A luxury watch won't be an option for me, but I will make Bitcoin and other assets my priority, life without investment is like embarking on a journey without purpose or goals to achieve.

Luxury is for showing up but investment is very promising in a way that you are assured that sooner or later something good will come out of it.

When you invest in bitcoin, you might not start earning or profiting from it immediately, because of the condition of the market, as at when you invested your money, but one thing is for sure with time depending on your patience you definitely smile this also applies to other asset like real estate.

It is very risk to buy luxury watch because despite that you can sell it if you want, it will never worth the amount you bought it, the price might shrink a little considering the fact that people don't patronize the dealers frequently, in some cases they might decide not to even buy it back from because of one reason or the other.
In the process you may lose the watch, so be wise in decision making in other not to regret.

Luxury watches at the top end of the market can be considered as an alternative form of investment. While I don't possess extensive knowledge about watches, my understanding from available information suggests that reselling them can yield a substantial profit. The return on investment for luxury watches tends to be quite satisfactory. Prominent examples of such watches include Patek Philippe, Rolex, and Audemars Piguet, some of which have a waitlist spanning two years. Most of these watches tend to appreciate in value.

However, the worth attributed to an item is typically influenced by its demand and supply. While I believe that owning one or two high-end watches, provided they are well-maintained, may outperform stocks, gold, and real estate, it's worth noting that their appeal may diminish over time. This is because future generations are increasingly gravitating towards other interests, such as bitcoin and other emerging trends. If given the choice, would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin, digital assets, gold, stocks, or real estate?

I will rather go for Bitcoin. Luxury watches may look like a treasure but not as valuable as Bitcoin. Bitcoin has the potential of making thrice of your initial fund within months. If you can hold Bitcoin with patient, I'm sure you will definitely smile at last when the profit comes.
Have you ever been in the luxury watch business? I haven't had a chance to do that either because we need a lot of money to get started, but I've had a chance to see a few people do business with it, and the profits they make are not small. It's a business, and if you can do it well, its returns are even many times bigger than bitcoin investment. Profit from investment or from business depends on your ability, it does not depend entirely on the assets you hold. You will also lose money investing in bitcoin if you don't have complete knowledge about it.

Ive also watched some documentaries about those businesses that sell rare and luxurious watches in New York. Most of them also accept Bitcoin as their payment method, and most of their clients are rich, influencers, big politicians, and mostly wealthy people from other countries. They are making a big and even pandemic hit, but they still have clients purchasing it. Meaning this kind of business is really good if we know it, but again, we are not knowledgeable on this kind of business and also need huge capital, so we prefer to choose bitcoin as we already have background on it.

The luxurious life without money is nothing in the society. When someone is living in a luxurious life and he has enough to eat in his house then he is okay, but whereby upon all the luxurious lifestyle and there is no money to attach to it then you are just deceiving yourself personal self and not the people you are trying to impress. So if you have money and you you have two options to choose. Investment and the watch then I will choose investment, and when the investment produce money income then I can buy more luxurious things for myself and help others.

I think this is not too difficult to answer, yes, back to the origin of the demand and supply of an item, the rarer the more interested the higher the price. If we associate it with the scarcity of BTC later, maybe the pattern is the same. I'm currently dicrypto first, if I have enough funds maybe it's not just me who also has a desire to have a good watch.

I would much rather have investments then a luxurious watch. Because I know that in the long run, my investments will have to pay me more, and later I can get a watch. Now while having luxurious watch is cool, impressive, and a sign of social status it is only limited to that because you only have it sitting around your wrist.
Whereas a investment you are surely going to see some financial returns in the long run. The other great thing about having investments is that you are not limited to one stock or asset.
Take for example someone who has recently purchased a expensive watch and someone who invested in Bitcoin. Over the course of time, the person who bought the watch will be able to see and tell what time it is.
But the other person who took their money and put it in Bitcoin is now rich while counting the investment from their return.
You've got a point there. Luxurious watches are cool, but they can't make you richer. They're a symbol of wealth, not a source of it. Investing, on the other hand, can grow your wealth over time. It's not about having a shiny object on your wrist; it's about growing the shiny objects in your bank account

