Cannibalism is a normal thing in nature where there is no food to survive on. There have been ocasions where cannibalism has occured how with animals ans also with humans. There's nothing wrong about it if there is no food, I don't get it why are these people so afraid of that.

You don't know why people dislike it, so would you kill a man/woman/child then chop them up and eat them?

if there is someone who takes his own brother, obviously I would condemn his actions because he had violated human rights.
do not make survival becomes a reason to eat each other. there are many other ways to survive.

Survival may be the only legit reason for one human to eat other, other than some guy killing someone and eating him, that's mentally deranged person. Well there aren't that many ways to survive if there actually aren't that many ways. Eating another human to survive is the last resort you should come to.

Edit: I believe I would eat my own leg first. Probably less chance of getting kuru disease (like poor Hillary) and it was my own handiwork which constructed the thing in the first place. Biologically I don't see any risks. Back when I was prone to nose bleeds I remember swallowing pretty big globs of pudding-like blood which coagulated in my sinuses so it's probably not all that much different.

In that scenario I'd eat my leg first because it's simply my leg and I'm sure that it's not infected or that I;'m not infected in some way and would eat it and deal with the fact that I'm eating my leg a lot easier.

What? Here's the situation: You're on a desert island, help comes in 15 days, there is one fresh dead body next to you and you have crates of water and tools to start a fire. Would you eat that human in order to survive long enough for help to arrive?

If the situation were clear-cut as you describe (no food in the water), I'm pretty sure I would. If I were the soon-to-be dead body I would implore the healthy person to do the same with my last breath though, and to be quick about it before my meat spoils.
