would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency?

After reading this, I'm just like "Where do I sign up?" In a country where bitcoin is the official currency, then people all know about bitcoin. That means literally every single person that's in there shares the same interest as I do. Since they had the guts to move there, that means that they really do love bitcoin. Another thing, a lot of bitcoin users love computers and most of the people in that country would probably be in front of their computer 24/7 just doing bitcoins or something. I really want to befriend a computer geek since I, myself, is interested in computer and bitcoins and I have never found a single person in my area that's the same. Most people here are like people from the past. No one's really techhy at all, and if there is, they are too big-headed to converse with a regular guy like me. People are basically either too poor or acting too rich in my place.

Some people here are being problematic about the Internet usage. That makes me confused. In a country where bitcoin is the official currency, it is obvious that the whole country has an Internet connection because otherwise, then that will not be a country that has bitcoin as an official currency. There might be some places where there's no connection like off-the-grid places but obviously you're not going to have a transaction in that place unless you are doing something so shady.

live in a country that uses bitcoin as the official currency? I think that would be difficult, why ?, because we know that bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone. this must be regulated, there must be another currency used as a reference, for example USD or EURO, so when bitcoin prices rise or fall will not affect the value of the sale and purchase price, or when making any payment.

I would like for that to happen but there might be some modifications. first the country must make a wallet (semi decentralized) that you can send money from your country to country with no fee or small fee. like what we have here on the philippines we are using coins.ph

Yes, I am fan and user of bitcoin but having bitcoin as official and only currency in the country doesn’t seem that good at all. If bitcoin will be considered as another official currency for a certain country where it can be used as one of the mode of payments and transfer then it is better. Since bitcoin has highly fluctuating value, the economy of the country will be highly affected. For me we should still consider bitcoin as digital and additional currency but not the only currency that will prevail in a country.

in my country the bitcoin is not allowed and not legalized by the government if used as a currency-like exchange, I consider it a government effort to keep the currency of my own country and not fall and economic crisis.

Having an official currency that changes its value every second is hard because we can't trace the exact amount of a certain thing that we will going to buy. Also, I think no country will use bitcoin as their official currency because its price is not stable. Bitcoin is a good currency which having an increasing rate so many people want it but making an official currency makes bitcoin hard to adopt for us so I think I can't live to a country that will make bitcoin an official currency.

assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?
Yes, I am willing to live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency. Even the currency goes up and down, the use of currency will be also the same because the market price of the goods will just go with the flow of currency.

Currently some countries are using bitcoin as a currency like Japan. But for my country bitcoin is still strange for everyone. Some bad news about bitcoin has made people's beliefs about bitcoins not good. The government has no policy to encourage the development of bitcoin. I heard that in 2018 my country will ban mining. This is a sad news for me in particular and for all bitcoin users

I think if that country uses bitcoins as their main currency then it wouldn't matter much when the price goes down then that countries good and commodities will adjust to the price of bitcoins and so does the salary and everything. I think the amount of bitcoin used in that country would adjust based on the price of the market just as how the cost of living varies from different country with different currencies do.

All our wealth is digital money without any FIAT currency? No, I don't want to lose all my money in one day.
So many factors make it all scary, such as that criminals get bigger and the internet can die anytime. We don't know but it could happens, right?
I prefer to live in a country with fiat currency and Bitcoin so I can trade them and convert them to fiat currency any time.

That would be not matter if bitcoin's price go up or down, cause of nobody would exchange that on dollars or any other currency. So, yes, I would like to live in such country, but I doubt that the life there would be different from any other country.

I won't be living in a country that uses bitcoin as their official and only currency because I think it will not be helpful for me now especially bitcoin's price is high, and it is hard to buy one. Also, we all know that bitcoin is volatile. For me, it will be hard living like that because it suddenly changes and you will also have a hard time budgeting money.

If I have countless of btc in my wallet, why not? But, no I wouldn't want to live in a country that has no fiat and uses only btc as their currency. I will never feel safe using btc as a daily medium of exchange. Everything I bought will be reflected on a public ledger and that's kind of creepy. Also, people who own lots of btc can be easily targeted by criminals. I'd rather have btc used side by side with fiat.

I dont think I could live confortable with a country that has no fiat too. A cashless society is a very nice place in imagination and day dreaming but I dont think it would be great in reality. Just come to think, If you are doing transaction only and btc and all people who have your public adddress would be able to see all your transaction, isn't it would be like no financial privacy already?

I would live in a country that uses both the digital and fiat currency. But as for only digital currency, I don't think so; because unlike the fiat currency that has a direct access of usage at no transaction fee, the digital currency requires the use of internet which would sometimes have difficulties when you want to make a transaction.
Yes it is not good to use digital currency only as payment method because there are many issues in digital currency that are needed to resolve just like the anonymous transaction that are needed to limit in order to avoid using it to illegal activities and also the ability to use it because bitcoin transaction can be used only in online transaction and many people didn't have a chance to use internet because of lack on knowledge on how to use it. It is good when all of the people become ready to this changes and use it easily as a payment method.

I will surely live in that country and i also believe that it is possible. We are now on the digital age and it is surely possible that in the future, digital currency including Bitcoin will be more often used since we are now more on technology. There are already countries that made cryptocurrency and bitcoin legal as a currency and i think more countries will do the same on the next years to come.

It will be a very nice idea because payment will be very easy but some people can not stand the fluctuation in the price of bitcoin. So I prefer the usage of but cryptocurrency and fiat currency.
