Wouldn't it be boring? No working harder to get that diamond ring and why we need to goto work to earn what?

Don't think it would really be possible. Something would have to be used as currency. What would you receive in return for your work or effort? A high five? A large percentage of people would rather sit there and let other people do all the work for them.

it's almost impossible to live in a world without money today
You cannot survive without money because we all depend on this

People at the beginning of civilization lived without money.
If they wanted something they exchanged with something of the similar value, food for food etc.
Of course, in modern society something like this is not possible but I can imagine that paper money will gradually disappear and replaced with cards or just virtual money.
But this I can imagine that paper money will gradually disappear and replaced with cards or just virtual money. is going to happen in developed countries and developing countries need centuries for this

Forget about the complications and negatives of living in a moneyless world for one second, but don't you think humanity could finally advance?

Nope.  Why should I work and support someone that doesn't?

Why should I work if someone is naturally better looking, taller, smarter than me? why do I have to play on the same league?

Funny, but my 11yo niece has asked me more or less the same thing this afternoon (no joke). That was a nice opportunity we had, to talk about Capitalism/Communism, barter/money, libertarianism/statism... all these Manicheisms of our world...

I was amazed to see how interested she was on the subject.

Now, answering your question: I believe that a moneyless society would not make much progresses. It would be crippled and restricted to tribal life... maybe would be a "big family" style, like some South American Indian tribes...
