As much as I want to relocate abroad in order to pursue a better life and seize better opportunities, there are still factors I need to take into account, such as finding a suitable area for relocation, knowing that I would have a consistent source of income to support our living, and whether or not I would be able to adapt to the culture of the country I would choose. Currently, I feel more secure staying in and living in our country because there are so many online opportunities available. The growing issue with the inflation crisis is the only thing I have to deal with, but I'm certain that we are not the only nation going through this catastrophe. If we decide to take a chance on our path, moving to another country would be another hardship and struggle that we might encounter.

So yes, would you consider moving abroad for a better future? Would you try to find a way to stay in your country, either through online work or by accessing all possible opportunities?

A few years ago I would have taken a better opportunity abroad in a heart beat. As long as it's a good and reliable offer I think it's a good idea to move, if our social situation allows. Unfortunately my personal situation changed since covid and I need to stay closer to my family. My dad is already old and in not good health anymore, he still lives alone but it's getting close to the point where we need permanent care for him. My sister is living further away and it basically comes down to me taking care of him. That's why even for the best offer I would probably have to decline and stay in my country. Maybe there could be an option to not relocate and work remotely from home if the job allows it.

He works like a slave in the galleys, from morning to evening.
I don't want this kind of life. Even with the opportunity to go to my brother, I am not ready to devote my life to work and turn into a slave.
I live by the principle: "Where I was born, there I am useful." Nothing can be better than your homeland, where even the walls of your home help.

Especially this aspect of a white collar job is what I see as a bone of contention: how can I work from Monday to Friday, starting from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day, and each day I close from work, I still have to get enough rest to prepare for the next day? Well, there are people who are very willing to do it, but for me, I am not clamoring for it. I want a career that allows me to have enough time for myself and my family, not one in which I will be working tirelessly for the success of another man's company. Just as you said, there is no place that a person can enjoy like their personal homeland, because there are some opportunities and freedoms that you can enjoy in your homeland that you might not be able to have in a foreign country. @Lovesmayfamilis, I love freedom a lot, and having to travel to a place where I will be restricted to some things is really what I don't want to experience.

In my country, as an indigene with an entrepreneurial aspiration, if you want to start a business or open a small company for yourself, it will cost you less compared to what foreigners would spend to do their business in my country, so definitely if I go to other countries, it will not really be that easy to cope. All that is the reason why I prefer to remain in my country doing what I can do best; if I become too successful, I can extend to international 😎

Opportunity wise, yes. Especially if you can cope up with the changes from doing so;lifestyle, culture, and all. Problem is that not all people have the resources to do so; funds as capital to sustain living. Also with homesickness in most of the instances. Also, an individual has a choice to thrive for betterment in your home country which removes the idea of moving overseas. Morally as well would be a factor indeed such that choosing to help the economy of other country than helping your own. It would matter on your perspective as an individual to see both advantages and disadvantages of moving abroad. But if it is to a bigger country, I'd consider attaining a higher level of attainment to my career.

I once discussed with my partner about moving abroad, but he disagreed with that and said he didn't want to be away from his parents, especially now that my mother-in-law only lives alone.
based on the conclusions of my post, actually, I really wanted to move to other countries and change the fate of my family, but after being tied to marriage, it was impossible.
That would be the least of my worries, to be honest. I already lived six years away from my parents and only visited on Christmas and Easter vacations. I'm quite introverted and am used to being alone with my partner.

My partner and I actually live in our own house and each of our parents live in different houses but are still in the same city. you and your partner are actually quite lucky to get used to being away from your parents but not for my partner, especially since the departure of my father-in-law, she (my mother-in-law) looks very sad and often sick.

Apart from that, another problem that my partner and I have considered to move aboard is the problem of income, how do we make money in other countries? To be honest, it feels like it's adding to our minds LOL.

I see no reason to, country I live is so dirt cheap in terms of basic necessities that everywhere else would appear expensive to me. If at all, I would migrate somewhere better in my own country, online work is best.

Depending upon the area you are living within your country, let say for my country as for example there are different location of cities with their rates of high expensive in living. Sometimes I have seen people who relocating from the city where they lived to the lower part where they can be able cope with all the bills without living stressful life.
Relocating to Abroad doesn't only required you learn additional language but also required additional income to foot the expenses moreover if the country you are relocating to doesn't used same currency with you. Meaning you have to also work hard to still meet up the living standard of that country your relocating and most learn new things which includes; Language, culture, laws and ways of living.

