The worst mistake I've done with bitcoin is not knowing about it when it was cheap, but I guess this is the most common issue here. Seriously, just imagine yourself bumping most of your money into bitcoin the first day? If only I had a personal time-machine.
Is not knowing about it when i had money to invest on it! Even just 2 bitcoins it could've gotten a long way. My regret with bitcoin is not starting earlier in my life. Since i don't trade or do stock investment then, i didn't care much. But since i have gotten into it, i regret not starting earlier
the big mistake I did about bitcoin was take a risk at hyip sites, I invested a lot and did not return me. Another, I did not mind the bitcoin before.
My worst mistake is I didn't believe what my friend say about bitcoin, although he has shown me the profit he got at that time. I really regret about it and when finally I believed him, the price bitcoin was dropping.
My worst mistake i did with my bitcoin is when i done trading and after im trying to withdraw my BTC but it happens that i cant because my account in one of trading site is not verified yet.
Stopped mining in 2012 because i thought it was going nowhere 
I sold my old Laptop with wallet files on it, not bitcoin thank god but a lot of altcoins 
my biggest bitcoin fault is that I do not have to pay for my money because the price is high when I'm older and I'm just a little bit disappointed that I feel like I'm a big one.
My worst mistake is different than yours. I didn't search deeply what Bitcoin is although I heard it in 2012. I still regret for this. I believe that I would invest in Bitcoin if I know what Bitcoin is.

my worst mistake was always being too emotional when it comes to trading. which have always made me make irrational decisions which turn out to be wrong and cost me money.
didn't buy it in the right time
My biggest mistake is when I didnt listen to my friend telling about it when it was still 100$ worth and I did not buy because i taught its just a scam
I invested in money making groups in facebook which is my first time of getting scammed.
Worst mistake was not investing in Bitcoin back in 2012 even after having the 'feeling' it has potential
When i didn't hodL my bitcoin .. And trade it to instant money ..

The worst mistake I made with Bitcoin is... Buying cloud mining hashrate. I bought 0.02 GH/s CEX.IO hash rate voucher at SEOClerk for $2 USD - or maybe $1 USD. I thought with 0.02 GH/s, I would be making a profit in half a year.. And I was wrong.
Well, I bought using the free five dollars coupon. So that does not count as making a mistake with Bitcoin. However, the slow profit lead me to buying hashing power from CEX.IO and later on.. ZeusHash using the Bitcoin I earned from signature campaign.. Again, I thought I would be making profit in a few months. Till today, I'm sure I have not make any profit from both the company yet. CEX.IO stopped their cloud mining operation and.. ZeusHash.. What do you think.?

First edit since this thread was posted. Anyway, after reaching more than 100 pages (103 to be exact), today I will list down some common ones.
1. Gambling
2. Not knowing Bitcoin earlier.
3. Participating in HYIP & Wrong trading technique (both Altcoin and day trading).
4. Sending to wrong address & lost of wallet.
5. Cloud mining & scammed trade.
I am not going to post in meta because I do not want trouble. Hopefully someone with a much higher position will look into this matter.

Me too. Like you when I first encounter about those bitcoin mining site. Ive spent my all bitcoin to buy thos kind of hashrates that those websites promoting. And then after a month the mining site suddenly shutdown. Lately I discovered that thos cloud mining sited are fake.
