My worst decision is that at the very beginning I wanted to earn a lot of money and lost a lot of money in gambling.

My worst decision currently this 2017 is i tried to gamble in sports because i had this favorite team and they are once strong and i bet half of my Bitcoin the outcome was the opposite of what i am expecting so i am still disappoint until now because my team loss and my Bitcoin is decreased to 50%.

ouch. well that's gambling dude. It could've gone both ways though and you placed your bet on your favorite team. even if sports betting is one of the most secure ways to earn in gambling because of a lot of things you can analyze, there's still the prospect and possibilities of upsets but that's life dude. that happened to me a lot of times already though I can say that i've earned more than what i've lost

I think my worst decision I've ever made a years past was when bitcoin dropped into 200$ I never buy any of it even a single cents of dollar,
it was really painful and regrettable to me, why I didn't listen to my friend. And now here I am newbie in this forum but before I always ignored my friend to sigh up in bitcointalk.org I just decided to follow him when I saw He is really earning bitcoin. Sad

My worst mistake with bitcoin as well the digital currency network is wasting of precious time due to lack of understanding. I came to know about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies years back, and planned to invest last year starting but due to some negativity dropped the plan, for the same I feel bad. This year starting I started using it.

My biggest mistake was to hold for so long. Now they were all stolen(, and the remaining 4BTC wallet identifier is lost). But I DON*T GIVE A FUCK.

My worst bitcoin desicion I've ever made was not buying enough bitcoins when it's price was low, spending them all on gambling sites expecting to multiply them quickly, and there'a a time that I need money though it's so hard for me to sell it but I have no choice anyway. Selling your bitcoins make you lose the opportunity to earn more. So yeah, lesson learned! Now I have enough money to buy more and hold it for good.  Smiley

The worst decision was not buying enough bitcoins when the price was low in the past and spending them on gambling sites hoping to multiply them quick which resulted in total loss to me and now I am left with nothing in my hands.

I, too, lost a lot of money on gambling in the hope of easy getting rich and realized that you need a lot of patience so that you could really get a lot of money.
Well most of us lose money in gambling trying our luck to win in any games .But it is a lesson for those who doesn't earned and stop playing gambling .I lose most of my money on HYIPS or PONZI schemes when i am starting i invest first on that sites rather than waiting and learning to trade .

A deposit of ~17 bitcoins and 4000 EUR to MtGox in January of 2014...

That's a bummer. Well, that's basically one of the risks you will have to take whenever anyone wants to invest into something. There is those risks that we cannot avoid no matter what we do, if it happens it happens. No one could have for seen it to happen at that time, but it was foreseeable that it could happened and MtGox was not able to mitigate the threat.

Three weeks ago I converted my Bitcoin when it reached the $1265 level...after listening to a friend's analysis that Bitcoin will fall due to the announcement from Bitfinex that they stopped accepting cash deposits due to their banking issues. Sad that instead of withdrawing in value Bitcoin instead made a big rally and is now heading to the $1600 level. Correction can be due but I already lost some money. I can feel that am not really so lucky with Bitcoin conversion and should have just left it in my wallet.

Sorry for you but don't feel so sad because if you have made a profit even at $1265 then be happy that you made some money and you did not lost them.

We can't predict when the price will be increased or not because we can't affect it but big exchanges are doing it.

It's moments like this that serves as a proof to me that I'm actually doing great not doing anything with my bitcoins. I don't listen to rumors and news. I just watch the market. Regardless of the movement, I don't sell at all. I only sell when I need money. If the market is quite high such as what we have now, and I have to spend money for something in the foreseeable future, then I sell some coins. I don't do that sell at high then use the same money to buy bitcoins at low price.

Selling your bitcoins makes you lose the opportunity to sell at an even higher price so I just hold it.

I have not made any sort of mistake except the fact i wasn't able to purchase the coin in the early days. And maybe another mistake might be that i was waiting for bitcoin's price to go really up and didn't sell at the right time and i couldn't earn the potential 200$.

Worst decision was to spend some coins back in 2015 when it worth around $230 to pay some bills and using my money to buy some stocks. The stocks lost value and I sold it and spent the rest of the money on a vacation trip. I burnt about 60 coins that way.

The worst bitcoin decision that I've ever made is when I came to ride the dump scenario last year. I didn't expect that the price will get back to higher one.

Because I was still a newbie way back that time and I was able to have to 4 bitcoins by that time and I did sold it at lower price.

If I'm not mistaken I sold it at $600 and I really regret it that I sold it earlier because my feelings was pushing me to sell it.

And it was really a worst thing that I've ever made.
