Everything must have a logical end and for this we are given a piece of time for life so that we learn to appreciate many things.

Death gives life meaning as it offers a limited time here on earth. It's either we leave a good legacy or bad is always up to us. Living forever really hits hard when all your loved ones died and you are left alone.

Sure I would choose to live forever. I'd even sell my soul to Devil for the eternal life. May be that's because I'm still too young  Grin

i have fixed income pension and a desire to see history occuring!

If I personally want to live forever, but it can not be us humans there is a youth and old age, we humans can choose and determine what we want in this world, but we all must know that the human name in the end must be all we will die.

No I won't want to live for a lifetime over and over again. I wish to rest, take a vacation away from the world, the very state of existence. Sleep in one piece is the plan, not live forever. But thanks

It's about defying age and death which is equal to immortality. I don't think living forever isn't boring and challenging.  Cheesy

Nope. Good things must come to an end. Living for too long might lost it's purpose in life and not looking forward to a new day.

it is impossible for me to live forever, even if I want to live forever. all the strength that is in us is getting weaker. because every living thing will all be mortal. the eternal is God the creator of nature.

A few decades more will be interesting, but, more time is not possible with the current technology.
Our brain has a limit on the storage of information, over time, decades of life will be forgotten.
Our brain has no limit on storage, at least none that I'm aware of. And even if it did that wouldn't be an argument for not expanding your life span. We tend to forget irrelevant information as early as one day into the future, so nothing would be changing.

Living forever is not the option, all life has to have the end. But on the other hand how would we live it , well that could be better. I just had a conversation with few friends who has a great life from celebrities. And we got to conclusion that Hugh Hefner with his 91 years lived one of best lives in last century.