However, it's also important to note that not all investments are like Bitcoin. Not everyone will strike gold, and there's always a risk. The dread of potentially losing your investment is a reality we must all face. But remember, every investment is a step towards building your wealth, even if it's not as glamorous or immediate as a luxury watch. The bitterness of waiting for the return is the price we pay for the sweetness of financial security. It's not a race, but a marathon

Of course I will choose bitcoin instead of buying luxury watches, future economic conditions will be difficult to predict and if we experience financial difficulties then the easiest thing is to sell bitcoins, even though one day the price of luxury watches survives or rises of course it will be difficult to sell or find buyers from the watches we have kept.
Actually both are good investment , luxury watches can be sell at high price as well when time passes by and we can say that it worth to invest with as well. If I have some enough money of course I will diversify it to buy bitcoin and to buy items that will not depreciate so easily . Bitcoin is a good investment we all know that and 2024 will be our season again but also please be reminded that bitcoin is volatile as well.

You ask this question on a bitcoin forum so expect the answer of people would provably invest on bitcoin since they already its potential and also how they can multiply money for its different investment methods. Having luxury watch is just a status symbol and not necessarily needed so most provably I will erase the thoughts of having this that's why I go with bitcoin since this could give us more better returns.
Exactly. Since we are dealing with bitcoin investment here, and people have higher faith with bitcoin because of its potential returns, then it’s obvious that majority will eventually stick to bitcoin despite of its high volatility. Instead of buying luxury watch, which obviously it’s value will only depreciate in the future, then people will clearly stick to bitcoin knowing its value will keep on growing especially when bull market is around.

Luxury watches if made with high quality and from the world's best brands certainly have high prices and only a few people can buy them. Buying Luxury Watches Apart from providing an elegant appearance for the owner, luxury watches can also be used as an investment, especially if they are made with materials such as gold or diamonds. So luxury watches and bitcoin can be said to both offer investment opportunities, but they are not the same and are very much different.

However, for me, if I have a lot of money, if I am asked to choose, which one is the best to invest in? I would say Bitcoin remains the best for now as Bitcoin is in very limited supply. I also don't consider luxury watches to be a classy asset, To me Bitcoin is a classy asset to invest in, and holding it will be invaluable in the future.

Besides, I think the reason someone buys branded items like watches is because:
1. To look more competent.
2. The reason for the perception of the brain that associates expensive things with happiness.
3. For reasons of showing off.
4. To be accepted in a certain social class.
5. Due to the artistic value of certain watches.
6. For investment reasons.
7. compilation of the reasons mentioned above.

Imagine you bought a luxury watch worth $1 million and Bitcoin worth $1 million today. At the end of 3 years, let the clock be valued as 150% and Bitcoin be valued as 180%. Let's assume that you need money and want to meet this need with one of these two investments. Switching to cash by selling Bitcoin will be much easier than selling luxury watches because of the demand. In the case of the opposite scenario, it will be easier to sell Bitcoin, even if both investments have lost value.
Also, dont forget that there arent much people who are ready to buy that watch for $1 million. A person must be ready to spend a million at once. While with Bitcoin, if you deposit that $1 million worth BTC to exchange, lots of people will be ready to buy different parts of your deposit. There not have to be one single person who would buy your whole deposit. I also believe, that watch value in 3 years wont grow for 150%. For watch price to grow, it has to be really unique and there must be low supply of such watches on the market. From manufacturer point of view, if their watches sales are good, they would continue producing them. Which means it is hard for watch to be really exclusive in short period of time.
I agree that it's going to be something special when it comes to spending that much money. I have seen people online that wore millions and millions of dollars worth watches, there are special watches made with diamonds and all that worth upwards of 20 million dollars. That's not the type of person that spend their money on a watch instead of investing, that guy already has a ton of investments and business they are partnering with in order to make that kind of money, they have an income basically.

