Trading is a very difficult thing, especially when classic technical analysis not works as far as fundamental one. Only whales know when the price move on.
let alone daily trading sometimes the situation is not good and difficult to profit. the current situation is difficult to trade because the market is still often up and down and it is not clear when it will stabilize. We all know that the collapse of the cryptocurrency market will affect all users of cryptocurrency. This year was the sharp fall of cryptocurrency due to falling coins especially bitcoin and ethereum.
Maybe this year is not the worst, because we still have bounty activities to make money, and all crypto is still listed on the exchange. If we lose it next year, it might be the worst!

We cant make assurance that we come out of trading in a possible result. And as for you, still you got a good profit but only less. But consider it to be a good catch. Because most people making trades in bear market ends up loosing all their funds.
You are not the one, this year was hard for trading also all my holdings become nothing, still holding and believe in miracle
Yeah, anyone that is making money in this difficult market is either very lucky or an incredible trader, almost a genius in the activity, but for the rest of us regardless of our abilities as traders this year has been terrible and there is no indication this is over, since the price could go even lower and we could lose even more money at the end of the year.
Yeah trading 2018 is very difficult to move so basically i hold it in a long time too and i never sell it until its time market value grows,.
Your luck depends on how you keep or take more patience to survive,i am practically doing this and sense 2018 is having in deep loss.

Trading cryptocurrencies is quite risky, especially if you are a day trader. Sometimes you wait too long and then the coins go to the bottom, sometimes on the contrary too early to sell. Many factors are unpredictable, but it is always worth working on the same scheme, even if it sometimes does not give you a profit.
Not even on the part of trading, but on the part of the holding company this is the worst year. I know a lot of people wanted to start selling coins this year, but the market wouldn't let them.
I know this is not very comforting but you are not alone, everyone is having a terrible year because the market is not giving profits to anyone, if a person has a dollar as a profit during the whole year I can assure you that trader is doing better than the majority of the users in this forum, because even if a profit of a dollar is very low it is way better than the losses that we have sustained.

Try to put some fund in a stable coin - 10-20% - like USDT, TUSD, USDC, etc.
Having a stable crypto that doesn't fluctuate much vs the USD is a life saver for my portfolio.
Plus, I can move and buy coins/token when they dip hard.

I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%
NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS
Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy
Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Well, what you did was good, you trust altcoins and their capabilities to become one of the top cryptos out there in the cryptospace. The current market situation is the only problem you had and you better be aware of it.
This year was hard for everyone. For traders in particular. Many people have lost a lot of money due to the fact that the market is falling all year. However, good traders have learned how to make money even on falls.
You lose a lot of money and I suggest to you to be patience. Because that is one of the characteristics of good trader and if you have that you can get more money because you have patience to wait the price to increase and you can selo it to make profit.

I think it is not only rtrading which is suffering from the negative market behavior this year but almost all cryptoactivities including investments and bounty projects. The negative influence that the downtrend is giving to the market, also negatively affects the profit of the individuals taking their interest away and by that, making the situation even worse.
