When i mention it people become scared, they are fearful because
of the maths cryptography I.T and networking behind it. Was the same
when i used to talk about the internet to people, they are afraid
of the unknow, some even swear againt ever using technology.
Everybody is using smart phones now though, they wont be able to
keep their job if they dont, thats how productive technology is.
It would be because they are in a group they can joke about it
to allay their fears, make no mistake its fast aprroaching.

Did you explain by telling about cryptography and networking? It's the wrong way to explain. Most people do not grasp these concepts.
You should explain with concepts they understand. These concepts will do better:
Tell you get an extra $100 from the web monthly (outside of your job).
Ask how they prepare for financial crisis
Yeah I have tried talking to my co-workers about BTC, most have no idea what it is or they misunderstand it completely. Of coarse not one of them is willing to do their own research on the topic, so I have just stopped talking about it to them completely.

its normal, this world have many kind of people,but just take a look back on few age ago when people laughing on Orville Wright and Wilbur Wright's ideas about making plane,and at the end this idea realized
Sometimes I feel same people think I am stupid and live in imaginary world when I explain them about Bitcoin and its advantages.It is kind of laugh what they make but one day I will laugh of them surely.
Bitcoin is still very young and majority of people dont know much about it.They dont fully consider it as money and still are waiting for information and acceptance widely before embrace Bitcoin.That day isn't very far when everyone will love Bitcoin.
Don't worry...A time will come when only you will laugh at them. But my suggestion is that don't tell your colleagues about your bitcoin earning..keep it secret.
It happened to me too, but after i show thousands of games at my steam library & many books from amazon that i bought with bitcoin (i bought steam wallets & amazon gift cards), i'm the one who laugh 
But, they think i got those from gambling & illegal activity
Better don't tell them about bitcoin now, because when something bad happen, they'll blame you (even it's not your fault). When bitcoin success in future, you can laugh at them as much as you can.

I don't understand why it is so easy for people to hear just the bad news and keep that in mind. A friend of mine who I recently talked to about bitcoin after a long time again knows little to nothing about it, yet he believed that btc was used by the french terrorists to obtain guns. Really? This is a bad joke. Of course I told him that the bad guys would much easier use cash than a complicated cryptocurrency that isn't even 100% anonymous. Made me sad and killed all bitcoin conversation for the evening and probably for a longer time. Perhaps he is just butthurt that he didn't get into btc when it was time. He does watch a lot of tv and reads newspages on the net, but not to the point of disbelieving what is presented to him. These kind of encounters make me think we are really only at the beginning and everyone getting into btc in the next 5 years is still an early adopter.

People are not interested in how money work, where does come from the value etc.

It's alright, I mean... you have to think about what's in your best interest in the long run of things... and if you truly believe that bitcoin is the next future currency and have a passion for it, then why does it matter about what anyone else thinks? Fuck 'em... Just make sure you don't invest more than you can lose on this type of stuff though, because bitcoin could fall at any given time really with the volatility in the market.
You probably shouldn't be caring honestly.You could take some time out to get them interested in bitcoins as well.I'm sure if you stop getting annoyed by them and explain them how beautiful the bitcoin world is,they'll start getting deeper into it.Don't get offended,convince them.
Just let them laugh, they will realize their mistake after you can show them what you can buy with bitcoin later, if you want you also to show them your bitcoin money and then calculate it to your currency

Trust me it's not gonna work. A few of my friends still nags bitcoin is dead because GOX crashed a few years ago. It's better to keep this to ourselves.
What kind of guys do you work with ? They seem like they're from the 80's.Those old folks .I don't belong to a very developed country but very technically advanced and all around are tech savy guys.They all are aware of bitcoins infact,when I talk about bitcoins they're always curious to know more .

I have telling people around me about bitcoin, how I gets money and can buying physical goods but they just wondering and interesting in bitcoin but they do not want start trying using bitcoin by their self. They think bitcoin it's something really hard to deal with.