I advise you to keep working as usual and try a side job online because now I see the need for online work has increased rapidly and many companies need a lot of freelance employees. You can use that method or you say that you have bitcoins, I think you can try to learn about trading while you work as usual. Of course, it will give you a chance because you don't have to go anywhere after work.

You have to make many considerations because it is not easy to move abroad without any preparation immediately. You also have to consider the cost of living abroad, which may be higher than in your country. If you can hone your skills to get a job in your country, I think it will be better than moving to another country. You also have to compete with people from that country for a job and if you don't have an advantage over the average people, it may be difficult for you to get the job you want.

The job market has become extremely competitive in the past few years, while the increasing cost of living and low wages are forcing people to move abroad for a chance at a better future. Personally, I believe the economic conditions in Greece have been deteriorating; groceries, rent, and fuel have skyrocketed while the available income keeps shrinking. People with degrees are struggling to find jobs in their field that pay above the minimum wage and offer benefits such as paid vacation and humane working conditions.
How much does tradesman earn in Greece? I bet they earn more than 90% of people who have got college degree. We have to understand that world changes, there are a lot of people with university degrees but there are rarely any jobs available for them. We need more tradesmen, that's why you see plumber earning tons of money today than the person who has got masters degree.

Moving abroad isn't an easy decision; there are several factors to take into account, with the most important one being the language barrier. I only speak English; moving anywhere apart from the USA and UK would be a huge challenge because I'd have to learn a new language from scratch. Moreover, you'd have to take into account the increasing living costs of Germany compared to Greece, which means that you must have saved enough money until you manage to get settled in one place.
Actually, if you are in IT, you can pretty much work anywhere with just English. You can also live and work without knowing much German in Germany but definitely you need to know it at at least A2 or B1 level. It's not hard to get settled in Germany, you can't imagine how huge is demand on workers in some companies, for example, DHL even offers apartment and car to workers from EU countries because they can't really find workers because it's not comfortable job.

The answer to this question depends on the person asking it as well as the economic climate of their own nation. Undoubtedly, before choosing to travel overseas, have you thought about the taxes and cost of living in that nation in comparison to your own? You know, sometimes people's expectations are not satisfied when they get in the country they thought they would be visiting with a brighter future. Even if you land a well-paid job, you might not have much money left over after paying taxes on practically every dollar you spend. Since there are many young people without jobs and some nations are experiencing poor economic growth, I know that while most people who successfully relocate abroad may do so, others may not. Personally, I don't see any reason to leave my country; I am doing well professionally, and if it's at all feasible, my only wish is to, with God's grace, expand my business into a few foreign nations.

Moving to another country is not easy and requires extra money. Therefore, it is wiser to stock up on some financial cushion for this. Better yet, find a job before you move, otherwise, while you are looking for a job, you will spend your savings. This can be done using the Internet. Look for online jobs so that you are not dependent on the local job market and you have the opportunity to travel as you wish. Modern trends in labor and technology allow this to be realized.

Moving to any new place is never an easy thing as you will need to learn a new culture just to fit in, but some companies do this as a way of team building and skills transfer to help the company grow...but should this be a personal decision, then it as to be a secured job and not something that involves job hunting because this could turn out as a resource burn out from your own pocket.

People who go to another country to earn more in the country of their birth, we cannot blame them if this is the only way they know to save their family who only depends on them, we must respect it.
If the job is found its a good thing, but if your family remains long distance this could open new holes like a infidelity and other other unexpected changes because nobody wants to leave by themselves.

Now for me, I would rather stay here in my country than go abroad because I believe that it is possible to earn more than the wages of people who went abroad. And that came true because of my belief in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It's not big, but it's enough to say that it's possible to have a family, of course.

The answer to this question is dependent upon the country of an individual and the economic situation in their country as well. Definitely, before one decides to travels abroad, have they considered the taxation and also the cost of living over there compared to your own country? You know, some people travel abroad thinking they are going to get a better future, but when they get there, it sometimes turns out to not be what they expected . You might get a well-paying job, but after paying tax on almost every penny you spend, you might not even be left with much money. I know the economic growth in some countries is bad and there are a bunch of unemployed youths, so most people who also succeed in moving abroad may succeed while some may not. Personal for myself, I don't see any reason to move out of my country; I am doing very well in my career, and if possible, I only have the dream to extend my business to some foreign countries by God's grace.

You're right. In my country, there is a saying: "Do not confuse tourism with emigration."  Everything that we see is beautiful in other countries, and thinking that the standard of living there is better than in our country is actually a big delusion. My brother immigrated to the USA. Everything was in my native country: friends, home, relatives, and work. Now living in New York, he only has a job and a family that he sees only on weekends.

