Unfortunately not, if you see the impact of the credit cards; where the people spends more than if they are using paper money, the facts like the eight decimal digits and the facility of spending will not help about the control of spend. But i think bitcoin can help much about how the currencies works and how the cryptos can be better than paper money.

I think it will depend how how old the kids are because if they are like around 5 years old they will forget it and just buy some candy afterwards but i think it will help if they are around 17 year old.

Everything has its two sides one is when its used for good purposes and second is when its used to bad purposes. Giving knowledge about bitcoin to your cousins is a good idea but if we see negative side of doing it then bitcoin is used for illegal activities, bitcoins is used in almost all gambling sites, nowadays bitcoins is used to pay online porn shows and stuff. Warn them about it and also use parental control in their computers.

They would help kids about saving so they know that saving is a important thing. If we do that we could have less panick selling in the future xD.

They will also earn more money because then they will know something about bitcoin so they will use it.

Thought better. But don't you think mining bitcoin is lesser worth with cloud mining. Seems ROI lesser amount than thought.
Cloud mining of bitcoin in todays world is mostly a scam or ponzi scheme. Whatever one or two actual cloud mining services are there, there return on investment is so low that it is far better to have it them for your self. Yes there are some sites which are genuine cloud mining. Note, any cloundmining company like gainbitcoin and bitcoingwothfund are first class example of bitcoin ponzi scheme. Thus stay away from the cloud mining scheme. Purchasing bitcoins regularly with your monthly budget is better than cloud mining.

Bitcoin is great way to teach the kids about the saving. You could show them that no matter how small amount they invest at moment regularly, after few years down the line they will have great amount of returns from the saving.

I think bitcoin does not teach you how to save, but it teaches you how to use the money a lot and reasonably. Like the people I know after they joined Bitcoin they became a different person, they were generous in everything and they always used the money reasonably. However, they also made a lot of money from Bitcoin so bitcoin taught them how to spend money.

I doubt if some kids will be interested about saving if you will use bitcoin because bitcoin is a little bit complicated for them. If you really want to teach kids how to save you should use a simple example and something that will interest them.

I don't think kids are going to be interested on this matter. At a young age, they wouldn't normally take part in this kind of ecosystem since the only concern they care for is to enjoy their childhood and to study. Though they are already taught to start saving at a young age they still under the control of their guardians.

Bitcoin will soon become the official currency.
In my opinion, that could be the best way to teach children how to save some money.
On the other hand, I can not claim that this is true because if you have money - you buy things, whether it is the euro, dollar or something else, that is money, and money is easy to spent, unfortunately.

Instead of study Bitcoin, why not study computer courses like programming and developing?
I agree, it's enough to teach the children the basic principles and to use their minds, then they will understand, that bitcoin is good and they need to understand and use it ... or that they are not interested in it and maybe they need to do something else

So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

I have read somewhere that a school student bought some bitcoins when price was very low now he is millionaire so that should be a good idea to teach kids about bitcoins and also parents should advice them to invest some of their savings into bitcoins. If they hold it for few years then they can cover their college fees and get higher education as well. In short, they can cover their future expenses without any worries.

That's brilliant idea pal, go teach your young relatives about saving money or doing investment so in the future they will reap something sweet in the future  Smiley and kids these days need to be educated about how to maintain financial and gaining some too. so they will appreciate money that they have  Smiley

I Think it will because if they see you can make millions without doing anything and just waiting for your bitcoins to go up then it will probably motivate them to also not give anything out and see for myself.

That would be a great idea. Bitcoin is all about keeping and letting the value grow. The thing about bitcoin is the advantage lies on not being spent. So, when kids figure that out they will value bitcoin more as well as their own money.

It will surely help kids understanding about saving. They will understand at a young age that saving can give you a lot of things and much better then not saving something.

Kids will i think have a little problem understanding bitcoin, but they will know that saving is the best one with this.

Bitcoin may not teach about savings directly but perhaps the use of it will. For me, it has taught me how to save because for the first time in my life, I've been earning through bitcoin. It has made my become conscious of my finances and expenses. It has taught me how to save because I am now mindful of the financial decisions that I make. Perhaps in a way, once kids learn about finances through bitcoin, it may teach them a thing or two about saving.
I even came across a post that says students were getting into Bitcoin studies after seeing how amazing it has been this year, but sincerely, that’s not a course and I won’t advise any student to waste their time saying they’re studying. Instead of study Bitcoin, why not study computer courses like programming and developing? That way you will know that you’re becoming an all-rounder.

And coming to the whether it helps kids learn about savings or not, I’m saying no to that, cause when you say kids you mean little children and I won’t advise a parent to get their children involved in such.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency.
So let it function like one.
You have to use it for trade or investment purpose.
Its becoming expensive day by day, how can it teach kids about savings.
Instead kids will ask their parents why they have not saved some bitcoins for their future.
It is ok to introduce children's but its too early to teach kids bitcoins, bitcoin is quiet complicated term to understand.
Instead we can present bitcoin as a role model of saving and its output.
