Either your English skills are not up to the mark, or your comprehension skills are not good. If you won't eat human meat in order to survive, then good for you. But you can't ask others to do the same. For the rest of us, it is just stupid not to stay alive when you got a choice.

Losing the will to live is a mental disability, an ordinary human would do anything in an emergency situation to survive. a large majority of the survivors who tried to kill themselves by jumping off of bridge said that they've regretted jumping. You may not want to eat another human to survive and when the pain of starvation is great enough you'll regret not eating that meat in the first place and then when you do, it might be too late to do so.

Well i don't think you understand what we're pointing out here and i think the argument would just go around in circles. It's not about eating someone for pleasure so why question our upbringing? I'm sure its very easy to say that you'd rather die that consume human flesh but hopefully we all don't get to a point of desperation where we would be presented with a choice to just die or, as a last desperate option, consume human meat.

It is more like a personal choice. If you prefer human feces over human meat, then it is perfectly fine with me. But I will never eat feces, even in a life or death situation. Doing so is quite repulsive.

Well true, only people slackers who would do that, eat anything so in a state that is very hungry. In this world a lot of animals and plants are edible. If we keep looking for something decent to eat we'll find him, and it was not human flesh, human flesh was unfit to be eaten by humans. Finding locusts can you use as food, grasshopper is an insect that is good and healthy to eat.

Yes but why should eat humans? We could eat other like an animal or plant. I am sure there are many diseases if eating human flesh. If there was a famine maybe I would choose to eat the plants, if any definite meat animal flesh. Besides my religion prohibits to eat human flesh, so under any circumstances I would not eat human flesh.

I have never eaten human meat, so can't comment on how it tastes like.

However, Issei Sagawa (a Japanese cannibal) once claimed that the human meat is the tastiest of all the meats.

It's really interesting to see them speak like this, but I can just imagine them in desert island situation... Well, of course, eating human meat should be the last and final resort.

I think the common misconception in this thread is that we're mistaking human consumption for survival for cannibalism. There is a very broad line between the two. If we have a choice of eating fruits and other animals then why would we be eating human flesh? The thing here is that there are situations where in you won't be given any choices. If you crash landed deep in the andes mountain region, with days between you and the nearest civilization what would you do? Of course you'll try to use up every available option but if you're in a very desperate situation, it's either you survive or die. And again you won't be eating someone alive here.
