Just about any chick flick is bad.

Sat through "bridges of Madison County" with the wife and it was all I could do to keep from hurling half digested popcorn all over the room.

"Joe" was bad. "The Lone Ranger" was horrible.

Most of those B horror movies and sci-fi are bad. "Hatchet" for example. Got to agree with "After Earth" being bad. That Smith kid cannot act but thinks he's a hot shot now.

"The devinci Code" and the first Hobbit movie made me sleep in the theatre.

john carter wasn't so bad. i'm not sure why it didn't resonate with people; i thought it was decent.

I thought it was better than the Transformers crap and other such crappy superhero movies they keep peddling out.

was john carter a super flop

Yeah it was, but I don't get the hate on that movie. It wasn't brilliant or anything but it was far from crappy.
i wasted my 2 hour for watching this one flop movie hope we will improve something good in next movie

best of luck to
Director: Andrew Stanton
Story by: Edgar Rice Burroughs
Screenplay: Mark Andrews, Michael Chabon, Andrew Stanton

I didn't think they was going to make a sequel. They usually don't when a film bombs or doesn't make much money, but sometimes they can turn a profit on box office bombs on the dvd/blu ray sales etc.

Most of them. I don't like musicals at all. Only saw Sweeney Todd, because some friend desperately wanted to see it (don't ask me why Huh ). Well, it even surpassed my expectation... in a negative sense. Smiley

I watched the movie just because of Johnny Depp. Probably, your friend also watched it for the same reason. Before the movie was released, there was quite a lot of marketing... it helped the movie to gather more than $150 million from the box-office.

I didn't even know Sweeney Todd was a musical.

Sweeney Todd is a musical movie... but there are dialogues here and there to make it more tolerable to the normal viewer. One of the reasons why I finished watching it, rather than walking out.  Grin

Aren't most movie musicals like that? They don't usually sing the entire dialogue but just randomly break out into song.

This was supposed to be a commedy horror... I'm so surprised it has a 7,6 out of 10 in imdb.com

I just reminded to myself a worst movie EVER. EVER.

And I ever forgot how bad it was - as it was so bad that my brain wasn't able to store a data for this title.

Batman & Robin

Gotta agree. Mr. Freeze was awesome! Chill! Lol.

Batman & Robin

Batman & Robin would have been utter crap. But some remarkable acting by Arnold Schwarzenegger saved the movie in my opinion. The others (George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Uma Thurman... ) were all wasted.

/agreed

Arnold pulled this movie out of the crapper.

For me it's Gravity...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1454468/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
even the rating is good and won 7 oscars... I don't know I don't like it.

I'd give 9.8 / 10 for the special effects, 4/10 for the acting and 3/10 for the story. But anyway.... everyone watched the movie for its special effects only.... and I was watching a 3D movie after almost three years!

yeah I agree with you... they good in special effect but worst in the story.... lol I was watching it in 4D cinema, not to much effect for the chair just a little bump, even almost fall to sleep.

You mentioned the ridiculous car explosions in movies. There was a myth busters episode where they tried to blow up a propane tank, and it wasn't anything close to what they show in the movies.
They burned it, drilled it to make the steel weaker, and even shot it with a riffle and each time it just made a small flame burst, comparable to a molotov cocktail.

Same with gasoline, how often do you see gas station explosion that simply obliterates everything in 50m radius, or oil barrels exploding like they were filled with TNT?

I've seen a few car fires and they NEVER exploded.

Only thing I liked about gravity was special effects , plot was not good though .