I think the best thing when we move to another country is the economic and political condition in our country is chaotic, I have a plan to move to another country when I am still in school, but after I am more than 27 years old, I canceled the plan because I was sure I could be successful and rich Although in our own country, there are things that we cannot get if we move to other countries, namely the sense of belonging to the country.

I already feel comfortable living in my country, even though there are still many difficulties, especially financial and other economic problems, but I'm happy and don't plan to move to another country, I have a friend who moved and married a citizen of another country, even though he works and has a good economy but he felt something was incomplete because he had to part with his extended family, especially his parents and siblings.

Abroad is generally more opportunities for everything, education, employment in all aspects. Leave the country and go abroad because they leave their place and go abroad to live a little better. Due to lack of employment in our country, lack of facilities like abroad, low salary etc. Also nowadays higher education abroad does not cost much more than the domestic cost. If you think about it, it is rare then it seems more to many the cost of studying abroad depends on the country university and subject.
I think the OP here did not emphasize the point of going out for studies. He emphasized on employment. As such, it is good to go abroad. The OP is thinking that everything is rising up especially for leading good life due to inflation in his area. In this case there is a big gap between income and expenditure. If he goes abroad, he will earn more money and have a better life. I would say if he gets a chance to go abroad he can take this opportunity. If you want to live a better life, there is no alternative to moving to a better country.
Correct, I'm mainly focusing on employment rather than education because the latter is supposed to be temporary. Inflation is a global thing, however, in some countries it's worse than others.
With the way things are going now, technology seems to be the future so getting education and not knowing about technology is incomplete, make sure you know a lot about science and technology so that you can be easily secure a job no matter where you are in the world.

You don't have to move out of your country to another country to get a good job around I find it very hard to leave my country and move to another because I am hearing a lot from people that are living outside the Country about the situation of the place, so I prefer to stay where I am much more comfortable. my advice is if you're not enjoying the way you are leaving because of your job try to learn something new, you can still make it where ever you are.
Indeed, Covid-19 really sped up the process to digitalise everything, including the workplace. Unfortunately, not all positions can be conducted without physical attendance, which is a huge limiting factor. I'm not sure how an economics position could be conducted solely online.
If you are born poor then there is nothing you can do but rely on the paycheck-to-paycheck situation until you have earned enough to establish your personal business or investments.
It's not about being poor, life is supposed to be more than surviving from paycheck to paycheck. Someone who's living on just the basics doesn't have the capability to invest money if he isn't capable of escaping this vicious cycle of barely surviving.

There are many thing you need to consider before you're moving to other country for job, aside from the language barrier, cost of living and knowing which jobs are open on there, you should know the culture and how high they will accept foreigner to work.

Japan is the example of high individualism, anti social, high pressure and working for above than 12 hours in a day. There's no work life balance in Japan and many people are committing to suicide.

Being in a third world country, I think moving to a different country to start a life will give a better opportunity for me to grow and even financially. Although it's probably a hard decision to make, but if given an opportunity to move with the family, I'd take it into consideration. Although everything will change, the environment, the people around you, the culture, the language, and such, I think that's the part of it that you have to work on if you really want to go to other country.
Also, what op mentioned about working online is also great. You can work anytime and anywhere, you can also work with people from different country even without the need to go to another place. I also prefer it but I think the opportunity to move to another country to work and to live there comes with a bigger opportunity so both thing are good. It depends on what the person really wants.

So yes, would you consider moving abroad for a better future? Would you try to find a way to stay in your country, either through online work or by accessing all possible opportunities?

Every country has their own challenges, you might think moving to the US is better since you can get lots of job applications in and get a good paying job but then you have to be worried about the shooting in the US, schools aren't safe for your kids and when they're the foreigner they become a target. We have police brutality going on in the country and other racist crimes.

I'll prefer to stay in my country that I'm already used to and not be worried of been the minority citizen due to been a foreigner and work online. There are lots of job online, you just have to get the right skills to be eligible for those job and you'll be getting same pay as those working abroad.

It seems many people are looking to go abroad, and America is their dream, they think America is the most livable, richest, and safest country. But they don't know that every country has its own problems, and one of the things I don't like about America is the liberal use of guns. In the US, every year, there must be hundreds of shootings and bombings in schools and hospitals...for me, this is really terrible. It is not paradise as many people think.

I will also stay in my country, maybe the economy and life won't be as good as in America, but at least we'll be safe. Economically, many rich people in my country don't need to go abroad. Therefore, I think rich or poor is due to each person's efforts, not entirely determined by the environment.
