greediness that would lead to that. If you don’t want to be easily fooled, then you have to wise up and know when you’re being misled by scammers.
You have a point cause we have a situation where some people got scammed out of greedy habits and thirsty for free manna of something they didn't participate in to come their way. But we also have some people who are victims of this bad actor out of inexperience and it is something that has happened to me during the early days of my crypto journey when I invested in a site that promised Roi after 3months which seems legit to me then cause I was investing my BTC.

I guess having us fall as victims either being scammed or what is something that we see here in crypto a natural thing. But that is only acceptable if we are still new in the market, but if we have been already here for years, then its already expected that we are amore vigilant and ware on how not to fall for them. How can you see yourself winning in game when you are not even playing it or have not tried playing it before? The thing that will make you mostly fall from scams is having that wrong attitude to be greedy or want shortcuts to be instantly rich. There's no shortcuts in trading, you should learn it the hard way.

in the current case, suddenly a token that we don't recognize appears in our wallet, and sometimes we open it and even try to transfer it, from this our wallet will be at risk of theft. Therefore, apart from paying attention to key phrase storage, we also have to stay focused lest our curiosity will actually cause harm to our wallet.

There have been many incidents like this and there have been many victims.
we must really secure our wallets from things like that even though the tokens that suddenly appear from our wallets can't be controlled,
it's true that key phrases are very important and we must take care of them never share them with anyone
Its always a good thing to keep vigilant on everything that's happening in your wallet, what's going in and going out of that. Otherwise, you're late to recognize that you also fall as a victim. And that's the worst thing that we should always prevent or avoid to happen. However, being scammed or something that makes you a victim is sometimes hard to avoid, but if you have that presence of mind, more knowledgeable and have secured more your wallet, the chances for that to happen is very less. So always prioritize the safety of your wallet and investments.

There are many fake dex exchange website. That looks like the same real website. But it is not real one. So, be aware from these websites. When we open these types of website and connect our metamask wallet with this website they automatically get access to our wallet. So, the hackers can easily hack our wallet. These websites are very dangerous. So,  connect your metamask wallet with the real websites.

Likely a dust attack.

It's revealing the owner of that wallet and much better to just ignore or transfer your holdings from there to another. It's common these days if you have ever published your wallet somewhere.

Do not be showy to the public.

Specially on these days of social media, it's likely the glory of other people to share almost everything in their lives.

When creating a new crypto wallet, you are advised not to screenshot your private keys with your phone rather you should write them down and store them safely. It's only a fool that will not adhere to the instructions.
I do tell my friends that "before joining any online stuff'' make sure you know much about it before joining. Crypto is no longer safe as it used to before. Hackers are operating in different dimensions, finding whom to devour. A simple wallet connection can put your wallet address in danger.

It is good advice, I know some friends who have had their private keys hacked through their phone, and the viruses they launch see their temporary files and extract them there, the only thing I really recommend is that they make a layer for any wallet additional security 2FA, although it is somewhat tedious at times to use it, it is worth the effort to do it because it is money that is at stake, and our money cannot be left with weak security. And the other is, our QR code should also be saved on paper if possible, you never know if it could be lost and it could be worse, because if the phone is lost or something, it turns out to be very difficult to recover that code, it would take time. re-pass certain KYC items they may require.

Most people who are members of bitcointalk already know this. However the general public has no idea. Basically crypto was out for over 10 years and yet people  are still getting their funds stolen.

Even people who buy a hardware wallet, they end up just giving their seed to someone else. Or people who still use text messages as 2fa. Or people who sell their bitcoins for some scam NFT or scam alt coin.

