yes steady growth, keep stable, make people confident to buy and invest in bitcoin. also good for their economic, as we know bitcoin and is second option to transaction around the world, no limit, no need more document and not waste your time.

Well it is good if the thing that happens is, cryptocurrency become the currency, a worldwide currency. But if it stay as it is today then it would be better if it rise constantly that lead to more investors but then it will result to cryptocurrency being stagnant. All in all both is good for bitcoin.

Bitcoin lover!
We already want sustainable growth of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We have already seen the consequences of a sharp rise in bitcoin prices. In the end, what did he give? Some managed to sell it at a high price? And nothing more good. Of course, if you do not take into account that at this time almost all altcoins are also.
If bitcoin grew in price more moderately, now for a whole year the market would not be in such deep stagnation. In addition, now he would have a price much higher than its current price and the holders of cryptocurrency would not be in such shock.

A steady growth is indeed needed in a state of adoption but we are not still there yet so we still have time to see bitcoin having strong upward strikes. Guys, just let us bitcoin reach its maximum potentail first before we talk about steady growth or force it to be a stable coin.

Yes, steady growth of bitcoin means that there will be more support and people will trust bitcoin more. Also this will make Bitcoin to be a stable currency and hence more people will adopt it.

I wanted to see what the general thoughts of the community here are. With bitcoin being in a pretty steady state for the past few weeks, it seems like there's going to be a set up for some kind of growth. With that, there can be many paths, but after seeing today's price (which was up around 5% when I checked), I was wondering if the volatility is what people actually like about bitcoin.

So, do you guys like the volatility and the strong spikes upwards or would you rather like steady growth, around 5% gains over time?
I will prefer for bitcoin to grow in a more stable manner, people are very afraid to invest in an asset or a currency that moves like bitcoin and this is making the adoption to grow more slowly than it should, I know this gives an advantage to those that are willing to hold and buy bitcoin despite the volatility but it is getting to the point that we could win a lot more if people decided to invest in bitcoin instead of staying on the sidelines.

However I see this as an investor and long term holder I am sure that a trader would see this differently and will like for bitcoin to keep moving the way it does so he can take advantage of the volatility and make a lot of money that way.
Yes that is too much important I think. I hope that if bitcoin will continue increasing its price in a steady manner then no doubt that bitcoin price will remain too much stable and we will not see any crash in bitcoin price. I hope that if it will continue increasing with the current price it will be too much good for the market.

Strong upsurges in bitcoin prices then lead to strong price drops and very long price stagnation. Therefore, it will be better if Bitcoin grows slowly and confidently, but with moderate bursts to revive its trade. If there were no December bursts, Bitcoin would now have a significantly higher price and investors would not be so disappointed with the cryptocurrency market. And most importantly, the Altcoins could calmly and evenly develop and grow, and not lie now for a whole year near Bitcoin.

Without big fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin, we still cannot do. Of course, I would like Bitcoin to grow more slowly and more smoothly, but sometimes with moderate surges in price. Large price fluctuations of Bitcoin harm both Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole.
We can see this in the example of the December increase in the price of Bitcoin to $ 20,000. As a result, the price of Bitcoin fell by 70 percent, and some other cryptocurrencies to 90 percent.

I would prefer a steady grow, but it's impossible because of unstable supply and demand of bitcoin, as well as fluctuating interest of crypto investors. I know this pattern is unpopular - traders prefer fluctuations (that's how they make money using the price differences). But I like thinking about bitcoin as a currency and not only the speculative investment.

Characteristic behaivor of an asset in the market is mostly determined by its investors. As you know, most of BTC investors prefer to gain huge amount of profit and this makes BTC open to the speculations. If more institutional investors start to go in BTC market, we will see less fluctiations and peaks.

Nothing wrong if most wants a steady growth, that's how we see the possible thing that will come for bitcoin. For short term people they will choose the strong upward spikes but the opposite outcome of it is the same. Expect big drop with that, we want safe haven like having a steady growth but if the market corrects it won't give significant effect and drops can be minimized.

Any of them is good and I’m okay with any one that happens. There is a steady growth and there is also some spikes along the way and you can decide to cash out a little profit from the spikes and continue to HODL as the price continues to grow steady for long term and when it reaches you want, you can withdraw everything. Things are good the way it is I guess, I mean, like that’s how we met it, so I’m good with it.

I really do not mind either way, as long as I get profits I'm happy, however it is obvious that a more volatile market gives you more chances to make money, so from the point of view of which kind of market gives you more profits it is clear to me that most people would prefer a volatile market even if that means that they will need to take greater risks and that they have greater chances of losing their money as well.

I'd rather go for upward spikes because i can profit from it cause it will always have correction reversal to the downtrend than this continues bearish trend that's getting me nowhere and got me stuck for quite a while now. Hope this 2019 is a good new year cause ive read some news about institutional investors investing in digital assets.

We have already witnessed a strong upward surge in the price of bitcoin in December last year. Almost a year has passed and we still ask ourselves the question whether bitcoin will recover in price or not. If bitcoin had grown slowly and progressively during this time, there would have been no particular problems, and now the price of bitcoin would be far beyond $ 10,000. I am for a bit of bitcoin volatility with slow overall price growth. This, in my opinion, is the most optimal model that would suit everyone.

I'd stick with a slow and steady increase in the price of crypto currency rather than a huge spike and huge or a sustained dip throughout the financial year. Also, a slow inctease means a more stable and strong coin than a volatile coin. I just hope we can finally see Bitcoin or any crypto currency be adopted soon.

I'm sure everyone will definitely see or want steady growth but in the crypto market I don't think it's possible, even though growth can run fast and steady growth for several weeks to months, but correction will always be there when bitcoin prices are moving upwards. So volatility will definitely continue and I am not sure there will be steady growth in the crypto market. Because the assumption of "steady " is growth which does not contain volatility in it and he will be consistent to increase.

Of course, it seems much more positive for the global environment of bitcoin a steady growth, because the high volatility that has characterized it so far has been one of the main arguments against its massive adoption. No person with enough common sense would be willing to sell something of great value as a car or a house for bitcoins, knowing that in the following days his fortune could disappear by 50% or more.

It's actually not bad either for stable growth and it's very safe if you invest in these conditions, but I tend to prefer big jumps because it's more profitable for trade and if it's stable it doesn't always go up I mean there is definitely a decline this only makes a profit small but indeed safe for investment. Because the market conditions are different, what I do is to follow the market conditions and adapt to these conditions to make a profit.
