Well, we all know that this pandemic has wreaked havoc all over the world and many people really need help today. It's not just people who are indoors, especially people who help fight this disease. And my first priority is to donate to organizations that I know are also making a way to help everyone in need. And I would never donate to casinos even though they have charities and organizations. Because so many organizations have been formed to help people in need because of the pandemic, so I would rather choose their organizations and donate.
If the institution or casino is very known to its charity works then why not? But as long as I have no idea with the background they have in charities, I guess I'll go likewise as others do. I'll donate directly to charitable institutions directly but it doesn't mean that I don't trust casinos that has their charity works. It can be a matter of time that everyone will donate to the charity program of casinos but, if you have been gambling in that casino for a long time, it's a sure yes that we will.

To be honest I prefer to donate in a charity especially this time of pandemic. Much more people need help due to they have no job so that their family have np food to eat. Instead of having full stomach, they become weak and when we are weak we are more prone to virus. Since they do not have money , they cannot afford to buy medicines.

You misinterpreted the content of the OP. They partner to a certain Charity Giant and all donation funds will go directly to that certain charity. This is quite a good initiative for a casino since many gamblers are willing to donate once they won huge amount of money on gambling. Its just like tipping the dealer or the butler when you won.
I think this idea was great and willing to support if ever the online casino that I always use (Fortunejack and Betsports) will add this event on there casino. I still never visit Bitcasino but I'm willing to try once this is effective. Just let me know
Just like everyone else, I'd prefer to donate the money personally to people who needs help preferably to the ones who are in need of immediate financial support.
Charities are somehow being manage by popular people and I think those are enough. We don't need any other casino or any third party establishment to give a hand to those people, helping your neighbors and love ones who are away from you will do.

No, I'm not going to be comfortable donating to a platform that is one of if not the best money making business machine in the world.
And like the rest of the guys here, I prefer directly giving out to the organisations specially local so that I can see where the money is going specially if it will go to my fellow countrymen.

If it's a responsible casino with good and safe betting games, why not. Will never donate to casino that promotes bad and unsafe bettings. The games/bettings will need to be beneficial to the players (alternatively, it should be consistently producing many winners) , it must not be violent/bad, it should be safe, etc

I guess we all do it whenever we lose we just donate the rest of our money by going all in

I would, but with a limited extra money I prefer to just contribute to local efforts. It would be easier to donate to a casino based overseas and be able to help people from far away if only my own neighbors and relatives are not in the same hard situation. Right now, I myself am not having the best of times. Perhaps those who are well off despite this crisis will contribute an amount. This is a perfect time to help one another.
Why not if there is available funds more than willing to donate, but unfortunately because my country is one of the hardest hit by the pandemic I have to take care of my love one first, in fact I am also getting support from the government, but it's good that a casino is creating a fund drive for victims of this pandemic.
After seeing how the money was misused in some local charity campaigns a long time ago, I decided not to give the money to anyone anymore but to rather use the money to stock up some food/toys and personally hand them out to those in need. What makes it even better is the feeling you have when you see their smile. Makes your day every time.

Actually I'm not so sure. I try to avoid third parties when giving a donation, I prefere to give directly to organization or induvidual person that collects donations.
It's not that I assume there will be some misuse but in direct contact it could definetely be avoided so I probably wouldn't choose donation through casino.

Donating via casino is still a good choice for someone who wants to donate small amount because they may not take much effort for donating few dollars but for someone who wanted to donate with such a huge amount will go for the straight way like organizations or even by themselves so they get more fame via this.
I agree with you, and I also think most of us will choose to donate directly to an organization. Not because I don't trust casinos, but I think it will just take more time and process unlike making direct donations. It's also easier to look for organizations and charity that accepts donation since there are more programs like than looking for a casino that also accepts the donation. Although your intention is to donate to help other people, you should also make sure that the money you will donate, will be given to the right hands.

I prefer to go directly tot he organization ,not that I don't trust in the casino, but it's just my preference to donate directly to those who badly need need and take away the third part, but it's good to read that a lot of casinos are doing fund raising to donate to charitable instituion at this time of pandemic.
what do you mean by donate straight to casino ? contact thier support and owner and send money to them or donate the other way around like depositing and playing the gambling for fun but not in a way to make a profit ? id rather donate on charity or i can also donate by my self like going on streets and handing out food for the street people . there are casino that have done donations using thier own income but they dont ask thier members for donations which is also nice to see .
We cant deny that some countries are started to go back on its normal routine but the risk of contracting covid still high, as much as I wanted to continue the lock down, there are certain needs to sacrifice in order to live. Yes continously doing locked down could narrow the case but, people are losing funds for support on their needs. So everybody has their own take with it.