It happens everyday because before you get into crypto you need to look into security first. However most people care about the profits first and security later.
Unfortunately this is just the way humans are, they look forward to what they can gain but they never think about what they could lose, and this is a huge mistake, because what we can earn in this market is just a potential while what we can lose already belonged to us, with this in mind it would make more sense for people to worry a lot more about all the ways in which they could lose their money and how to protect themselves instead of researching ways to earn money, but unfortunately this is not the case, and this is why we see people being scammed everyday in the forum.
Greediness is what we called it and those who have that sense in mind thinking to make money as fast as possible, the more likely those who lose more. Definitely, they are prone to get scam and surely they will take the bait for they will think this is the answer to their ambitious belief. While for us who knows the sentiment of the market, will make no chance to get scammed but for those who are innocent and greedy people, ain't no doubt about it.

As a piece of advice, knows your investment so well. Nothing could save us but just ourselves.
Correct, but it is still unfortunate that this still keeps happening, after all I could understand if newbies kept falling for scams when this market was just developing, but after so much time there is a lot of evidence that a great deal of the new coins that we have in the market and that promote themselves as the next big thing are nothing but scams, and newbies instead of learning from our previous experiences and do their best to avoid being scammed they do the opposite and get scammed out of their money at an amazing speed.

These words are at least common names along the way give basic advice that we must know and hold on to and implement more.  And we can get a lot of advice here, including sharing valuable experiences, or we can take our various programs this way.  Because we can easily get caught, reading and reminding us about everything will really help us to do what we have done.

There are in fact so much devices that are always stated here, many people also have said many advice so far about trust in the crypto industry, about investment, trading, risks, and other things. But in fact, there are still many people who are scammed, lost their money, regret so bad.
WHy?
Because sometimes, all advice are defeated by the willingness or desires of sweet money, moreover much money that may be got. So, some people may change their mind and not be willing to research again if the platform is a scam or legit, what they think is only the profits and money to take.
n the other hand, they may also think that the advice may not need for themselves because so far theya re not experincing by themselves.
Thta is why, never underestimateevery advice that is given, exery experince that is shared. They will be important for us tomake certain cosndierations.

Envy is fine, the real trouble is to attract peoples hacking abilities. That has been my number one concern at all times. I mean my money is in safe places, but even with one hack to my PC and they could probably find out about where my money is and that would be horrible. Even if they can't take it out, they would be able to do the best they could to try and I would probably be notified of their attempts and that is as scary as it gets. I do not want to be at the helm of a hacking attempt, I rather stay away from it as long as possible. People who beg you for money would be easy to just ignore, you do not have to respond at all.

If possible you don't need to share with people what you have of course imagine having a lot of bitcoins and spreading out this for sure many people would like to get that from you like giving links just to get your information always take care no one is safe in the cyberspace. As possible become a low key person only. Just shows up your achievement but not your money. There are a lot of scammers everywhere just to get your funds.
Well, there are some people who are fond of such thing, they always let people know how much they have and everything that they are into. They never keep quiet, they just make it obvious for everyone to know, and that automatically makes them a target for anyone who would have something in mind against.

Telling people how much you have in your crypto wallet is just as telling them how much that you have stored in your bank account which is very bad. Things like these are best to be kept secret and not revealed to anyone, except maybe your family that you can trust.
As long as money is involved, that will instantly gain the attention of the crowd. Particularly for those scammers who are always looking for target so they can make money from it. So its always safe to remain a lowkey person and never boast to anyone about your achievements so as not to make people envy on you. Especially when it comes to crypto. Because that means a huge amount so if you share to everyone that you have that in your wallet, that will make your life not safe from the people around as they won't stop if they cannot steal what you have.

Even without being told, I would seriously question anyone telling me that I won something, because how do you win something when you didn’t even apply for it or involved in anything that would have led to you winning it? So, I wouldn’t believe such a thing.

Although some people are still not well advanced on what’s happening on the internet and the tactics that scammers are using to scam people might fall for it.

Most things are all about experience, you never really get to know until you experience one, unless you’re someone who is always curious and doing research to learn as much as possible, then you can learn from the experience of others and when you encounter such experience, you would know how to go about it.