But I wouldn't spend a dime on a watch, I have my phone with me everywhere I go and my watch is my phone, so I do not even buy those watch or whatever it's called tech thingies that connect to my phone, I use every bit I have to invest.

Sometimes it's funny too when we compare two things that are very much different in terms of value and also in terms of how to use them. An expensive watch is an item that has a clear physique that can be purchased because of its luxurious appeal when seen by all. Whereas Bitcoin is a digital asset that has no physical possession but already has a lot of value and users, where the buyers are people who already know it quite well.

If the two choices were directed at me personally, I would prefer Bitcoin for me to buy because besides being able to save it as an investment, I can also trade it on any exchange at any time I want. As for those expensive watches, I think their function is not much different from cheap watches because the time shown by expensive watches is also the same as the time shown by cheap watches. So personally I would prefer Bitcoin over a watch that functions the same as any other watch.

Got a coworker of mine that tends to invest in these luxury stuffs, not just watches but also those expensive necklaces that you can buy online. I can't see the appeal yet to invest to those expensive necklaces, but I understand that its price can still appreciate over time.
There must be someone who believes in investing in luxury goods more than in general investments such as bitcoin, stocks, real estate etc. I don't have a friend in investing in luxury goods so I don't understand how to earn in investing in goods whether this is a hobby that is made into an investment or deliberately investing because it has become a habit that is done because it already knows that expensive or rare items will continue to increase from year to year.

How about I diversify?
Luxurious wristwatches can be assets too. Most of them are gold and buying them is like investing in gold. Most celebrities buy a lot of gold necklaces, rings, writs watches. These are investment too but most people do not know.

So if you can afford an original gold wristwatch then you will most likely have enough to invest in Bitcoin and other assets.
It's not wise to invest only on one assets, so if you have the money diversify into other assets like too like real estate, stock and so on.
Investing in luxury watches is even harder than investing in gold, as it requires a sizable amount of initial capital. Those watches are not only made of gold, but most of them are limited edition, so they are very expensive, and not everyone can afford them. In addition to the fact that you need a lot of money to trade them, you also need high-class relationships because you cannot sell them to workers, office workers...So I think investing in bitcoin is still suitable for many people, and it is the easiest investment because we can start with any amount we have.

Diversification is essential but if you don't have too much money, you can also focus on just one asset for better returns.

I have observed a point of view of many people here, and also strongly agree that the option of investing in bitcoin will be more familiar, it is easy for us to only have $1000 to buy a luxury watch to live trade or do something later, but the same amount can be fully invested in bitcoin. More than their features are not the same in terms of perceived profit potential, is it possible that if I have a lot of money, a decision to buy an expensive watch can be made to polish my name and understand how I feel? I feel like a luxurious life, but honestly I like simplicity so I don't need to make the effort to buy them later, whether or not a stance of accumulating more bitcoins in life will be the direction that I believe thought.

Only certain people can have it as a collection that they consider as a hobby but also make money if in the next few years.
Will the brand names of luxury watches with million dollar prices drop by 90%? I don't think so, the company will maintain the value of expensive watches, I haven't seen luxury watches drop drastically unless they are counterfeits.

Actually we don't know how the schemes develop in their watch business if they are already experts and professionals in this field of course some will choose as luxury watch collectors.
Since we only know about bitcoin investment, we will fully believe in this asset while others will be considered less profitable.

I would rather invest it into crypto for now. Fear of ending up in a rust is a factor for me even though legitimate ones don't rust at all. Considering that one of my hobbies is PC building, I rather do that rather than be forced in doing another hobby that I do not fancy.

How about I diversify?

They are indeed investment, but not many of us have the privilege to buy those. Some just do not get the appeal in buying those.

Depends on how luxurious it is, I mean is it a rare edition that the most coveted? I might be able to sell it for several times the price on the auction market.
But yeah, that would be when I have a wealth preference that I think the price of a luxury watch is very affordable, lol.
Right now I'm just looking at the reality that bitcoin is an asset that I can reach, so I'm not gonna take this question too seriously.
