Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment.

I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.

The places that are accepting bitcoins here in the area are enough to accept the offer.

Actually that isn't a half bad idea for employers to consider this. It would probably save them in the long run. Wink

Working in a law firm I would of thought they would embrace being able to pay you another currency that could save them money in the long run instead of paying out in one that is not so volatile. You know lawyers Roll Eyes

save a buck here save a buck there. It is the sound of money that is all they are after.
I heard in the philippines some companies prefer to pay their workers in bitcoin cause they have a really good system in place to be able to send money overseas without the high fees the bank and money transfer companies they have to deal with charge them.

It would be a dream of mine to be able to get paid in bitcoin. That would not be a problem for me where I live.

There are so many ways to cash it out with bitcoin debit cards and atms are bountiful in my neck of the woods. I just check google maps to locate one where ever I am when i need to transfer some to another person. No fuss no muss Grin

Your right that is volatile but i think depends of the person who wants to receive salary in bitcoin. for me i can accept it as my salary because i can instant convert it into fiat..

if you do not find companies that pay wages by bitcoin, then you create the company. and it will be your achievement in the future.

For me it would not be a smart thing to get my salary in Bitcoin because it would be a whole thing to try and pay my monthly stuff.
It could be possible in the future if Bitcoin becomes more popular.

Yes, I too think there is no problem getting the salary in BTC, everyone want high income, and for the better income BTC is good, the rates are high and the good thing is can change into fiat easily if we want,,, so receiving a salary in BTC is good but it all depends upon people itself !

Yeah Definitely would like to receive my salary in BTC. I convert my salary to bitcoins anyway usually. So if I just receive my salary in bitcoins then it would cut out the middle exchanger and make it a lot easier.

But if you convert your money to bitcoin with the exchanger your salary already have deduction because of the fee and your salary would not be fix because of the fluctuation of price of bitcoin that is why i do not want to received my salary in bitcoin

if you are going to exchange it for fiat then why you wan to receive it in bitcoin. i wish to receive it but i use my salary for my livelihood and it can hardly fulfill my needs. and there is no facilities to buy the daily needs stuff directly using bitcoin therefore i cannot receive my salary in bitcoin.

You are hundred percent right Etalia,that what i was talking about in many threads similiar to this one.
If you get salary every week let's say,and you will get it after a really big rise of bitcoin,you wont get many bitcoins right?
And what will happen if the price will go down there? then you would lose really a lot...

The possibility of bitcoin dropped that big is unnecessary there's no news nor information that bitcoin price will fall down, seeing the news is a positive progress in bitcoin that's why if you receive salary thru bitcoin by now there's a chance you can double your money and not losing it.

Also add that accepting your salary thru bitcoin is an andditional demand in bitcoin means you help bitcoin when the price increased.

agree it, each people have diffirent perspektif, also he have diffirent plan, im holding ethereum, and my target reach 1000 ETHERUM not sure wwhen i can reach it, but now i mine and buy as much as possible, currently i have 25ethereum
