I think this is more of a personality issue. The only real way for one who doesn't save to learn to save is through experience. The experience of missing out big time due to lack of planing and saving.

Bitcoin can be a way of saving but not intended kids.because bitcoin is hard to understand any young age.maybe if they already reach the right age to saving money it can be explained to them.

Bitcoin could teach everyone how to treat and safe money or how to invest it to just increase savings, that's logic that investing is something which needs patient and logic thinking will give you some good capabilities and konwledge for future.

Furthermore from saving, bitcoin teaches children to invest and how to get a profit in an invested investment.
I think this is relative, because children are the reflection of their fathers. That way if the father are spenders, their children for sure (unless of course isolated situations) will be spenders. And the same in the reverse situation. But if you is people who is always makes economies, and Bitcoin is a way for you to save money and make investments, it is for sure that your children have a good chance of learning this, as long as you allow them to learn about Bitcoin as soon as possible.
Of course there are parents today dealing with crypto currency and earning in an unofficial way, then it will be necessary to involve children on their own. Well, if the crypto currency is legalized around the world, then I'm sure that your programs will teach ustars so that the children know how to work with the crypto currency.

Maybe at an early age, there are many strategies you can do for your cousins to save money. Maybe you shouldnt give them the money directly and just'put their in their savings bank or piggy bank.

Teach them the proper of bitcoin when they already much of the digital currency world, take bitcoin as a serious subject that it should not be taken to kids at a very young age without proper knowledge of how bitcoin works or how you can invest in bitcoin.

I do not think so. When you say kids, these are around 15 years old or below. They are really young to know about bitcoin and it would be hard for them to understand it without proper discussion. Because me in highschool I already heard about bitcoins but I never really understood it until college with prices are already spiked up. When discussing and teaching about savings to kids, the most easy way is by talking about saving through maybe letting them realize that in order to get what they want like candies they needed to save.

there's a lots of ways to teach children how to save. and I don't believe bitcoin will help them to save money because bitcoin is a huge amount that can not be entrusted to children
I am not agree mate because bitcoin is best in all respects if for elders or for children. See if our parents will use bitcoin and they will make money through it and will be able to provide us all what we want then we will be inspire from their smart source and way of saving so that we will also try to use it and make money from. I love to have my own saving with bitcoin because my parents use to save with bitcoin.

Great way, there are many other ways to teach them that saving is important, maybe what you mean is to get them to invest.
Bitcoin is not an idea way of teaching kids how to save. It will be much better to teach them with other process than using Bitcoin, cause they are still kids, and shouldn’t be involved in such things. By the way, Bitcoin is not even a way for saving money, it’s kind of an investment to make more profit, unless you plan to teach them Investment.
Actually I think that Bitcoin is a good way for kids to learn saving because of one big reason and that is Bitcoin is not ideal to be use as a currency therefore forcing the kids to hold their Bitcoins. Like stocks and mutual funds they have the same effect but you don't actually expect the kids to create their own accounts you as their guardian must be the one who will open their investing accounts, you can give it as a gift they can use for their future. I know its not your typical gift but it can be good for them in the long run.

If children have been taught to save in bitcoin early on there is a possibility of guarantee for their future, I think children should be accompanied so that the use of bitcoin not in one use right. There is nothing wrong with teaching children to save in bitcoin because when it's grown up he is ready to harvest and become a rich young and guaranteed future.

I do not think bitcoin helps children save money, why?
because the bitcoin price is so overwhelming that the children know about it must make him wasteful, because children still have a lot of desire to buy milkatu he wants.  Smiley
It depends on the age of a certain kid, some kids really in to a technology and are smart enough so I think some would understand the concept of it. I myself, just letting my kids save on their own by having their own coin bank so at least at young age they would become aware of it, but in teaching bitcoin I think they cannot yet understand it.

Bitcoin has nothing to do with saving or teaching people about money. It is strictly a casino investment scheme (a very successful one)

I think 50% yes and 50% no.Yes bitcoin can teach kids to save because once they save they can get more bitcoin.Because the value of bitcoin is increasing. No because once they can get more bitcoin in saving and when they change it in real money they can buy all what they want to have.

So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
Bitcoin can help also kids to save but it is not the best way to teach them. It is not familiar to the kids so they hard to get what it is and how to save from bitcoin. Maybe teach them in other way or in a simpliest way.

For me it's not a good idea,as there is no logic. Bitcoin can rise and can fall. And this has nothing to explain, we need more easy examples.

That is a good idea. Letting them have an account here at Bitcointalk forum is a good idea too. Why? Because you will teach them how to earn money just through posting here. You will also be able to teach them how to handle their money and manage all expenses. I mean, separate needs from your wants. Needs where you will have to really spent money for it for a cause of living while wants are those unnecessary expenses like buying excess clothes or foods, or drinks just because it is on promotions, traveling to different places more than once a month. It is fine to treat yourself or pamper yourself, but just do it occasionally, once very month or once very two months. That is how people manage their money well. Teach them on how to be contented on what you have. If the kid is really a spender, why not try telling them the idea of earning here, so instead of being addicted in spending money, they will get addicted on earning money.

Maybe it is and maybe not because as what you've said, they are only kids and the kids nowadays is focused more on gaming and playing even if you teach them bitcoins I think they would be a better bitcoiners or a bet hustler. There are many pros and cons so I don't think it would help them to save if they are only still a kids.
